~ A Christmas Ring ~

~ A Christmas Ring ~

Wish upon your Christmas Tree

Maybe it will come true

A ring around your Finger

Would it be just right for you?

A Christmas Tree wish for Connecting Singles

Wishing that wish comes true!

Does he know your size and what to say or do

A Christmas ring will bring you happiness

When you hear him say!

Will you be his girl forever, on this Christmas day

Give him love and affection

From your loving heart

~ You will live and love together and never, never part ~

Merry Christmas
Rings on her fingers
Bells on her toes

Will he give her a ring this Christmas
Only heaven knows!

~ Thanksgiving ~

~ Thanksgiving ~

Thanksgiving a day of remembrance
of golden days passed bye

Prayers of Thanksgiving, that your living family
is in good health and prayers for the remembrance of our dead

Memory of the years passed bye and of future one’s of enjoyable times

Aroma of Thanksgiving holiday cooking
floating thru out the house

Saying a Thanksgiving’s prayer,
so that we can dig in to a holiday dinner that’s awaiting us there!

Bountiful turkey surrounded by good people and sumptuous Thanksgiving food!

~ May God Bless every one ~
Amen

High Times

I can smell the wood fires burning
Lighting up the hillside with their smoke
Like so many chimneys on the ridge line
Burning bright hot with seasoned oak
Casting up spires like great castles
Cathedrals with styles most baroque
Warmth is promised in abundance
Whatever your comfort may invoke
We gather round the table for supper
And in great earnest a prayer is spoke
The candles burn throughout the night
Such peaceful purpose they evoke
A mood that burns with a soft glow
Good hearted as our mountain folk

CHOOSE LOVE AND LIGHT

Each earth's journey will always end
We'll miss a loved one or a friend
Why be sad when souls are free?
They're closer to God than you and me.

Hearts are not made of stone and steel
Joy and pain we'll always feel
Happiness and sorrow are so real
Life and pain are a package deal
Choose love and light, a way to heal!

Take Heed

Do be careful my friend
For the enemy is on the prowl
Ready to snatch,to steal
the treasure that's bestowed.........your banquet meal

Be mindful my dear friend
Of the prescense of the peaceful one
His gentle touch,His whisper
And the sweet sweet scent so richly soaked in puritys aroma

Take heed, take care,
discern.
Choose life not death my friend
For both of them are real

I Was Prepared

In the beginning I had my premonition
So I made serious preparation
I knew it from the start
It was a game from the heart

It is a different course in cyberspace
Than when we relate face to face
Pretense is the rule of the game
Sometimes reality evaporates and wanes

I am not shocked or surprised by the silence
Because I have a free conscience
I expect the unexpected each day
So I was prepared for the game to be played

The writing was on the wall
So the unforgiving chips begin to fall
Don't worry;I wish you well
As you move on to the next damsel

In my face, you threw my past
The real you emerge at last
I smiled instead of shed a tear
Because I was prepared

I wrote it to capture the moods of relating to people on a personal level on the internet.I was prepared for the advantages and disadvantages but even outside of cyberspace we have to deal with them.

You

An angel came unto me whilst i slept.
A light sparkling upon a floating snowflake.
Caught between the ticking of a heart beat.
Time stood still like truth.
Like two ships passing each other in the dark foggy night .
From a distant you can hear the horns blaring.
A gambler throws his dice one last time upon the green table,
" snake eyes"! the crowd cries out.
Chances are fleeting moments pressed upon the pages of our fated story.
But love is forever, if it is truly ever found.

WOMAN

Woman personified.
Wonderful and wise, the knowledge of your worth burns brightly in your eyes.
You are. Woman personified.
Outrageous. Outstanding, daring to shed the skin of commonness to become one. Unrivaled, uniquely designed.
But that is who you are. How you always do and always will act because you are Woman personified.
Mother to many yet never birthing them all. Moulded from gold. Magnificent. Yet you are not skin deep as you are Motivated and will not be manipulated to believe the lies constructed by society to enclose you in a group. Making you average. Nothing is average. Not the shape of your lips, your built, your approach, the tone of your skin, not the shade of your eyes.
You are.
Woman personified.
Accepting, Adored, A bottle of fine wine. Rising above those who seek to discredit your value. They don't know what you have is engraved, unchangeable, as constant as time.
You are.
Woman personified.
Natural,Nuturing the garden of our minds. Making us greater as you too become greater.
You are indeed.
Woman personified.

LOVE LINES

If true love will find you someday
Let it just forever stay,
Keep it, don't drive love away
Good feelings inspire your way.

Take a journey together
Earth life is not forever
Make love stay in mind and heart
Light in us can't just depart.

AN AUGUST POEM

With our gifts of lovely sight
The August sun shines brillant light
The soft wind plays lively bright
The pale moon paints a sultry night
A romantic sweet cool delight
With cloudless sky, perfectly right,
For moonbeams' radiance of golden white.
