I have tried the best I can to get to know him and let him get to know me, but it doesn't work. It just does not. When he needed someone to caress him, I even personally asked a nice lady to be with him as long as he needed. The lady kept me informed about what they had together. Few days after he came back home, away from the lady, he and I were still in contact. Every time I called him, he still responded. I tried my best to talk to him.. to understand him more. But lately it seemed that he just wanted to be alone, doing whatever he loved doing before he met me. I know I am the most guilty one. I couldn't and still can't give him the caresses he needs the way the lady did. So I guess, he missed the lady more than he did me, and that's why he stopped responding to my calls. Yes, he has stopped meeting me.

Nothing I can do, but expect the best for him.

Anyone here who lived though the 60-70s remember the junkers we drove. Rust? So what if one could change the drivers front tire through the floor boards. As long as the engine ran, the frame held together and it went forward and back...well..at least forward...we ran them into the ground. Bought them for $65 dollars and got 20 back for bringing the good tires back.
And tires..hmmm...what are those funny lines on new car tires? We invented slicks for street. So the re-cap is peeling..they dont re-cap bad tires so it will not blow. Maybe time to change tires, we are down to the third set of cords.
My ex told me the floor went on his Beetle and the front seat fell down. So at 6'3 he pulled the front seat out and drove from the rear seat. Bumpers fell off...ah just ornament anyway.
Which brings me to today. I own an 02 Chevy Impala with 115K on it. Owned it for years now. Brake line blew, replaced. Gas tank strap just gave and shop..( I do NOT work on anything newer than 79) said we have another issue. The coils on front are half an inch from puncturing the tires. So what can I do? Can I replace the car today for a grand. Yeah! Fat chance! So coil springs and struts.
Come home a couple months later, turn a corner and..???? Steering does not feel the same. So friend checks it out. Try a trick..hydro seafoam into depleted pump to clear a clog. Huh...that was not it. Blew the rest of the line. AAA back to the shop. They got the fitting out and did the line. There goes 600. Why is the ABS light on now. ARGH!
Fuse? Nope. Brake fluid? Nope. Friend gets under and says crawl under here and look at the A arms/control arms. Gee...can put fingers through the metal from the bottom. And the top. And the side!!
So gingerly drive the car back into the shop and hope I dont hit a bump. There goes another grand for two new A arms. Oh, by the way, your front brakes are almost metal to metal and lets do those for another 300+. So there goes another 1,060. And it is the sensor for the ABS so kiss that goodbye. The brakes are fine. Cant change sensor without the whole deal. I get anymore lights on the dash, I will be ready for Xmas lights. Check engine is always on due to the THIRD oxygen sensor that took a dump within months.
I need to patch a hole in the floor board or get more carpeting. And oil the rust here and there.
Bottom line? Interior perfect. Body is a 20 footer. Engine only 115K altho the one that likes to take out valves. So anyone able to sell me a car that good for 3,000 today?
Didn't think so.

Everyone else is..why not. First off, I will be running as an Independent. That way I can wish wash to Dem or Repub as needed. As far as fund raising, I will start a go fund me account that people can contribute to. I promise that everyone who sends more than $25 will receive a coupon good for one chicken because everyone deserves a chicken in every pot. No debates. No need. I know exactly what everyone wants and needs and I will post my agenda promising it all. Trust me.
I wont be doing rallies either. But, will show up anytime and anywhere someone offers me a free lunch.
To appeal to the soccer moms, I wont be paying for posters. Instead I invite all children to draw some for my campaign and put them up around their towns. I personally will view snap shots of them and pick one as my vice president. We need youth in Washington. I offer the wisdom of age and my VP will offer Oreos.
My foreign policy will be the Monroe Doctrine. As other nations have done, I will nationalize all foreign held businesses and corporations and appoint good American citizens to run them.
To ease the burden on the middle class and poor, I will eliminate all property and income taxes on anyone under $50,000 a year. I fully expect all landlords to reflect that gain in lowered rent fees.
The White House and Capital have a ton of rooms. Too much of them are wasted space. Therefore I will turn those rooms into bed and breakfasts and office space to rent. Those congressmen don't need private offices. They can gather in one of the large rooms in cubicles like normal office workers. I will order congress to return to the way legislatures were in the 1700s. Go get a job cause there will not be a salary for you anymore. It is a duty to serve the people and an honor. It is not a life time career eating off the cash cow of the working poor.You will work one month in summer and one in winter. Sitting around all the time on your butts just has you writing stupid bills to prove your working for your pay. The free cafeteria will be replaced by a Burger King. Pay for your meals like the working class has to. And you do not get a pension paid for by the workers. You go on Social Security and Medicare like everyone else. Lets see how you feel about them then.
I will slash welfare for everyone unless elderly or disabled. Baby mommies, you dump those 6 brats on granny to take care of now so you can go to the casino. Might as well go to a job instead. Or figure out who takes in those kids as their job so you all can go do others. As far as the baby daddies, that same system will work for you. Either work and pay or babysit those kids.
I am sure I will be a show in for President. I will promise and promise and promise. Don't mind the fact that I wear mittens in summer. That is so you can't see me cross my fingers.

