Let It Out

When i vent it is
not to make you
look bad, but to
just get it off
my chest.
Then i am O K .
I am SORRY to
have taken the
momentary discomfort
off me and put
it on Y O U .
For discomfort
to another is
not my goal.
Just to uncork
my bottle if
only for a
minute to let
out the steam.
If only for a
moment of release.

i've forgotten

Thirty years investment
Of love fun an pain
The rewards undeniable
The joy simply plain
A lifetime together
Nurturing what we had
The difference in you i saw
Was it now going bad
You seemed to be distant
Recognition wouldn't last
No glint in your eye
When nostalging the past
You looked as if you were searching
Forever ...all the time
Lost within your world
Your memory could not define
Words you would mutter
To help you find your way
As i watched on in sadness
My trying would go astray
I searched for a place for you
Where you could be found
'Twas the hardest thing for me to do
For you my dear love were always around
Everytime i used to visit
You never knew who i really was
Your new friendship with a fellow
Tore the roots of my heart ...just because
Our life had been a joyous one
Many years we did share
So when the past did die at last
It would never stop me to care
Back i came again an again
To see if something new
Had changed with in your vision
Of what i was to you
But alas you had lost
Everything you had
History was a second to you
Forever asking ...that was sad
I walked away that very day
Never to know you again
With it i took my memories
An wrapped them in my pain
Buried them deep for me to keep
Recalling them again an again...

The Leaving Time

Through the tangled branches,
I see the hues of scottish tartan hills...
I see the hints of sunlit fingers reaching
this dark forest floor.

They stroke my cold body,
warming me...
deliberate and steadfast,
the darkness becomes less so.

I am leaving this place now...
where i hid from myself,
and where I hid from you -
walking, but not running...
glancing back but once.

I leave.

Oceans

Embedded image from another site
It s a beautiful day I think I will go for a ride
Surfboard in the back, the devil riding shotgun at my side
Tanks full of gas in my black 63 Deville Cadillac
White walls, top down, suicide doors in the back
Following the coastline until the land disappears
But the objects in my review are closer than they appear
Sunset falling fast beyond my site to the west
The sky dances with colors as I remember a time lived best
I look to the clouds as I try make out the shapes
I found a giants castle, a harp, and Heavenly gates
Where am I going still comes to my mind
But this is a journey only my heart will soon find
The moon sings in blue following twilights near
On the edge of serenity the wounds are sheared
I find the end of my rainbow somewhere in there dark
Where the shore meets the sea underneath a peer as I park
Alone in my thoughts I danced with my host
I took my last drink and against the wind I make toast
Hours sink in as I stand before the first morning star
Salt water works best when cleansing my scars
For the awakening sea brings gifts with the tides as they roll
One day Davey Jones locker will give me back the key to my soul
Heaven sends me company of creatures at birth of new light
I take my first step in cold water where burdens take flight
I lay on my plank as my body is swallowed by numb
At peace with the oceans and to His will I succumb
I swim past the break where point of no return is caving in
Patiently I wait for my set to begin
Nothing more effortless than gliding as I ride my first wave
Hand skims across glass where dolphins still play
It's as if walking on water or floating with air
Me one with nature stealing my cares
I melt into dreams as my eyes rest in the sky
For all of my suffering washed away with the tides

Fallen angel

cruel universe black and blue
I thought you were a friend and confidant
but now in the silence of eternity echoes the cry of my broken heart now l'm living the eternal hell
I closed my wings and fly alone with my thoughts here sitting on the shore of the blue sea
away from me dark night go down stars light I want
and you ether goddess
daughter of the infinite give to me
one more time
the breath of life

For You My Love

where are you going my friend

night time closed and day is here

don't leave yet it is not the end

if you have to go please don't look back

i wish that you could stay a while longer

my heart aches to see you go

they say what don't kill you makes you stronger

it's hard to be strong when you feel so weak

if i could i would stop you tell the angels to wait

take my tears and put them away for another day

they say that things like this is just fate

my ears can hear but my heart still breaks

to most today is just another day

to me it is much more

it's the day you went away

the day love closed its door

i wish that i could feel your arms around me

and we could laugh at things others didn't see

i'm not the woman that i use to be

when you left you took a part of me

About this poem:
This is just something about my today. Just like occassionally to post something for my sweetie. Today marks our four years apart. In the last four years (it don't seem that long) not every day has been bad or sad it has just been a day apart from him. Now I am going to shower start my day and get ready for a good meal out with an old friend.

Cards On The Table

The jokes
The games
That people play are not for me.
I need to find another like me.
I want a forever love to be with.
I want my soul mate God has sent.
I want my only that is here for me.
I want the one that is especially mine.
The one that i am only for them.
The one that waiting just for me.
So please Lord show me.
Show me my forever after.

Doris Lessing 1919-2013 (A tribute)

Embedded image from another site

Doris Lessing is dead,
And she's not a feminist,
An uninhibited outspoken novelist,
She's also sociable and artistic.

Embedded image from another site

Mind you she's no easy meat,
Won the Nobel Prize for a lifetime writing,
Passed away at the age of ninety four,
And her memories through her books will continue.

About this poem:
A tribute to the lady who wrote the famous 'The Golden Notebook'
She left her family to for her work.
Novelist,poet and writer.

Footnote : I really don't know who she is or read any of her books.
Just read the papers and when I was reading her story, felt compelled inside of me to write this, a sudden impulses and here it is with its full force.

Maybe its the magic of her aura or the mystic kinship from one writer to another. . . All I can say is while writing this, tears flow so I think she must be special.

hurt

heavy cool pallor
over this room
air fearfully still
yet windows...wide open
you came and you went
as you had a mind to
but this time your leaving
...has left us without you

hopin' rainbows of angels are watchin' our baby
and that she's smiling at us
and looking so proud
for that's the way we all feel about her
a loving dear spirit
who did livin' out loud

with beauty so rare
no finger can point it
at the difference that she made
when she entered a room
for the gleam in her eye
hot fire within her
was more than enough
to melt you away

there's a lump in our throats when we think about you
how you fought through the pain
and faced down the fear
teardrops are falling
'cause you're not around us
but you touched our lives
you'll always be here

A Sonnet to a battered wife.

Spied I, half concealed in a secluded cell,
lost graceful posture, shunned by sun strewn day,
ne'er far away, from Man's notorious perverted hell,
toiled weary worn amid sulky shades of grey,
blossom lost, she in quietude, a shy and lonely flower
that once shone sweeter, than fragrant roses e'er can be,
wiled away lost hours among dungeoned walls dark bower,
much tear known to murky tones unwanted melancholy,
serves sombre like, scattered sunshines once known hour,
thoughtless dismissed by impious hand, heavy, needlessly
by creed, of self-centered power's countenance most sour,
taints so the air, that wafts its fresh blown fragrancy,

Thus we, the caring world pass by,
talk proud ethos, yet no ethics e'er apply.
