My bucket list

My bucket list is to
Make good on my
Words..

To not relinguish my
Dreams and passions
On the alter of wishful
Thinking

To summon the powers
Within whose gift only
I can know

To open the door of my
Heart and to share the
Gift of my love that is
Meant for you

To lay aside tear stained
Poems in exchange for
The reality of your touch

Your smile..

Your love.

Sometimes but Never !

Sometimes your life seem so indifferent,
Sometimes you feel it doesn't make a difference,
Sometimes you fail so many times without a reason,
Sometimes you stumble in darkness without a beacon.

Never make the same mistake again,
Never give up to avoid the pain,
Never quit and run away,
Nevermind what people say.

Wordplay Part 2

I have a vague recollection of being in the pre-existence...
I've persisted with persistence from resistance that resisted...
I've insisted my insistence, without any assistance...
I can vaguely recall said dark distance...

Persistor existor...
Insistor assistor...
Resisting the painful resistor...

Persisting existing...
Insisting assisting...
Resisting your twisting sharp stings...

Enlisting your enlistment, I have made a commitment...
I'm smitten with the figment of your pigment...
And just like an infant, you are innocently innocent...
And are as pure as the stars in the distance....

Gracious Beauty of Nature (my challenge)

The odoriferous scents wafted
through the window stirring
the tassel back and forth
looking out I see flowers

They festoon the garden
all shining and glistening
such gorgeous foliaceous plumage
creating hidey-holes and niches

The megalith is standing sentry
the musical notes of the harmonium
blending in with the bird songs
floats through the verdant garden

lush vegetation forms mystique shapes
Soon I will irrigate the rolling lawns
I stand unobtrusive, hidden from view
the backdrop of amethyst hills effective as

They make a frame drawing attention
to the utter loveliness of this mansion

Mirror

You hang there on the wall
casting reflecting images
as people move about
capturing briefly faces

How many have you seen?
what secrets could you tell?
mysterious, you keep them
forever held within your glass

Young and old also in between
they have all gazed into you
each with their own hopes,
dreams and aspirations

You hold all of these within
an odd glimpse sometimes seen
when deep into you a gaze lingers
catching a brief glimpse of ?

Green-Eyed Monsters

Will there ever be some good remedy
For malaria makes the skin jaundice
But perhaps is the world's worst malady
Making roots in the soils of avarice

There really can be no admiration
Only sharpenned tongues wave covetously
Cutting to ribbons with insinuation
Hissing in the language of jealousy

What an unpleasent sight to begrudge
Someone else with a vile spit of envy
Such hidious eyes made narrow judge
Hides in a lair of poison ivy

Crawl on your belly for your deadly sin
Lowly green-eyed serpent living within

About this poem:
For all of those poor suffering souls with such
chronic bouts of "invidia" I assail you to find
this cure. Peace, Love, and Tranquility.

Yesterday--------- CHALLENGE

Yesterday is gone, too late for regrets
All memories of the past locked away
My hopes and fears joining them
Troubles I have had like most, happiness
Seemed to be just a dream from the past
So few of them have survived, once
Far from here I was carefree until you went
Away to war, the news came, lost in action

Now I dwell in the past with locked memories
It seems no point when I no longer can share them
Looks of love from others all around me
As if to taunt me, reminding me of you
Though it is a lovely day my heart weeps a single tear
They're one of many that never manages to fall
Here in my eyes they remain burning hot scalding me
To be with you once more just once to hold you
Stay my heart screams, do not go, do not leave me

Oh how can this be, such terrible pain rips at me
I hear a knock on the door and he is there saying
Believe in me my love, I told you I would return
In your heart you knew I was alive, I am back safe
Yesterday is over, the war won and our life moves on

Yesterday
All
My
Troubles
Seemed
So
Far
Away

Now
It
Looks
As
Though
They're
Here
To
Stay

Oh
I
Believe
In

Stone Ring monorhyme

Majestic stones stood in a ring
while birds flew by on the wing
this once was a place of kings
who spent their time battling

Their foes were now for beheading
this fate was cruel but befitting
a warning for others come warring
with every intention of acquiring

War horses swift of feet cantering
plunging with battle lust capering
the knights so proud are gathering
the stone ring they are honouring

Through the ages cults made offering
changing as they grew up in culturing
yet never the stones change appearing
mystical, powerful capable of conjuring

Dreaming Within A Dream

I keep wanting to dream within my dreams~
Direct my subconscious self as I do my conscious self.

As I watch the dream unfold~
I can't stay in the background.

Yet~I find myself, standing on the sidelines~
Unable to be the director of my dreams.

I attempt to voice my concerns~
Only to find I silence myself.

Can I not make the decisions I want and need~
Do I silence myself out of fear or anger.

Dreaming within a dream~
Awaken, renewed, yet~still confused.

Poem Gets Death!

A Poem was sent
to prison
To await
execution

From fearful minds
who'd silence
Freedoms Revolution!

At 6am. the guns
will fire
Every phrase shot
through and through

But Freedoms Rhymes
will reload again
to give its life
for You!
