The journey of a thousand miles
Begins with the first step
You never know until you try
It's better not to regret
You might at first be a little bit scared
But if you want it, you'll get
Be brave, be strong
You'll never be wrong
Just don't you ever forget
That the journey of a thousand miles
Begins with the first step...

About this poem:
Boredom makes me produce decent enough poems. This one even has a little country tune to go with it. If you're nice, I might it sing for you. :D Critiques please.

Love is not easy in internet
Words alone can be misunderstood
Love needs eye and lips and hand to tell,
The hurt rest easy when the joy feels good.
Lovers can't reach through the opaque screen.
To underscore a message with their arms,
To say with touch exactly what they mean.
Or give the light caress that anger calms.
Instead they must rely on faith and trust,
Loving patiently a fleshness soul,
Taking words for kisses'cause they must
With full communication their ellusive goal.
Be patient, love and someday soon you'll see
My body tell you what you mean to me.

When you view this world through a speckled lens, there's those that resist, there's those that have missed, those with a bucket list, those that live in fear, those who refuse to hear, there's those that know, those that grow, and those that will never be, there's those who cannot see, life is not reality, but a dream that never ends, we will meet again in the next episode, my friends.

EVER BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP WHERE YOUR HONEY AT THE TIME TALKS TO YOU BUT LOOKS AS IF HE"S LOOKING FOR A BRAND NEW DAY? THAT"S THE SIGNAL TO TELL HIM; YOU"D HAVE MORE FUN MOWING YOUR LAWN; TURN AROUND ; AND WALK AWAY! EVER NOTICE CASHIERS IN A STORE WHO SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE THEIR EYES GLUED TO YOU BUT INSTEAD, CHOOSE TO SERVE YOU WHILE TALKING ON THE PHONE? JUST TELL THEM; I FIND YOU DISRESPECTFUL! I CAME HERE ONCE; BUT NEVER AGAIN; AND MAKE YOUR WAY HOME! YOUR EYES TELL A STORY; WHETHER IT BE; LAUGHING, CHEATING, AN ULTIMATE BEATING; OR PAVE THE WAY TO A FUTURISTIC GLORY; THE EYES NEVER LIE! EITHER LOOK AT EACH OTHER STRAIGHT; OR GET READY TO DIE!

The year began with such dreams and ambitions
Such jubilation with hopes of better days to come
But halfway through the year its all just an echo
And a fire once bright burnt to ashes so long ago
Another summer which appears so full, yet is so empty
For all the parties cant kill the lonely
Center of attention, spotlight girl
So many envy to have her world
If they only knew she'd trade it all to be the simple girl next door
Who has the one special boy to adore
No drama, no lies, no games, no insecurity
Just honesty, trust, stability
Raindrops hit her window on this cold summer night
She thinks how ironic isn't summer supposed to be hot and bright
But there's no stars twinkling in the sky
Just clouds reflecting her emotional state as she sigh
But this is just a moment of weakness
For tomorrow the sun will shine, she'd paste a smile and perform at her best
For deep down she knows there's something in store
Better days will come and stars will outshine those shadows
The year will end and she'll wish upon a star again
All she needs is faith, maybe next year will be less to lose but all to gain
Someday she'd be the simple girl next door with a fire shining bright
And she'd have a boy to adore, no games, no lies, just a love that will keep that fire light

I’m so alone, I feel my heart is bleeding,
Is there a soul with whom my grief to share?!
I’m so alone, I feel the walls to close in
Of cell that is my life, for me in void to stare.
I’m so alone, is there a soul who feels the pain,
For whom loneliness is no news, who thinks the same?!
I’m so alone, my heart extends to friends,
Who’re leaving little corner day by day.
I am so sad, with every parting, every farewell
You're cutting binding cords, make gashes in my soul.
Don’t take away your words expressed so well,
Just leave your poetry alone where it belongs.
I’m so alone, I call out for a friend, a kindly soul,
For whom a solitude’s no foe, but friend instead.
I’m so alone, my heart extends to all
With whom to while away and kill my days.
I’m so alone ...

About this poem:
This is a dedication to our dear friends who leave this corner and never come back, some of them even take their poems with them, depriving us of the pleasure of reading their treasures; this is also about loneliness in general – everybody knows what I mean ... To whom it may concern I wish to fill in that gaping wound in their heart the sooner the better!

empty of your presence,
yawning flowers,formal habbits,
my heart,jumping rabbit,
full of your absence..
-----------
clumsy love,
awkward loon,
you,my jolly berry,
have a good laugh..
my tangled moon,
caught in the cupboard..
it's a flop in the mob..
-------------
morning,mister liar,
she will be there..
kitten night away,
iam a crazy believer,
my lady latchkey..

A mirrored sea called out to me
I tried very hard to resist
For time was not on my side
And the tide did its best to persist
I buckled with temptation
Drifted out amongst the waves
A loner in my salvation
Gives me meaning to the haze
Waiting .......appreciating
Taking it all in
From the clarity of the water
To the line of the horizon
A gentle breeze calls by
Creating hackles on the sea
Just a moment in time
Amid my destiny .....
