Cheers...

I thank you all for your insightful comments, but these words of mine are a reflection of a souls torment, its taken a long time to get to a light but now I'm here the end is no longer in sight, my dark place was beautiful for me as it showed me the truth beyond all the bullshit we sometimes choose to see, I could indeed put my blinkers on and not acknowledge my pasts song, but everything I am is important for a reason as to ignore it would be equivalent of personal treason, I'm not as dark and bitter as my words express but the importance of my experiences I cannot stress.
So I move onwards confident in my new version stll the same in many ways I'm sorry if some have an aversion to the raw truth I sometimes impose so I shall continue to share these thoughts into words now composed, oneday we all will know such truth lifting our heads looking beyond our own roofs, that prevent many from coming to the fore chringing and hiding behind closed doors, we all hold the keys in this life come on lets have a laugh forget the strife...

The Great Master

As I wandered in Wordsworth's foot steps
stared in fascination at his cottage
and wondered at the simple life he led
I felt very honoured and privileged.

What an awe inspiring spot to live
the craggy wild hills keeping sentry
I had to go back in my mind to his time
and remember there were no cars or buses.

Such a blissful place with inspiration
flowing all around as the lake nestles
so serenely below the towering spire
which keeps watch over his resting place.

I wish that I could have sat at his feet
my poetic journey would then be complete.

Am I Alone?

When waves of mortality crash down
and misery becomes a militant march
crashing about your mind and soul,

When you hang suspended
in the depth of just not caring
Just too much, too many!
know I strain against your chains
unable to remove them without you.

Yet reach to me.

Reach with all you’re given.
Past all that would take away.
know that I too, see and hear and cry…
and that I bleed for each tear you shed.

In the darkness of unknowing
in the pain of being certain
As your voice of a thousand lifetimes whispers
a final desperate plea into the void,

One last time…

For what could be,
For who you truly are…

reach out

Call just once more.
I will echo.
And in that moment,
you will know that I am Love…
and ever beside you.

I Dreamed I Was Dying Last Night

I dreamed I was dying last night,
Making will for my son by my side.
I was seeing as whole what were once
Just some trivial sights for my eyes.
Little bird with its wings my brow fanned,
Sun set down behind hills to have rest,
Neither pain did I feel of some kind,
Neither vision or mist covered eyes,
Neither sleepiness weighed down my head,
Neither sorry was I for my self.
But I felt I could cry outloud:
- Wait, oh day, cut not short, please, my life!
And I worried: they mourned my demise,
Boy, I thought, what a shame, do not die!
Thus in deference such and distrust
Was supposed I to take leave of life.
While I watched people standing in rows
How I wished to get right to their thoughts!
Saw that friends same as foes thought me high,
Grown up men and a child wept alike…
As I dreamed I was dying last night
Death crept up to my bed, woke me up.

The Trumpet Angel

'Stay your hand!,oh mighty Angel
For wisdom falls on a dry land'
A land, where mortals strut and
strain against the winds of time..
Mere clay that stands errect and
shakes his fists at the heavens, and
curses as though diety was his debtor..
Yet stay your hand Trumpet Angel..hold
back the the four winds of destruction!
Man who will drink the full measure of
his violence may yet repent..
He will slaughter..He will kill, and
innocent blood his drink of desire..
Oh, that he turns his eyes towards
trancendent rays of divine light..
Oh, that the that truth would burn
through the blackness of the abyss..
The earth groans within itself, and the
sun yearns for the morning star..
But look to the heavens oh man..
For there stands an Angel on the
precipice of time with outstretched arm..
And with the voice of Eternity utters this
warning..
'Take heed ye inhabitants of the earth''
That for every falling star, and for every
passing shadow shall be a strike of the clock,
and a reminder that man who chases a foolish
vanity shall once again..become dust, and all
dust shall be gathered for judgement!

Water

Pure life..energy flowing
Borned life..keep growing
Land of imensity
Never ends creates eternity.

Appreciation needs
More than a blackgold deeds
Life cannot live without
The Earth is surrounded.

Energy is given
With wind and water
Sweet and salty
All of it....Matter.

Paradise Mocks…

Some decades ago that I found himself on island of Mauritius, at an all-time nadir in my quest for Paradise, the only quest that gives meaning to my existence. Sometimes, I feel that whenever I leave the confines of my current personal reality, I become as a ‘time-traveler’, entering the Quantum field of infinite possibilities that I can then choose from to create a new personal reality. Paradoxically, I was scheduled to deliver several messages of ‘inspiration’ to the group that had gathered from all over the world to hear me and another weather-beaten sage several decades older than me, Will, by name. I, hugely embarrassed, went to my mentor, Will to confess my deep disappointment and depression with life and ask for help, not expecting anything miraculous!
Will took me to a nearby island for a beer and a chat. As we sat shoulder-to-shoulder, with our backs against a huge palm tree, we surveyed the scene before us. Beautiful young women were parading around in the nude and cavorting in the waves of the Indian Ocean as they lapped the tiny tropical island. The sun, clothed us with a thin sheen of perspiration. Although, ‘wily-ol’ Will confessed later that he enjoyed the magnificent array of breasts flashing in and out of his field of vision, I was way too deep into the abyss of despair to notice. Only God knows why, but Will decided to relate the following true-life experience to me. Will was much younger then and found himself a soldier in the Korean war. He and a fellow-soldier were in the depths of the ocean with oxygen tanks on their backs. Suddenly, Will’s fellow-soldier was in trouble, his oxygen tank stopped functioning. He signaled Will and they immediately began the ‘buddy’ breathing system, taking turns to take in oxygen from Will’s tank as they started making their way to the surface which was a frighteningly long-way away! Will soon realized that they would never make it! He also very much doubted that if he sacrificed the oxygen tank to his friend, his own chances for reaching the surface with one long breath were very slim indeed! Nevertheless, Will decided on just that course of action. He described to me how that he started his ‘impossible’ journey and swam ‘like-hell’ for the surface. He related that after what seemed like an eternity and his lungs were about to ‘explode’, he felt himself propelled out of the deep and onto the shore as if he had ‘reverse-dived’ out of the ocean! He lay there panting and breathing extremely heavily for half an hour before he began to recover and regain his composure. By this time in the tale, our beer was finished, the sun was bidding us adieu and we got up and caught the boat to our hotel wordlessly, both of us deep in thought. Will's strategy to distract me worked, it pulled me out of my deep funk. I said to myself:-I will in faith go on, putting myself in the Infinite’s hands, even if it kills me!

WITNESS

Drivel or epiphany,
Story and verse,
Short and long,
Benign and perverse,
Genius and banality,
Some quite awful,
Some of quality,
Life, peace, zen,
Instrument of witness,
My papermate pen.

The Journey

Carried away upon a whispy breeze
Destination unknown as time will freeze

This way and that, my mind starts to wander
On beautiful days, and the journey I now ponder

The mysteries before me start to unfold
Sights all around, blurring into colors so bold

Lifes great tapestry laid out behind me
What lies ahead, I am so anxious to see

A journey of grand proportions have I set
When I'll be back, no sure plans as of yet

Around the world to up-turn every stone
See every sight, hear every sound, seeds are sown

The journey is the tree, the journey is the fruit
Life and experience, in all things is the loot
