Mr Depp won

Yes he took on the fake accuser and won a victory...for innocent men accused of a crime they did not commit.

i watched depp's testimony regarding amber turd and heard the recording of her abusing mr depp.

i watched this duck faced woman...who showed no emotion as depp gave his evidence...a stone face...cold hearted and agenda driven woman...who in my view...planned to take everything from mr depp...the moment she met him and thought she had beaten him...but mr depp...grabbed in both hands his bowling balls and took her to court to prove his innocence to the world.

the feminists will be unhappy...cause a very high profile man won and their agenda to deem all men accused by women guilty...without any evidence and no trial...instead of innocent until proven guilty.

the problem is the average guy...won't have the resources to fight fake accusations and won't have high profile women defending their characterlike depp had..not to mention the massive fan base that depp has.

it is a victory...but so much more needs to be done...to create a fair and equal environment for both men and women...basically...not believe all women...that is misandry and not realistic...when we all should know...that neither all women and men...are not universally truthful and goodprofessor

Business etiquette

I know manners have flown the coop. But, when running a business and making money off customers, wouldn't you think the old rules would still be a good idea.doh
I am used to no service in many stores. Find it yourself or try to find a clerk. "help in aisle 7" is code for "not my job, head for the bathroom and hide".mumbling Of course that is almost better than the clerk who follows you all over trying to help. Please..just looking!frustrated I'll call you if I need you!
I need to get a roof on my barn. Started last year and still looking. Call companies. Smaller have a machine. Leave name/number/message. And NEVER get a call back. Or promises to come look. And never see nor hear them again.
Got hold one of the roofers awhile back. He called back. Said he could do a prelim off satellite views. confused Okaaaay?!dunno And still waiting to hear back. One company does it right, their message stated not til Oct for opening. THANK YOU!handshake
Leave voice mail. No one calls back. Now onto tree service. Called back. Made appointment. AND...never showed. Never called.
Talking to lawyer for trust. Started last year. Secretary says he will call, has questions. Yep...still waiting. Good thing I dont have one foot in the grave already.
Seems the norm these days is never keep a promise. Never be where you said you would. Never pick up a dang PHONE to let someone know change of plans. Glad all these folks are so dad gum important. Hope you are late for the prize drawing and your business goes belly up.very mad

How to get banned from my home..

Yesterday, I was contacted by an old friend, who wanted to talk. At first I brushed it off, but then I said "I'm not gonna call you. Let's meet up in person". So we did. She arrived there, with her boyfriend and their dog. We then went home to my place, and headed down into the basement. At this point, my friend was pretty drunk. Smelling of beer, slurring her words and laughing about her dog potentially taking a dump in the kitchen I share with 5 other people. I kept saying that if the dog had to go, it would have to be outside. "I'll clean it up, no worries", was all she kept saying.

Strike one. When you are in other people's homes, you respect what's being said.

I wanted this to be over quickly, so when her boyfriend asked me "Can we see where your room is?", I jumped that that opportunity.

We went upstairs, and I opened up the door to let them in. Her boyfriend found my Lego, and was lighting up like a kid on Christmas. My friend then went outside into the hall, and looked at the door opposite mine. "Can I..?".. "No, you can't. Stop it." "But. Can I..?" "No, you can't. Please stop"..

Next thing I know, she's opening the door into the room. I grab her and pull her away from the door, and the guy in the room closed the door. Into my room we went, and I closed the door.

Strike 2 and 3..

I am normally a very calm person, and I rarely raise my voice, but the rage I felt inside me was intense. I told her, that you just don't open up the door to other people's private areas. After a stern talking to, I opened up my door and went "That's it for tonight. Get out.".

During this, her boyfriend also went "What are you doing? You just don't do that! Respect other people's property.."

She has now been slapped with a permanent ban from ever visiting me again. I can forgive a lot of things, but I cannot forgive something like that. Invading other people's private property without being allowed to is a huge no-go. Luckily I am on very good terms with the guy whose door she opened, so nothing will come of it, but if I wasn't, and if I wasn't on good terms with my landlady, that would have been immediate grounds for eviction. Something like that can never be defended.

I am seriously reconsidering ever inviting people into my home again after this.

Grumble grumble

A floor installer is coming in a couple of hours to lay a floor in my entrance room which I also call my office. Although for the first time I do not need an office any more. I surprise myself looking back that I've required an in home office for the last 50 years. I am not sure why.

The room getting the floor today is a room the previous owner added on to the house. It is the coolest or warmest room depending on time of year. The only awful thing about the room is the floor. Someone poured a concrete floor then made it look like Terrazzo but it stained and looked like dirty concrete. Odd the rest of the house has either wood or tile floors which are beautiful but not in the entrance/office room. The entrance way is the first impression too.

I got most of the furniture out of the room with the exception of the huge beautiful HEAVY desk (which I no longer need either) I wish I sold it before I moved it and went with a much smaller lightweight one but I'm an idjit. Also the stationary bike is super heavy but it does have wheels. The installer can deal with that.

My last task and I'm dreading it is I have to take the desktop computer apart with the dual monitors - I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT WITH a gazillion wires. I've always had an IT department or was married to an IT guy. I don't know WTF to do so I'm trying to label everything (both ends of the wires) color code and take a ton of pictures as well. I'll be without a computer for a couple of days unless I want to dig out my laptop that I stored a few years ago- I'm sort of afraid it won't work. My Router is in the room with the needed floor so that is the only thing I'm supposed to leave.

For usually being a disgustingly happy person in the early morning, I'm quite frazzled but actually now that I dumped on you I think I may feel better but I don't feel courageous. heart wings

Serves me right for thinking I can take on any challenge. Guess I'll just adjust my attitude with some latitude and get the job done. Wish me luck folks - I have a whole lot of stuff I can screw up ahead of me.

Are we seeing Putin's chessboard unfold with a huge pincer movement....

which might explain why the 40 mile long army in Ukraine near Kiev is where it is at this time (block).

Fountain Of Youth

I’ve been to this blog area on and off for about 11 years. It’s interesting that some bloggers who have been here at least that long, have the same exact profile pic all these years later.

Isn’t that sort of a scam, to not update a profile pic from time to time? It seems misleading or at the very least downright lazy.

The Plot to steal the blogs

Simply post something so stupid, that it angers the sensible and inspires them to comment in protest to the ridiculous. They then get in arguments with other idiots, who support the blogging idiot.
That way, the blogger is perceived as being an idiot, but a popular idiot.
It's a technique used on here for a long time to distract from more informative blogs by others and admittedly requires personal discipline to avoid the trap.
One can not change the mind of someone who has a defective mind.
All that gets accomplished, is a waste of one's time. head banger

Your way up

One of the criticisms I've faced over the years is that I'm not aggressive enough or assertive enough, or maybe somehow because I'm emphatetic, I'm weak.

I totally rebel against that, I refused to believe that.... You cannot be both compassionate and strong wine
