Is this whole feminist movement good for men.

I mean....some women didn't know how good they had it.

and...

some men didn't know how bad they had it.

I think it's more to do with women knowing how bad they had it, rather than not knowing how good they had it, Johnny.
Johnny you are obsessed by this subject laugh

Are all American women young and beautiful? Or do they come in all shapes sizes and ages?

There's no such creature as a one-size-fits-all feminist. They range from women who hate and despise all men to women who want their man to rely on them as much as they can rely on their man - equal partners shoulder to shoulder, supporting each other against the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. So bad?
Harb...very true...it could be that way also.

Like was mentioned...some...

There was a woman just the other night bragging how she likes to mess with men's emotions.

dunno

But, I would like to say away from a woman like that.

How many women are out there like that....I would suspect more than just her.
I have always provided for myself, so i think it has been good.

Now if any (good) man wants to love, compromise, protect, support, and be happy with me, then i think i'll accept the change. banana

Happy Tuesday to you too. handshake
She's

not

a

feminist
Viv...yes, I have covered this topic a few times in the past.

But...just thinking about Palm's blog with Asian ladies...it has made me realize...or believe....a new angle on feminism.

That is what this blog is about...

How feminism makes nastiness in women shine.

That is my opinion.

Let's discuss it.

Yes Johnny, let's believe in fairy tales like ALL men are saints. roll eyes

Again, feminism is about gender equality. It has nothing to do with PEOPLE having a bad character.

There are bad people of both genders out there. I have met bad men but don't feel the need to constantly bash all men because of that.

And most definitely I wouldn't try to have any problems with men having the same right and same chances as women in the world.
Johnny, i'm always a LADY. laugh
Pick any issue you like, Johnny, and there will be people with extreme views on it. The stuff that gets on the news or in the papers gets there because it is out of the ordinary. Commonplace, everyday events don't make very interesting viewing or reading. I don't know what it's like where you live, but when I go out into the world each day, I am always struck by how few raving feminists I come across.
Not all men are s'aint's .. I beg your pardon. innocent

Hello Johnny,I can understand wanting equal rights as far as certain things go but all the rest of the things I spoke about months go I don't believe in.
Mr sparton…All the feminists will always…get the feminist hand book of lies out and begin to read….The same repetitive and deceptive word…Equality…but they don’t mean equal opportunity…no..no…they mean equal outcome…yes…yes…How do they get the equal outcome…you may wonder? The answer is easy…By holding men back and gift wrapping job opportunities to women…via diversity quotas…yes they cancel out most male candidates and short list mostly women…of course…so companies…will be more woke…than others…but most will cower down to the feminist mob…cause they have so much political power
Whaaaaaat???rolling on the floor laughing

Johnny, I don't think feminist movement has done any good for men. Especially for you. rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
Add Lee Charming too. grin

Hey usha, I have to say it, they have just put themselves out there like a piece of corn on the cob, just to get chewed on...rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
Sorry johnny, sorry lee. had to say it...grin
Robert I changed a couple of words to your song
Larry, I know Johnny is a very nice man and he doesn't take anything I say seriously.

I know his blogs on this topic is not a real insight for the man who he is. He is a good, fun loving, outgoing, decent and an honourable person. I just like to mock him. laugh

Is feminism about equality. If it is, then it must be good for men. A society based on equality has to be good for everyone, no? Inequality is based on money, assets. The breadwinner always got fed first, the biggest plate.
I agree Harb...life is not just black and white...there are many shades in between.

Just like the frog that jumps into the room temperature water...and stays as it slowly heats and boils itself to death.

wave
laugh I agree Robert...I am not sure I have heard of one female saint.

hmmm
Lee, is that you?

laugh
Thank you Bear....I agree with equality too. Especially with the things that should be equal.

I think you are right Usha....about me and Lee. rolling on the floor laughing
M4...indeed. thumbs up

But some men get tricked by a woman's beauty only to find themselves trapped under her heal with a missing soul. laugh

Well...a little drama there, but...

Well Larry....sometimes things need to get said that sometimes don't. If that entails being chewed on like a cob of corn...well. popcorn ...for all. laugh

I never knew that about you Usha....mocking me. help laugh

Johnny,

you just ruined my appetite for a chocolate soft serve ice cream on a cone, I was thinking of eating.
Forget it now! doh
I have been here for a long time,(longer than many) but I have also been gone for a long time, many new people here, but I DO know what you mean..laugh cheers
And the feels-based sense of equality makes a mockery of social justice. A spoilt rich girl can feel more hard done to than a starving family and this leads to feminists lecturing people in poverty about privilege. You're only the victim that you feel you are meant that the elites could feign a hard life, and this hard life feigned has eclipsed the conversation around all our real problems.
And they're related. The fact that women don't want to marry men who make less money then they do is part of the reason why the elites and sub-elites speak a completely different language to the people, and it's partly the reason little the elite and sub-elite have little perspective on what a real problem is. What a woman isn't is familiar with people from all walks of life, what the rise of women represent is a great narrowing in the number and type of people you will trust and relate to.
A narrowing that comes with depth. Society in general doesn't exist but you do have a deeper personal relationship within your own milieu. Effectively personal problems are doubled and your vision of the outside world is halved under the influence of women. The closely-knit replace the broad and shallow networks of society and you're left with is situation of trying to make society revolve around an individual or small group. Women will try to make a rule out of the exception until mass society becomes ungovernable, it's her prerogative.
The last one isn't just the women I think the attitude of a paying customer creates a broad sense of the woman's prerogative in both women and men. Money is itself entitled the prosperity of society can only bring men closer to women in their attitude to life and each other. Customer is always right/the woman's prerogative are obviously not democratic or liberal in any real sense of that word.
C.C....very deep perspective...it is well worth reading carefully.

Thank you for taking the time to share it.
