Unbreakable

Frost weighs heavily atop the firs
Its branches folding beneath
Although taut, they hold steady
Unwilling to break
They remain steadfast

The dawn peeks over the horizon
Though distant
Its warmth will shine upon the icy, unending
Heaviness
The frost shall loosen itself
And melt the heaviness away

Whereas the fir regains its proud stance
It stands taller after the frost
Declaring its refusal to be broken
It shall remain strong with its roots of...
Never backing down.

About this poem:
I had gotten a message very early one morning from a friend who was struggling at work. I wanted to write something to provide inner strength. I wrote this in under 5 minutes to get it to them as soon as possible. They thanked me for the inspiration later on that day. I enjoy writing. I enjoy being there for the people in my life, even if it's just with my creative writing.

Raqs Sharqi – Eastern Dance

Embedded image from another site

Beautiful women make entrance to the tent
Turkish, Armenian, Egyptian and Arab decent
Donned in ancient amulets and scarabs
Dark and lovely like luscious sweet carob
Adorned from head down to bare feet
Jewelry tinkling like prisms strung in pieces
Mysterious beneath sheer shimmering veils
Swirling upon soft patterned carpets
Imagery dipped in honey like serendipity
Their eyes are shadows in glimmering candlelight
Women dance with each other in private erotic play
Powerful with meaning lasting late into the night
Enticing visual mysteries in synchronicity
Moving and rehearsing in abandoned harmony
While rounded breasts jiggle and bellies sway
The air is fragrant with perfumed oils and incense
Intoxicating they deliver vibrations of secret passions
Leading to the climax they hold in mesmerizing suspense
Sensual stories told through their bodies and graceful hands
Acting out dreams of lovemaking with husbands to be one day
Eastern dance is about love's imagery learning passion and play
A way of communicating through emotions deep within body and soul
Their dancing and moving is practice for love’s erotic pleasure
For Eastern women the dance is meant to keep their marriage happy

I took my thoughts to the edge of the sea..Part II

It was now time for the frivolous gulls to play with my thoughts,
They put on a phantasmagoric display of irreverence as they laughed at my insecurities,
Scorned my lack of faith,
And generally heaped great insults at my penchant for taking life way too seriously,
Well, what else could one expect from gulls...???

Next it was a hapless sand dollar’s turn to be presented with my thoughts,
The poor thing gasped and nearly fainted from the weight,
‘Help,’ it croaked as it pleaded for the Surf to claim it back and send it on a long furlough...

Next a group of Dolphins came to sport with me,
‘Hello, what have we here? A human’s thoughts, hhhmmm’, was the only sound that emanated from them as they studied my writings in the sand,
‘We shall convene a council and let you know our recommendations dear Surf, bye for now...’ as they dove beneath the waves gracefully...

Suddenly, I heard a great roar and a frightful gale overcame the placid sea,
As Poseidon himself rose in all his splendour from the immense depths,
‘Who dares disturb me’, he thundered as the sun was blackened and ten tempests arose simultaneously, to dance and cavort and to pay homage to their grand master,
Thunder and lightning joined in the awe-full array,
Almost wetting myself from fear, I meekly pointed to my thoughts in the sand,
‘Harrumph’, came from his throat as he studied the writing,
‘You’ll have my input anon’, he growled as he sank into his beloved waters’ nether parts...

Well, I waited breathlessly,
As the great and kind and gentle Seer prepared herself to give me some feedback...

‘Do not mind what happens to you...’, she intoned as she politely bade me farewell...

