Syrup Syndrome

Ceremonial serums reconstruct sickness,
Syrups deconstruct what is stuck...
Powerful potions relieve with a quickness,
Liquids laced with bad luck...

Syrupy spirits so sourly sweet,
Relief with no substitute known...
Elixirs, consistors of poisonous treats,
Belief in my syrup syndrome.....

Trapped in a Cage

Trapped in a Cage

At a very young age

Looking at the night sky

As the lonely years drift slowly by

He sees no future in the stars

For him, theres nothing

Beyond those prison bars

Someone help me

Cries a voice from deep inside his head

Someone end this misery ,I cannot hide

Someone end this misery inside

Oh Lord,end this misery

End this misery inside

Hes nothing but an empty shell

Drowning in a wishing well

His life is a torn out page

Ripped apart in silent rage

What does he do ?

When sleeps his only friend

And even then, the pain inside, it never ends

Someone help me

Cries a voice from deep inside his head

Someone end this misery,i cannot hide

Someone end this misery inside

Oh Lord, end this misery

End this misery inside

I am innocent

I am innocent

I AM INNOCENT

But, theres nobody listening

The walls have closed their ears

They have heard it all a thousand times before

They have heard it all a thousand times..

Before.

About this poem:
This is taken from a song I wrote many years ago,
thankfully I have gained my freedom since then
and life looks a whole lot brighter.

Mirror mirror

Mirror mirror on the wall
Tell me Tell me
will I ever have it all
Mirror mirror on the wall
whose gonna catch me if I fall
I'm taking a leap
For a man I can never keep
Mirror mirror on the wall
I'm in to deep
As I sit here I weap
Thinking of all the love
That can never be
We couldnt even kiss
Mirror mirror on the wall,
I'm so sad and blue
My hearts cracked in two
Mirror mirror on the wall
I know I can't have it all

THE FORGOTTEN VETERAN

THE FORGOTTEN VETERAN

A lonely figure walking alone with his thoughts
Carrying memories and pictures in his mind
Of all the faces of those he had fought
Not being able to leave these memories behind

The horrors of war keep coming in his mind’s eye
Not having anyone to share these thoughts with
Thinking of his buddies who could not say goodbye
Of their ultimate sacrifice that they did give

Returning home with no hero welcome
But instead being treated like wartime criminals
Exposed to ridicule and words of venom
Or treated completely like being invisible

Nightmares regularly occurring
Making nights long with very little rest
When suddenly a backfire is a gun firing
Employment possibilities difficult at best

Other illnesses caused by chemicals used
Supposedly as wartime tools
Others ignoring the problem unmoved
Turning their backs on the Vet as a rule

This is the life of many of our Veterans today
Making the future pretty dim and hopeless
Please when you see a Veteran don’t turn away
Thank them and remember - hugs are painless

About this poem:
It is now Memorial Day 2018 - please take time to remember those that "All gave some and Some Gave All" who served/wounded/died defending our Country. 11/2017: Veterans Day - please honor our Vets! In our area we have had 2 or 3 younger Veterans commit suicide in the past 2 weeks. Very upsetting statistics. We need to support the men and women who have given their time and a lot for our protection.

Emptiness

I am as poor as the nature
And as simple as heaven
My freedom is ghostly
Like the voices
Of midnight birds.
I see the breathless moon
And the sky,
Which is deathlier than the canvas;
I accept
Your painful and strange world,
Emptiness!

Silence

When silence is growing
Endlessly
Day by day
It climbs ladder to
Sky
Silence
Takes it's own course of road over
Clouds
With full chest of pain taking deep breath of
Ear
His silence breads in the wind
Like a ghost glimmers on to me
While my words sharpened sword
I am shaking his iron door build of Silence
'Let me in'
As every hour in silence
rising monument
Making wheels of being slow
And sadness lay their eggs
In vain going into my blood
As the music of magic is on the low
Dark verge of life

Does silence seeking wisdom of changes in
Marble?
It works no miracle for us
And yet marble speaks thousand languages
Like club of punishment penetrating
true abandoned breast that dreams for thy warm
of kiss
In silence
Deep inside us - children of love hides
in attic
Weep
With tears who mingles with the river
and the passion - flower runs with them
And when river kiss the ocean
The tide grows more bitter
To make my pains his prey

Silence
Oh how I wish to be your twin sister
Where were you when I need you
To seek balance in my thoughts
When hurt of thousand needles stacked in my heart
Speaks true anger
Regretfully
Because of the Silent land that frozen
Thy kisses
Wishing to recall that touch of a fair face
How spirit mingles in thy eternal spring
Vows of keeping door open to forgiveness
Vows of offered fruit to be every day
Cherished paradise
So long as we can breathe
And never wish to change our state with kings
As to be lost in each other eyes
Awake roses to shine out in fate
of forever love to be our sun of life
in an earthly bed

Oh Silence
How golden you are
In seeking compass to come

And yet you can be full of error
that can make men old and gray
To feel loneliest moments in silence
As grave

Trust

I gave you my heart
I gave you my mind
I gave you my time
I gave you my loyalty
I gave up my dreams
I chose to remain
To be with you
To go through
Our growing pains
My whole life
In your hands
If that isn't trust
I don't know what is!

About this poem:
Most people leave us because they don't think were good enough for them. Most people choose to remain with us because they believe we're worth it. That alone should be enough indication as to where our trust and loyalty should belong. Because it's a tad painful when the ones we love keeps allowing those who chose to leave them mar our present.

Breaking my heart

Today I cried
I've really tried
You won't seek help
You're drowning
Pulling me down with you
I don't want to die
I'm finally starting to feel alive
What did you think
I would do
When you told me
you continue to hurt you
I want to run and hide
I'm scared if I leave you
You will die
How do I get through to you
God knows I've tried
I made you my guy
Seems like all I do is cry
And you won't even try
My heart is breaking everyday
I no longer know what to say
All I can do is pray .

Unheard prayer

Good morning my darling
are you still there laying, waiting for me
heavens" but what am i thinking, where else would you be?
seems lastnight he was needed elsewhere
reasons for again, my unheard prayer.

as i open your curtains i wonder
do you even feel the rays of the sun
how must it feel to be you, my silent quiet one.
what if you were to wake suddenly
me with shaver in hand' would you recognise us both?
heavens heres me again" another day in wonderland.

i'll have to be going now my love
our son is calling tonight
and the beautiful girl he will have with him
is to be his soon to be bride.
the joy' you should be sharing in this
know that i miss you, as i leave you with a kiss.

know, your side of the bed is still empty
with still your pj's under your pillow
just incase a miracle happens
and your returned back to me
the man i love and used to know...

but if not' il pray instead
release him, let his soul be
bring him on home to heaven
unsuffer him... unsuffer me.

About this poem:
once whilst visiting a friend in hospital i watched as a woman sat and chatted with her loved one who was in a coma and had been for many a long years, wondering what it must be like, how hard and difficult it must be is what inspired me to write this poem... thankfully im writing on imagination more so then experience but to you that have, my thoughts go out to you.

Possession

He did not see
That to be me,
I had to be
just free to be
In his desperate fight to have me his
he shredded my wings and emptied me.
My love for him will always be '
Just not the same as his need for me.
Such sadness comes when one holds tight
no air to breath
just possession and fight
To see a butterfly
flutterby
Its graceful beauty
oh so light
In a whisper watch it
poised so still
Freedom to love and freedom to flight
