As long as a mutual love for each other is the foundation, it really makes no difference at all. Love happens be it by chance meetings or by time in anything 'arranged' which at least, by old European standards, can occur through time as both have ample time to become well acquainted. If 'love' doesn't happen, there is no marriage except by mutual advantage by both parties consenting as some do, which personally, I'd avoid as one party would invariably suffer emotionally at some point, and to hurt the other person by design or not, you can lose a very dear friend if it had been 'arranged' by the parents when both were young, despite all their seemingly good intentions. Arranged marriages are not for everyone and sometimes that goes for any marriage by the types of people. Some people are better off never getting married.

Life is full of absurdities; from the amusing to the outrageous and how we respond to them depends on our levels of cynicism. The unexpected are a rare event and if we are left to our own devices, we can deal with most scenarios, both constructively and with imaginative humour...have you ever written to a scammer telling them of all the medical problems that you or/ and your family are having and that perhaps they could turn their talents toward supplying you with sufficient funds to meet all those medical bills for the several family members that you so love but are stranded in impoverished broken down hospitals waiting for transplants, additions or removal of limbs throughtout various countries in Africa abd Eastern Europe and not being able to have any meaningful dates in the meantime...It is a wonderfully creative experience to write scammers asking them to send you money, und schnell!

Would you really expect a letter asking "u r how?" or ' wanna meet for some un-fun'; ie. something not funny; serious/or tragic? How realistic would that be? Not very, and that takes the 'fun' out of it. doesn't it
What these demented personalities are really saying is that they wish to inflict themselves upon you, me, everyone here and that we should all be flattered. I beg to differ, but I do find their juvenile approaches rather pitiful and hilarious at the same time...ahhh, the benefits of split personalities...

I'm surprised that no one as yet are claiming it is all a huge hoax at best or another nefarious plot by extremists of that ever elusive 'elite' that governs you from some dark place in your minds that usually is kept busy conjuring up concentration camps and secret laws being passed by the hour for your coming (un) civil war...
There really should be mandatory drug testing of everyone and anyone in the country that believes in any of this...

No revolution in this day could hope for any success without their country's military and the majority of its commanders. So far only one country "in modern times" has dared to nearly go all the way and that was France over the giving up of Algeria. People should read just how close it actually came and more importantly, just what was done by the Govt. to stop it from spreading. Far too many stood on the sidelines watching to see how other commanders reacted when the first mutinies occurred, starting with the famed Second Regiment of the Foreign Legion Paras...The vast majority of the people would have gone with the military had they all turned against De Gaulle. Crowds even gathered all over Paris to wait for the first wave of Paras to come in from the Legion and other units...

Despite all the memories of the adults ridiculing Eisenhower, I think he delivered the greatest farewell address yet of anyone in the US govt. The video "Why We Fight" a film by Eugene Jarecki on Eisenhower is absolutely fantastic; so true in regards to the quote,"It is nowhere written that the American Empire goes on forever." Shame we didn't have that during US Govt. classes in the 60's.

Over the years, I've been at a lot of funerals, some of the 'unusual songs' asked for by the deceased to be played were: A New Life; The Way You Look Tonight; Give Me Forever;Make Someone Happy; Forever and Ever, Amen; Follow Me...Grow Old With Me; Better Luck Next Time Remember Me This Way...A few were really strange requests,
some were funny, but hey, it was their funeral, not mine. I like the title of the song, Let's Face The Music and Dance...