TO MY TEACHER

DEAR MR. DAVE ,WHATEVER I HAVE BEEN WRITING ,READING OR FEELING THROUGH THIS SITE ITS OWN TO YOU.YOU ARE THE MASTER OF THE MASTERS AS YOU ALWAYS(someone said is not a valid word)/for me it is/;ENCOURAGE FOR COMPASION.I HAVE LEARNT GOOD THINGS AND BAD TOO,MOST OF BAD FROM DIRT OF STREET BUT MOST OF THE GOOD FROM YOU.
I AM DEEPLY GREATFUL TO YOU AND TO MANY POETS WHO VERY OFTEN UNDERSTOOD ME.FORGIVE ME I WILL NOT POST NAMES AFRAID TO BE I WILL FORGET ONE AND THAT IS NOT FAIR AND MORE UNFAIR FOR THE REST OF POETS..
I ALWAYS BELIEVE FOR A POET,POETRY IS THE ABSOLUTE SUBLIME ;BUT NOW..AFTER THESE DAYS I CAN TELL AND PLEASE ALLOWED THAT "POETRY IS A PERSONAL VENDETTA" AND HAS A SECOND NAME"HATE" .IT IS A GAME FOR MOST AND IF IT WAS FOR ME TOO I WOULDN'T CHOOSE TO BE A WINNER.
I LOVE ANIMALS NOT ONLY BECAUSE THEY ARE A ENDLESS SURSE OF FOOD ,MATERIAL FACTS OR ENERGY...I LOVE THEM BECAUSE WE KILL THEM AND THEY DON'T REVENGE BACK.MAYBE" THEY SHOULD
HUMANS KILL SPIRITS,LIFES , HUMAN LIFES TOO AND WHAT THEY GIVE BACK?..NOTHING!!EVEN MORE THEY WANT TO BE PLEASED.SUCH DEMANDS ARE -FORGIVE ME-REALLY PATHETIC.
IF THIS IS POETRY=LIFE;LIFE WILL BE A BIG MISUNDERSTANDING SO WE MUST BE ALL DEAD.
I WRITE THIS BECAUSE I NEED MY SILENCE AND YOU CAN MAKE THAT POSSIBLE
END.

How to...

We do not live in the past:

The past no longer exist- except as a memory.

We do not live in the future:

The future exists not yet- except as a dream.

We live in the present-

And what else is the present but a fleeting moment...

Remember the past.

Live in the present.

That way, there will be a future...

May I come in?

I've got 5 on it
Is not that song..it is my unit
And gives theese words..you can feel it
Emotions are..i think..just do it
One day black,one day white
Doesn't pass without a bite
I hope not ..this time
I don't want to be a lime
And i kiss your beautiful clime
Belivers and friends
Sorry,i dissapoint with my lack of words
And you my dear, and you my teacher
You're kind,and you're future
Please don't be sad,don't be a mad
Who is who and what is what
I refuse to be a loud,a bad
You onesty is respect
For me
Even when i don't reflect
Ignorance can be a deffect
And you my mama ,many sorry for drama
I was here in the backyard with valderamma
Write your colour,don't turn back
Your brightness is mean luck
For me
No intention for games,no lie
I say it once is not my style
But silence, might be silly...let me to sly
In my life, sometimes, helpt me to fly
I don't know
Now i release my blow
You decide about the show

Xmas

Stroll beneath heavens fiery vault
in the dry timbered creeks
in meadows parched so long
rise high these wisps of clouds
that know not the blessings
of leafy shaded green
Xmas will become you

Lost symphonies adorn the alleyways
Idle chords languid in the floral air
laughter alight from opened windows
amble in the streets and lanes
hand in hand
the world has planned
for Xmas to become you

Kiss of hands

Embedded image from another site

Did you hear about kisses of hands?
So there is a wish to whisper to You about it
They kiss, through piercing with light,
Squeeze a breast delight of sweet torments …

When you run a finger, slowly
In the area of her short life
Will respond a palm, slightly breathing
Her soul on these hands letters …

Kiss hands devoutly and passionately.
her breath and hearts knock.
And every moment it is fine
In embraces of the kissing hands …

Did you hear about kisses of hands?
They can't be silly and rough.
So the first beam sticks into the sky of a lip,
So begins stories about "suddenly"

From the dust

From the dust I came
and will rise again
reborn and reformed,
new ground to regain

To the dust
life sends me
in is trial and pain,
tough my spirit is bruised
it is not slain

In the dust
some see me
as yesterday's man,
but the mind of experience
has a master plan

Blow the dust aside
a new dawn is here
a new man discovered
for all to revere.
