That Day ...

Once upon a time ...
You were living life just fine.

But, the sky, that day
Was a dark, dreary gray.

Then, in the blink of an eye ...
You became a very different guy.

No fault of your own
You were simply headed home.

A victim of circumstance ...
You really had no chance.

If I had the power to change ...
That day, I would surely rearrange.

Once upon a time, you had it made, everyday.
Then, in the blink of an eye, it was taken away.

Before I Die

That Night
Was so special
Yes , That Night
Was meant to be
I've got the chance
To see Death
Before I break free

I've learned to love and care
And to life I'll dare !
I'll be Stronger then before
I'll be your illness
And I'll be the the cure !

Before I Die !!
I Promise !
I'll Live My life !

JUST BECAUSE(MCDUFF)

Just because iam a woman,
Doesn't mean i'm weak as some men thinks,
This may not rhyme,
but i tell ya'
Im not meek as a lamb.

Just because iam a single mom,
Doesn't mean i won't find a good loving man;
Just because i don,t have any education,
No diploma nor certification;
Don,t judge me cos iam a good person.

JUST BECAUSE IAM WHAT IAM :))

More and less

More and more
I want to keep silence
In response to the said nonsense,
Less and less
I want to scream,
When someone's speech
Is a sheer rudeness.
More and more
The beauty that the nature breathes
Is clearly visible
But less and less
The music is heard
Since no one hears it ...

When The World Falls In

When the world falls in,
You can deny.
When the world falls in,
You can grasp at securities,
The bricks and mortar,
Of belief and self.
The castle of safety,
The certainness of breath.
But when the world falls in,
Pride vanishes,
And a deep chasm appears.
The desert sands,
Consume your soul,
The scaffolding is removed,
And what is left?
The shadow,
Of that gleaming dream,
For which you truly believed.

Winter in my heart...

The bitter ice welcomed me outside
Where it's cold and wet at eventide
Trembling hands saving a crippled heart
Just a drop of crimson blood from anyone
Is warmth that could save my fading life
But unseen, my sighs inaudibly insignificant
In your eyes just a shadow without light
Cast outside naked, blind to the beauty of icicles
For in the darkness of a cold winter's night
Beauty brings no Joy; spirit only matters
As body trembles, wail; my spirit screams
In anguish I beg to be cradled in your warmth
Next to your heart; to be bathe with your charm
Awakening a dormant seed, sprout to evergreen
But alas insignificant I am, out of sight
Frost- bitten toes now blue, fingers too
Bloodless lips crumble and split in two
There's no feeling left; not on nerves or flesh
Light now fading through hollowed
half- closed eyes
Hear my prayer Lord, Please
Hold the Wind! Reign them!
Let this bitter cup of the night pass by
That I may last to see the warm rays of sun
Soon to cocoon my heart;
And your glory
will soon around me cast!

About this poem:
Just realised winter is just around the corner... It reminded me of those cold nights... especially when I was at my lowest....I tried to put it down to paper and I came up with this...

...Moving on..

I really have to go

talking writing words just aint cutting it.

Time is ticking and nothings clicking.

Really grieving so no more words no more talk.

Been dreaming hoping when will it be

Dreaming is for when were asleep

the awakening is the hardest part.

But time is ticking things aint clicking so

moving on to new tomorrow.

Not giving in sitting on the fence.

So crystal clear I am meant to be elsewhere

moving on moving up, so don't give up.

or give in to your sadness or your losses.

Keep moving on and moving up the ladder

and if you fall get back up again.

Time is ticking things just got to be clicking.

So don't be scared please dont you dare.

As this will take you to the road to nowhere.

My words were mere words there nothing without action.

So ladies and gentleman the show must go on

with or without me.

So keep on moving and grooving.

Reality is hard it makes or breaks us its your decision.

Please make the right one.

And never forget to keep having fun.

On The Other Side

Embedded image from another site

The evening view reflects a part of me
Somewhere inside the purple clouds a giant sleeps
As I watch them float across a velvet sky
Colored by darkness fading into neon light
Beyond this horizon is a new sunset
As I stand in the day before with old regrets
It can feel like Im wearing my own atmosphere
With my head way up high above the stratosphere
As my fingers trace perfect circles around the moon
I'm like a moth my soul is drawn to You
Flying around the annulus of electric blue
It's silver lining disconnects my dismal mood
Then it electrifies a dormant life
Awakening the sleeping giants eyes
Once tired from sorrow they fall away like rain
Flooding my world with only dreams of escape
Now I wander through narrow and winding serpent roads
Through flourishing landscapes, valleys, desserts, and groves
Only trusting heavens brightest stars to be my compass wheel
Driven by my blood and pain, my strength and will
In fear I become more than the man that I am
Determination gives my life to God and I say Amen
I swear one day I will make it through to the other side
Beyond this horizon and its pretty neon skies
Captivate me by the grace and beauty of a violet sun
Leaving my darkness behind where this new day has begun

yet another day

I wake by myself in the frost filled dark
As daylight empties into stark
Scathing sun glints cold relief
on life script penned in disbelief.

The lifeless morning treads my way
Nowhere to go, no thing to say
I turn my face from the unseeing crowd
Shrink from relentless celebratory loud

Rumours echo of Christmases full
Turn back to real in the silent lull
Seeing through windows lives of plenty
Move away and return to empty

If on their tree I could hang a dream
A thought of hope in an angel's gleam
only kind would be what will seem
And wishes granted in a happiness beam.

Hurled Words

Your words
like stormy pebbles
hurled at me
cross my other cheek
pierce my side
‘til no longer
a doubting Thomas
am I.

Darts fly.
Bleeding from
the wounds
inflicted
by nails
driven into flesh,
hands
stuck in odd repose
ask, Why?
