In the quiet of the morning
And the sky is clear and white
And dawn's soft hush has slipped
Across the solitude of night
When the last pale star has fallen
And the East's a rosy glow
Streak with lavenders and orchids
With a touch of indigo
When the colors are all blending
There is no defining each
And the sun peeps up appearing
Like some plump and pinkish peach
There is nothing quite so moving
Quite so silent, quite so strange
As the Lord's most recent wonder-
Birth of morning on the range
I can't quite seem to fathom-
I can't help wondering why-
I was placed among such beauty
All this solitude and sky
Now I see you ride before me,
As my feet trod earthly sod,
I watch you vanish in the sunrise
Go With God!

A crisp new canvas on the easel
An untouched meadow, snowy white,
We pause to choose our palette,
To what tales our tracks may write.
So rest awhile.
Reflect a bit,
Start your New Year slow
Lest rage and passion of bygone days,
Stain crimson on the snow.
Choose the path that suits you best,
Paint with colors that will last!
For the future lies unblemished
By the errors of the past.

As I walk along... I see
Nothing is calm
I feel the world for me is moving on
Once it all was lost
It cannot be found
When all the people here are
Running around.
Don't lose hope
Don't lose faith
In where you go
The next step you take
Is closer than you know
As I walk along... I say
Will I understand?
Down for all the days
The upper hand
It once was hard to think
That nothing is calm
Now I know which way I'm going to go
I'm moving on.
Now I'm standing here ...
I look up to the sky
I almost understand the reasons why.

It's a woman who has an appreciation
Of the world around her
And of her unique place in it...
If she has energy to devote both to work
And to play....
If she has the capacity to give of herself
And to accept graciously
The gifts of others....
If she has people
She trusts and is trusted by,
People she cares about
Who care about her..
If she has a zest for life
And a feeling of kinship with all living things..
If she has the enthusiasm
To welcome each new day
With warmth
And joy
And love...
Then she is truly a successful woman.

Love and Hate, Twist of fate
15 years ingratiate
Hey it's time to play
Come outside or come what may.
I'm glad it's happening to you
There's nothing better you can do
Cannot stay, cannot pray
The world we know is not the way
It's time to say
Pushed aside or pushed away.
Held away the darker days
Don't look back on yesterday
Shades of gray
Move aside, or move away today.
Sing a song of what went wrong
Now you're here and then you've gone
Brand new day is on the way
Fly away today.

Toys of the mind
we create for
ourselves
With pink ribbons
and glitter and
kept on a shelf
On any given day
we'll unwrap
one or two
Pop open a
box-any one
will do
Today it's the
black box and
out jumps the
hate
With green eyes
and envy
That's ruling
our fate
It's a rainy
day, O well,
Just plug it
in the wall
Watch it spin
and twirl as
it sets up
our fall
To late to
put it back
It won't fit
in the box
Growing bigger
in the mind
With it's own
chain and lock
Hurry to those
rainy day toys
We invent for
ourselves
Created in the
factory by our
our mental
elves-

It is amazing how people are never quite
Who you've figured them to be...
The lady or guy smiling prettily
Can be A monster deadly...
The stone cold ogre can be
The best friend you'll ever see
And your worst enemy
Can the face in the mirror be...
So chin up and turn your frown upside down
Take a look around and see
Really see, reality

Sky lightening up
flares and flashes
arching high above
Pretty sparklers in
kids gloved hands
waving circling
Loud bangs from rockets
as they explode showering
multi bands of colour
Catherine wheels
spinning round
a visual delight
Guy on top of bonfire
soon is well ablaze
warming cold hands
Display now done
kids head for bed
to dream of it again

I was born from the dust of
the earth yet I taste the breath
of eternity
Call me what you will, but a God
would call me blessed
I am nothing one might say until
my worth has been assigned by
principalities from beyond this
realm
Yet this revelation is given..I possess
no wisdom to validate my claims
Ramble on and on the wise men
echo for no one has the knowledge
of eternity.. go your own way until
the consumation
But, alas! My own thoughts cause
me to smile
I am lost
I am alone
I am nothing
Without her..

online today!
blue is the colour that we see
staring at space into infinity
a blue sky appearing up above
denotes fine weather that we love
a blue ribbon for a performance
implies a standard of excellence
a blue jeans is a common garment
that is found on every continent
a bluebird is a symbol of bliss
which signifies true happiness
a blue moon indicates an event
that is extremely infrequent
true blue signifies deep loyalty
to a cause or person that is worthy
a blue sky reflected in the blue sea
paints a picture of perfect harmony
