.......a closer look;

Borrowed a Dehumidifier and made the mistake of leaving it on overnight

Woke up this morning with dry eyeballs and so thirsty I could have sucked the scrotum of a sweaty camel

The tank contained 3 litres of liquid and as the average adults body is 60% water I think all that fluid was me.

I have not regained enough strength to weigh myself but should I be worried

I pondered my next business move and with all that blogging about Koncubine or whatever that brewed tea is called. I have an empty house in Miami that would be perfect for converting into a mini brewery. It wouldn't surprise me if one of my neighbors had a meth lab... so brewing alcoholic beverages (in a spare bedroom) should be a 'piece of cake'

I saw my accountant yesterday and she said it's totally feasible to open a new business like this. My overhead is low.

Business names are racing through my head. I've got a bunch of sticky notes with company names and the best I've come up with on short notice is:
Ginu Spirits Company GSC for short. My first product will be called Ginu Wine!

(note to self: contact the state of Florida and incorporate)

I can see it now... radio commercials and TV commercials.
People will be asking "Where can I buy some Ginu Wine?"

My grandfather had a forest of ear hair times 2. Unlike him I seem to have gotten an overabundance of nose hair that requires trimming every few weeks. If I don't and I breathe real hard I can feel it rustling like leaves in the wind!

April Fools day has become extraordinary for one unexpected reason - it is now the only day of the year that people query news items on the internet before accepting them as true



So, a supermarket chain announced a new app that will let you taste-test products by licking your phone

Another app, the phone-home which lets you not only talk to your plants, but they can let you know if they need more water / light / air

Dipping hot chillis in chocolate and offering them to your kiddies as chocolate-covered strawberries

The usual numpties phoning the emergency services to report an emergency oh ha ha

Seems to have been a quiet one this year, anyone hear of a good one?

I am wallpapering stairs (no, I really am) so shall be popping in and out. That is if I can unstick myself from my keyboard this time.

Border Collie – just one, and then I’ll replace any wiring that isn’t up to code
German Shepherd – I’ll change it as soon as I’ve escorted everyone from the dark and checked to make sure no-one is still inside, or has taken advantage of the situation
Labrador – oh, me me me! Pleeeeeeze let me! Can I? Can I? Huh? Huh? Oh pleeeeeze please please please please!
Australian Shepherd – first let me put all the light bulbs in a circle
Jack Russell – sure, I’ll pop it in while I’m bouncing off the walls and furniture
Pointer – I see it, there it is, right there
Greyhound – it isn’t moving, who cares?
Rottweiler – make me
Dachshund – you know I can’t reach that stupid lamp!
Golden Retriever – the sun is shining, the day is young, we’ve our whole lives in front of us, and you’re inside worrying about a stupid burned-out bulb?
Poodle – I’ll just blow in the Border Collie’s ear and he’ll do it. By the time he finishes rewiring the house, my nails will be dry

The cat – dogs do not change light bulbs. People change light bulbs. How long before I can expect light, dinner, and a massage?

(Not my own, but it made me laugh and I found one or two personalities oddly familiar)

Its a court date but its a date and I'm dressing up

Sometimes I get cranky from my routine life...doing same things over and over again...worse part is when something else complicates that routine and make it worse. Despite all of these tiresome, depressing, irritating and heartbreaking things to deal with, I won't give up my imperfect life...won't mind taking a short break though. Without the lows and downs I could never fully appreciate the highs and ups.

Time will come for all of us, time when we have to stop working, time to let our children have their own life, time to let all broken hearts healed, etc. Many of us will end up alone...I've never felt so alone yet but I can imagine what it would be like .

What if CS offers us a retirement home, in an island. Everything we need, want, whims will be provided for free. Fantastic weather, a home that provides royal treatments...including massage, advanced medical facilities, great night life and entertainment.

Will you sign up and give up the life you are living now?

If you we have to contribute to make this island fun to live in , what could/would you do ? I mean what services can you offer...volunteer?
