Trusting This Journey

In the heat of the night
Where all about they pout the mouth n they stress n a fight
Egoistic vibrations are their delight
Where the ills n bills they keepa blocking out the light
That's ok
Kool
That's alright
Just more fuel to make this fire ignite
Take on that darkness with all its negativity
Harness n churn to the power of 1ne inside of me
Breathe forth a magikal frequency
And frequently affecting infecting all I see n don't see
Far from me to tell any1ne how to be
Respectfully being the change I wanna see
With tranquility integrity humility
A passion n purpose for humane humanity
Strike that jealous malice vanity
The blind judgement n unnecessary profanity
Oooooo yeeeaaaahhhh
I do like to swear
Cursewords or sentence enhancers
Wisdom through literature turn the tongue to a dancer
I'm a chancer
Cos he who dares wins
He whom seeks their highest joy always grins
Lifes stresses take them on the chin
Cos every end is just another beginning
So you see we never lose always winning
Why waste time
Fuss moan n whine
The more ya fuss
And cuss
The more negativity ya create in your flow for tomorrow
Just
Pause
Breeeaaaaaathe
It's ok to fuss but keep that shizzle hollow
And then borrow
Some me time
To manifest that blessed again
That joy again
That smile imprint back on the face.
Next test arrive n I'm on the case
Always trusting in this journey
Whether it scald or burn me
Lest we forget
The mission n the plight
Never ever fret
Cos out of darkness there must come light

Green Mussels

Yesterday I collected a bucket of mussels
from the rocks in the waist deep wash
while the fisherman looked on
from his rock
we cooked them on a camp gas cooker
with beer
sitting deck-chaired in the dunes
while the sun met the sea
the fisherman passed by
with a bountiful catch
we smiled
then up came the moon for a total eclipse
going orange like a mighty planet
nature was really working its miracles
just like Van Morrison said
When it's not always raining there'll be days like this
When there's no one complaining there'll be days like this
When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch
Well my mama told me there'll be days like this

Time to ponder!

The new age is now, fanciful thoughts lost, memories gone, born anew,
all of the past never meant to last, new you maybe, we will see.

Meditation

Meditation
Pick A Station
Read G-d's Words >
Repeat Daily
No Deviation
Resist Temptation
No Time To Communicate
With The Sovereign G-d Of This Universe ???
Just > Do > It
Excuses Are Simply Excuses !!!
Some More 'Valid' Than Others
But Still Excuses !!!
Make Time For Exploration ...
It Takes Dedication >
When You Read > G-d Will Come
Stay In Tune >
Underline, Reread, Memorize
A Favorite Quotation ?
Contemplation
A 2-Two Way Oration >
This Communication
Be Still And Listen Quietly
And Sense His Subtle Suggestion
The Holy Spirit Will Drive It To Your Heart >
Receive Daily Direction
And Inspiration ...
Activation Vibration

follow your heart

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

Follow
follow the path
who knows
where it leads

to different
fields of green
somewhere out there

follow
follow your heart
listen inside
hear your inner voice

all around thundering sounds
people rushing all about
lots of noise
lots of haste
in a crazy race to somewhere

follow
follow your heart
its the only way
for people today

if you have faith to believe
if you can simply receive
listen as little Samuel did
in the house of God

there is a hidden voice
longing to be heard
as angels echo
follow your heart
in everything.

perennial hope

it never pleased me
to see you in pain, you said
yet your keen ability
to dissect the past
and bare its ugliness
never ceased to amaze me
and I wonder if:
the dysfunction of my past
the failures I have been so good at
my imperfections
my irresistible magnetism
to the misfits,
the poor and the lowly
was truly the core of your attraction
from me? I kind of think,
of course, it is, what else can it be?
my ruthless efficiency?
in exposing the illness
of this one sick and cruel world?
the callousness our society has become?
and its penchant for wastefulness?
insensitivity and selfishness?
ahhh...if only you see my horror
feel my pain and sorrow
as I ponder all these ifs, and would have,
and should have
but I am not giving up...
NO!
how can I
there is so much fighting spirit in me
and perennial hope
for what is good in man
in all of us
including you....
so let us start
cleaning up our acts
shall we?