Swedish death cleaning is hard. Going through dresser drawers. Hey, haven't seen this top for a long time. Going to wear it now. Weelll..noooo. But, I might! Now you know you can't stand that fabric/neckline/ body suit,etc anymore. BUT it's pretty. NO. In the BAG. So one by one. I did end up with a grocery bag full to pass on to tenants kids. And it is nice to see what I actually have. More so...actually be able to close the drawers without a shoehorn.
I always was critical of the old women in apartments that shopped QVC, etc. And once a month, they would pull out their jewelry or clothes to admire and put back because they never went anywhere. And now..I am about that way. sigh...I heard tho that the return rate on those home shopping channels was over 60%!! I see that happening today with internet. Which is why Amazon and others are now charging for returns. I buy unclaimed mail and see it. 3 tops, small, medium and large. They pick one and return the rest. Or several garments and then send back most. I never order unless I have pondered and researched a ton and am positive I want it. And then figure I bought it, stuck with it.
It is hard to discard possessions. We spend our lives collecting stuff. Some stays because it always has been here. Some stuff is to be valuable in future and then no one in the future wants the stuff. We attach times and sentiments to stuff. They say take a pic and dump. But, how to toss in trash that shirt that dad always wore. It has his feel, his essence. Or those cards from people long gone.
We get used walking through a room and that piece of furniture has always sat there.
I did manage to get the Harley chopper of late husband out of my living room. I called his nephew and asked if he wanted to buy it for $2k. He jumped at it. Sentimental to him too. Thought I would really miss it. Funny. I dont notice it gone. Guess for so many years I had over looked it and didn't really SEE it anymore. Now I know it will be with someone who will value it. He said he will pass it onto his sisters boy who also carries the last name.

I find it hard to understand the violent verbal diarrhea from these liberals like Kerry these days. It is pure hate speech directed at the average Joe and Jill. Don’t be mislead. Unlike the voodo science wanting us to grow stomachs like birds have and eat bugs, there is real science out there.

Another word for inflation is gouging. When stores and companies get wind of issues, they use it as an excuse to charge more. Well! Everyone else is doing it! Their excuses? Wage increase. OK, you gave your worker fifty cents more an hour so that gives you the right to up your price ten dollars. Higher building costs. Maybe try shutting off most of those lights at night when no one is there. Cleaners can turn on the lights in the area and room they are in..the whole building doesnt need to be lit up. Look at any city at 3am. It looks like there is a party going on. Security? Ever hear of the invention of motion activated?
Taxes went up. So maybe cause your profits did? Shipping is higher. That is due to all the rest going up.
Basic greed tells companies to gouge. Walmart is now hurting. Have you checked inventory? Those you use all the time..out. Impulse buys..tons. Easter is ahead. Does anyone needs 500 different types of plastic eggs? Or the ton of other decor junk that few want to fill their house with. And store? Or toss in the landfill to re-buy next year. Walmart started out as a bulk buyer to provide goods to lower incomes. It was a success. So grew and grew and expanded areas not offered before. Then greed set in. Look at all those shoppes going to department stores to shop. Places with designer brands and higher prices like Target. Kohls, Macys, Old Navy, etc. Now..the CEO brigade thought...we need to pursue those shoppers because those poor slobs tend to buy necessities and limited items. Lets invent some of our own designers, increase prices and try to move up-town. FAIL! Quality didn't go up. Prices did. Your basic, boring, garment now is 25,30 or 50. Now the poor cant afford them. And the up-town crowd is no impressed and not shopping where the Wal-martions shop.
The government helps too. A bird tests for bird flu..so lets kill off a thousand chickens so there is a shortage of meat and eggs. Demand stays the same. So lets gouge and charge $4 for 12 eggs. I wonder how much of that the farmer sees.
Every time a refinery shuts for a week, gas goes up for 3 months. Gouging.
Now, lets look at waste. Dollar Tree now is selling No Boundary belts. Know who's brand that is? Walmart. The tags are still on with the $6 or $8 price tags. Instead of not gouging and selling that belt that China sold them for .25, they could sell them at 2 and not have to dump them to a re-seller. Or did those come from a failed Walmart?
One issue I see is the good old lost inventory, tax write off, damages, theft and other means the government provides companies. Why sell at a lower price when you get a tax break. The gouging mentality also tells them the fools who pay the high price, make up for the dumpster tosses.
But, inflation is not propelling so much. People are saying up yours, keep it. So desperate companies are starting to lower prices. It will snow ball. They cant sell high, they wont pay high. Those middle men who sign the bill of lading as that semi drives through their lot will find out they cant gouge. The trickle down will slowly work. Of course..if fools pay the high price, nothing will change.
