Oval Octagons ( Square Circles Part 2 )

Trapezoids trap me with lines intersected...
Radial diameters internally fall...
Injected polygons, purely perfected...
Sick shapes help to build this foul wall...

Hexagonal angles just mangled my soul...
Perpendicular pretexts, I lost all control...
Pointless pentagons...
Oval octagans...
Geometrical shapes without tips keep me whole....

SIGNS OF SPRING

Trees so silent in winter months
now flowering with blossoms,
waving and shouting,
youho, hello.
The winds are vengeful
bringing sweet colours to the floor.
Coating the ground pink, and
thoughts of red cherries galore.
A lightness of heart.
A warming of the soul.
Catching a glimpse of nature
not so different from our own.
I shout a hye to the skies
and my buddies the trees.
We will lift our heads high
and welcome the sun
and keep branching out,
for when all said and done.
Life is sweet,
as sweet as my trees.

The offering

What have I to give thee
that you do not already
possess
Am I not a sojourner through
life as thee
I built you cities and vindyards
yet you sit upon your terrace
and gaze at the stars
Your heart yearns for that mystical
union that beckons you from heavens gate
I gave to you children that danced
in golden fields of wheat and you
saw them prosper in the earth
Yet, their tiny hands became fists
of vengence and your heart was
broken
Your silk black hair I combed in
evening mist, yet your hearts desire
languished for some home beyond
the stars
And when you died I blessed mother
earth for her warm soil cuddled you
in a babes sleep til your dream angel
carried you into unapproachable light-

Memories

Memories of what was meant to be,
Would not have been,
Had it not become,
The way it became.

Memories of what is to be,
Would not become,
Had not it been,
The way it should be.

YOU

You turned my head that day, while i was looking the other way,
you brought in light, to replace the deepest darkness,
you brought the tide to me, when life was on the ebb,
you brought me hope eternal, when despair had ruled my days.

You brought the laughter, that silenced the mournful crying,
you brought me pride, that i could feel less shame,
you made my heart dance, when it could but hardly walk,
you took your sunshine, and left me, and then the rain came.

The Poet Slayer Cometh!

Awake! Awake!
Look to the hills!
The Poet Slayer
Cometh!
Flee for your lives
ye who take up the
pen!
Your words have been
weighed in the scales
and found wanting-
I come riding on a
red horse and shall
put to the sword every
frivolous word written-
Tear your eyes out and
dare not look into the
eyes of truth!
Your dainty words are
a stench in my nostrils-
I will not stomach these
mindless rhymes of blue
skys and green pastures!
Sheep! Mindless dreamers
all of you!-
I will charge into your
valley and slash your
pretty fables..and your
noble sentiments fit
only for frogs!-
I Slayer, will expose
your tearful phrases
of dewdrops, and golden
sunsets as mere food
for the locust-
Your futile rants of
beauty shall be trampled
without mercy-
Your own words shall
drown in a sea of black
ink,and every mothers
child shall fear to
write another word-
Run you mud dwellers!
Your feeble rhymes will
be plunged into a river
of molten lava!
Yes! I Slayer Cometh!
And by the sword I shall
judge your WORDS!~

Fragile

Capable and strong
Survivor of all that's wrong
Yet delicate as linen lace
Fragile with new challenges to face

About this poem:
Often life seems to have all negative intersect at the same relative time in
one's life and no matter how much stamina we have we reach the edge
of shattering. This is a tribute to those people and an understanding of
their unique plight.

Paper words

These are just paper words
This is nothing more than an
electronic graveyard whose
resurrection awaits your call
Dried ink scorned by the endless
ticking of the clock
When shall these symbols of
life and love rise from the ashes?
Where are the wings that fly me
to your door?
How long must my passion endure
this black grave of silence?
Step out onto your terrace and
breathe the velvet night
Let down your hair and remove
your robe for surely as the moon
slips accross your secret dreams
my hands shall be upon you, and
you shall lie limp in my arms purring
the sweet moans of stardust

Your Title Goes Here

Colorless world of gray and white
timeless days one into another
hands at side not moving just there
laying growing inside festering to be
flame refusing to be distinguished
beating drum on auto pilot
clinging vines clasping to branches
knuckles white refusing to let go
then in the mist she rose
first just a small glimmer
fire spreading on dry branches
swift in flight soaring
higher and higher rising
cold held tenderly by warmth
a new day has begun

mountain man

The happy always act
go the extra mile
times too short to analyse
the chemistry of a smile

back there in a second
when fur met bearded face
a fabric-smell conductor
on a horse to a special place

near creek and stony edge
a place you called the strand
where I watched you comb
your long black hair

and the sea back
from the land

I'm running lil
I'm running still
from the law
and from my sound

the man who fell
can lodge in hell
he tried to put me
in the ground

in February you come to me
dressed in moon and sky
in November you're the snows
that bid a frightened year goodbye

Clearwater Lil
your with me still
as much as pelt
and winter's delve

the beaver gives me
warmth and food
midst the year's
partitions twelve

I'm rough-hewn Lil
you picked me still
to your north star
I'm the black

trace elements fly
to fill the sky...
...You bring the things I lack

the bullet in my arm
is deep in shattered bone
so I guess I got a friend for life
a pain best left alone

Sweet water lil
I settled my bill
with life
and nature's laws

I'm the lone wolf
of silence
I'm the blood
that stains it's paws

I found the earth's rhythm
it bonded in my core
I get to trace a human face
each year at the general store

Once I thought I saw you there
of this I must confess
But my mind was stung
by glare of sun...
she wore your muslin' dress

Sweet water lilly
I'm being silly
the roof
of hurt is done

there's work to do
and huntin due..
I don't rely on anyone

see that bullet
in my arm
is deep
in shattered bone

so I guess
I got a friend for life
a pain best left alone

Sweet water lill
the sky got still
it shattered
on the ground

the pieces lay
on knees to pray
a new lake
born and found

they call me rough
and some say gruff
to face the cold of hell

in a cabin made
with dull axe-blade
with senses
void of smell

Sweetwater lilly
my brother Billy
wrote me in the fall

" Come back Ruar
Our world got sore",
But that letter's
now in ball

Some days are good
and understood
Some nights
are baffled pain

Some weeks
I have no patience
Some months
I count the rain

Nature's trues
salves my blues
like the ghost
of some guitar

I think about us
making love
my comet
to your star

I sing sometimes
my country rhymes
to prove
I'm still alive

I chase with haste
my worries pace
mad bees
protect the hive

I wear a coat of memory
I wear the breath of you

Sweet water Lil
your with me still
It's the best

this man can do.