TWISTED WILLOW IN THE BREEZE

TWISTED WILLOW IN THE BREEZE

Twisted Willow bending In The Winds
Magic Wand Branches Birds come and Sing
Listless Newbiez Come By Take Up Home
Willows Twist Welcomes The leaves Aren't Alone

Air Brush Movements Feather Dust Seeps Play
Harmonies Quiver the long Road ways
Sun slips Angel Eyes a brightened Young Beak
Shades of colors do come Open To Speak

Warming Feather Tops The twists hold per Chance
The Roots Go so deep all come By to take Glance
Water oh Water So much Willow Needs
Droppings of Seeds Spread Good Butterfly Deeds

Eyes of so many bright dim Colorful Sheen
The Willow Tree bends In the Winds of Our Means
Means to an End Ends To Our means
Come Sing In the Willow Tree

Twisted Willow In The Breeze

The man I wanted to be

I look inside me,
Trying to see,
A vision of the man
I wanted to be,
With wisdom in his eyes,
You could tell he was wise,
When he was talking
there was never a lie,
And though he wasn't perfect
you could tell the man tried,
The twists and turns of life had shaped him,
And he never let it break him,
Life is hard, but he was harder,
This took him higher,faster,farther,
I open my eyes after seeing these things,
Wishing, wondering "Is that man me?"

The Beauty Of A Poet

A word or a line, built up to a verse
Humour, romance, or even full of curse
Its an idea in the mind, which often you can see
From a seed it grows, into a cherished loved beauty

You go through life, with preference and taste
But thinking from another angle, wont go a waste
Its the imagination of a poet, that shows an overview
But we all relate somewhere, wether its me, or its you

To pick up the feather, and load it with ink
The artist begins writing, 'opening' as he thinks
Once it is started, its important that they end
Cos moments like this, cant be picked or amend

I must express, how I love to hear the words
To feel the emotion, behind the poets hurts
To make a vision, that will always help someone
Is beautiful to know, and beautiful to love one

Of Trailer Hitches And Semis..

Gleaming Four wheel drive catches at my heart
Sparking, revving, how I long to never part
Strip down to gears, I learn what makes you go
To the town and back, riding to and fro.

Paint glitters in sun's rays, catching all the mens' eye
Four by four the powerhorse, not a day passes by
A long, low whistle of appreciation that you bring
A quick ride for groceries, the treasures inside makes 'em swing.

Around to take another look, quick questions that are asked
Waiting at the stoplight, loaded up with cattle and grass.
New buyer wants his cattle,no time to stop and talk.
I promise to chat again, when I slow down again to walk.

Loud screech, then bellers, piercing scream tears from my lips
It goes quite suddenly dark.
I awaken to a good Samaritan prodding me awake.
He said he was afeared, that I wouldn't be on the make.

"What happened?" asked I, afraid of the need
"A semi just ran into the rear of your truck, now you know the deed".
"How bad?" "Ma'am" you really need to rest".
Anger welling up inside.

"How bad?" I asked,"Your trailer is beat to Puyallup, the cattle are bruised"
It can't be that bad I reason, I have a buyer to meet up.
"The bed of your truck is crumpled like a tin can and the trailer hitch has moved forward six inches."
"Six inches?!" I shriek before passing to the dark.

Of trailer hitches and semis
Sprained knees and blood clots too
The simple life of a rancher
This life is not moot.

About this poem:
On July 23,2012, I was taking a load of cattle and a bull to a new buyer .While waiting at the stoplight, some fellows stopped to ask some questions about my truck and trailer, garnering some appreciative glances in the interim. I had just bought a 24 ft. brand new stock trailer and put a new trailer hitch in the bed of the pickup truck. While talking to the fellows, a semi with a sleepy driver plowed into the back of the stock trailer. The cattle were pretty beat up and bruised, the trailer hitch moved forward six inches, the stock trailer took a real beating and the truck bed looked like a beat up tin can.

The impact caused a bad sprain in my knee, thus triggering a blood clot in my lower right leg. I passed out from the pain and the shock. I'm now on Coumadin (blood thinner-will be on it the rest of my life)and may be going back for yet more physical therapy. The cattle will be fine with some extra rations and aspirin boluses mixed into their feed.

Insurance has seen to it that the truck will be repaired, the trailer will be replaced (Gotta love those warranties!)and I mailed the trailer hitch to the company I got it from to attest to just how tough those things really are. They sent me a new one and want my story. How the life of this cowgirl rancher is never boring.
