Each of us is Captain

Like a Captain
who wrongly measures cone of his ship
towards star;
our dreams burning in heavenly light
carries much beauty in mist
and danger of high Expectations,
as heart that sailing in open sea
first sees beauty in sunny days of adventures
before meeting sea hurricanes,
while loneliness of sailing
brings many temptations...
Listening beautiful voice of mermaids
crashes dreaming ship to sea rocks.

Captain heart strand on shallow sand.

Each of us is Captain
to be at the helm of life ship,
Breading freshness,
that rainbow collar leaves after every rain.
Feeling like a passing traveler
Captured by moments of beauty and sadness,
Life and Death so closely holds hands,
In eternity circle.
And sea rocks laughs
over us,
Like we laugh over them...

Feelings

Tear drops running down our checks

like a gentle rain falling from above

Why do we shed our tears from our eyes

Its our feelings we can't hold inside

falling, falling we can't hold them back

We share those heartbreaks for all to see

Just letting it all go gently falling down, down

We helpless to stop and can't hold them back

Its always feels good as we let those feelings go

We just can't hold them inside anymore

When the tears stop the smiles return

and our eyes will twinkle again

Daddy

Daddy daddy
why did you make me cry?
All I ever wanted was my father !
You couldn't be bothered !
I wonder if you even remember me ?
You chose one daughter and left us three !
Yeah, you said we have a new father
In my heart I knew you were my daddy!
To this day I sometimes cry,
For a daddy who left me behind
We lived 20 minutes away from eachother
never knew it !
You had a lot to be proud of
You wouldn't give us a chance
My Mom got sick
You called me
Said I hung up
That's a lie !
I called you back
Hoping my daddy might want me back !
All you said is that you were sick
Asked if you could see mom?
I got the chance to say no !
If you only knew
my mom never stoped loving you
Don't think you cared
You were a very selfish man
Now your gone
I shed a tear or two
For a daddy i never knew
All my questions will forever remain unanswered
thanks to you!!!

MARCO POLO

Embedded image from another site

You came to my door as a stray
Moved into my home and heart to stay
12 Years have gone by so fast
Thinking of you today and of the past

Today you have gone to your final rest
Your pain and suffering gone at last
I will miss your bright whiskery face
Chasing through the house at a fast pace

The heavy weight on my legs or lap
Curling in a ball for a nap
Much more than just a cat to tend
For 12 years you were my best furry friend

So I lay you to rest today
Knowing I will see you on my Resurrection Day
Welcoming me with your furry face
Again laying on my lap in your favorite place

I'll Fly Away

My soul is eagerly awaiting to take its flight
To the land beyond the sunset
Where my loved ones await my arrival
At the pearly gate
With outstretched arms,
There will be no more pain
Nor heartache or tears
Sleepless nights will be
Perpetual rest.

loveless

simplicity begins in the first degree
with love spread over the path
from the wind high above
wrapping your heart
in the presence of a crescent moon
broken down on your knees
in the grass of a seductive please
holding your head in disbelief
wondering if love will ever
blow your leaves.

never forget

i will save the thoughts for tomorrow
for yesterday i will cherish today
as it becomes a distant memory
keeping it safe i'll put it in a case
sitting in the sands of time
you will never leave my mind
you will always be my one of a kind
smiled with laughter then tears just took over
while a red rose lays upon you
your disappearing face leaving with such grace
for today has come to sing you one last love song
harps play hymmmms begin
lowering you down to your final resting place
Huuuummm hmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmm
mmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm
Hmmmmmmm hummmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

THAT WAS MY HEART...

ONE DAY I MET A BEAUTIFUL GIRL
I COULDNT TALK THAT TIME
BUT I GAVE HER A FLOWER
WITH LOVE
SHE THREW AWAY THE FLOWER
AND WALKED AWAY SOON
BUT, THAT WAS MY HEART...

Something is Amiss at Poets Corner

Something is amiss at poets corner.
I don't know what, but my hackles are raised.
It seems someone wants attention.
But not praise.
Then another player is brought in.
In the guise of another's friend.
I no longer am sure who is who.
Male or female.
Or what story they are trying to tell.
I do know I have always liked this little place.
Sad to see the ambiance go without a trace.
Adult or child?
I will just sit back and watch a while.

The Search

I've drowned the flood
And blackened my blood
I could rip open the sky
And make all the angels cry
I could forever storm the earth
Undertaking a life long search
Always looking for what I seek
From valley low to mountain peak
I could even drain all the seas
And still feel that empty void in me
