My new webpage

I've decided to start a new webpage to help others save money.
It's called, 'Hey, go fund yourself !' laugh

Members can deposit money following a repeated schedule,
or haphazardly, as they likely are used to. laugh
An account manager will routinely email you reminders to make deposits at intervals the member decides,
unless they choose 'haphazard' deposits. very mad
The member will establish a goal $ amount of the savings.

Once the member reaches their goal amount, they can withdrawl part or all of the money, their choice.
But, not before. scold

Their account will be titled 'savings for _______'. (fill in the blank for intended use of the accumulated money).

There will be no account fees, UNLESS the member does not make timely deposits at intervals they sign up for,
or if they choose haphazard intervals.
Then the account fees will only be 1% of the total in the account per year up to $100 per year..

The account is not transferable. So, once you reach your goal, it is advisable to cash out
and enjoy your achievement.. peace

What would be your account purpose and goal amount and what amount would you like to deposit at what intervals ?

Hey ! Go fund yourself. tongue laugh

Reach out to me...

"Reach out to me" is the catch-phrase that replaced the old "Let's touch base"
LTB is already on my list of pet peeves for being over used.
The phrase "Call me sometime" must have died and gone to heaven.

It doesn't take long before I start mimicking people who constantly repeat themselves. I had a customer who repeated herself at least 3 times per conversation. I'm not sure if it's for her benefit or mine. Maybe she's trying to 'reach out to me.'

My brother used to say "Don't be so redundant" a lot and that always brought a smile... until I heard it a thousand times and shouted back... "Don't be so redundant"
Surely I was reaching out to him on that !!

I assigned a project to a general contractor to remove an old kitchen so I can install the new one and our meeting went smoothly on our first project together. As we were leaving, we thanked the client for his time and indicated we need a week or so to gather our information to present a final proposal.
With a smile on his face, the client replied... "Good, have your people call my people... "

British Sitcoms

I love a good British sitcom. thumbs up

Some of my favorites included;

Fawlty Towers;

My Family;

and relevant to this blog;

Yes Minister and later Yes Prime Minister

Well, today on DVD I got the complete collection of Yes Minister.
While I probably have seen at least most of the episodes on PBS,
I haven't in many years.
so, it will be fun to re-visit the series. head banger

Are You Listening, Borty??

Once upon a time, on another, er, permissive website, a character who professed to a certain fetish posted occasionally, sharing his travels and travails with a somewhat captive audience. Just out of curiosity, I did a quick web search, and found this article:

The old boy always has something interesting to say. I wonder if he might be lurking about?? nerd

"Love is all you need"...

"Love, love, love.
Love is all you need."

Well, that's assuming you have enough air to breathe.
Because without that, your love is not going to last too long at all.

Of course, if you can't get water at some point, you won't last very long without that either.

Food is important too. You do need that. I recommend 3 good meals a day.

A reliable source of income is a biggie. Because no honey without the money.
Women like being 'comfortable' and being provided for.

Shelter is important. Where the heck are you going to spend time with your love.

Time too. If you don't have enough time to give the gal appropriate attention, someone else will.

Come to think of it, love might have been the thing that consumed the majority of your life.
Many relationships with someone who sucked you away from what you enjoyed, while you had to
watch stupid sappy TV shows like The Batchelor, spend hours in shoe stores, or spend time with her family, full of jealous women trying to talk her out of staying with you, or worse, hitting on you.
The dirty looks, the arguments, "what's wrong honey ?" "NOTHING !" the accusations, the jealousy, the arguments, break-ups, losing half your possessions AGAIN, alimony.

Maybe love isn't all you need. dunno

Where's that blog about friends with benefits ?

MA AND THE OUTHOUSE

Ma was in the kitchen fiddling around when she hollers out,
"Pa! You need to go out and fix the outhouse!"
Pa replies, "There ain't nuthin wrong with the outhouse."
Ma yells back, "Yes there is, now git out there and fix it."
So Pa mosies out to the outhouse, looks around and yells back,
"Ma! There ain't nuthin wrong with the outhouse!"
"Ma replies, "Stick yur head in the hole!"
Pa yells back, "I ain't stickin my head in that hole!
"Ma says, "Ya have to stick yur head in the hole to see what to fix."
So with that, Pa sticks his head in the hole, looks around and yells back,
"Ma! There ain't nuthin wrong with this outhouse!"
Ma hollers back, "Now take your head out of the hole!"
Pa proceeds to pull his head out of the hole, then starts yelling,
"Ma! Help! My beard is stuck in the cracks in the toilet seat!"
Ma hollers "Brings tears to yur eyes don't it Pa"!laugh

Weekend for a Threesom

Get your minds out of the gutter -- while mine floats by.

I have a dog, recently I got another dog both girls. Tonight my daughter will drop off her little boy doggie for the weekend while she parties with her friends celebrating their 35 year reunion.

Threesomes are all they are cracked up to be.
