Leaders and Followers

Many are those that seek to lead or become leaders
Long before they ever learn how to follow
Determine if your leader is also a good follower
A good follower will also make a good leader
A river will never rise above it’s source
And a leader can only take you as far as he has been
Be wise to know when your leader is in uncharted waters
Be always on guard for hidden perils
And be smart to the dangers of the unknown
Do not be a fool
Do not allow those smarter than you laugh at your folly
If you lead be not too smart to ask advice or consult
Remember some you lead may have travelled that course before
Fools and boasters employ the base to sing their praise
Mark those who sing a leader’s praise
Be not a companion to fools
A man is known by the company he keeps
The man who lead by strength of arm and might
Others will try to topple so he must always fight
The man who lead by love and respect
Those he lead will him protect
Be not critical of your leader
His job already is hard enough
Encourage him leader and offer a helping hand
Remember one day you too may have to lead
Be wise to when there’s no further a leader can take you
Know when it is time to move on
Be wary of inactivity and stagnation

hungarian dance

gracious times,
sensitive wandering,
voyaging journey..
Ilove you,cherishing..
make a step to my earth,
into my arms, blended aroma,
a second one,slow,again,
sunday purring..unchained..
enchanting flamengos,
subtropic's windy hours,
I love you,expecting..
unlocked my door,
amazing maze..
adventurous amazon,
I love you,dreaming..
harmonious times,
salsa lagoon,
ecstatic shivers,
when tide shower,comes..
dance my soul,
crazy brazil'csardas,
hungarian sambas..
blue,green,indigo,
colorful sentiments,
switch the moonlight off..
Ilove you,breezing in,
evermore,to the next dawn..

~13-1/2~

They say its the worst shit, you ever seen
if your dealing with numbers, that add up to this
lopsided world, where the favours in tow
a little known equation, at the end its all sin.

Two sides to a story, that won't seem to unfold
gold plated water, trickles their throat
while fairness is futile, the judge is a joke.

Eye in the sky recording the day
man in the box, himself he must play
clouds fill the rain......as green gets to feed
innocent eyes....respect where they've been.

While part of a calendar sits near the wall
is there conflict of interest, will some take a fall
moment of truth's, stuck tween dark and light
13-1/2.......forever days and longer nights.

DISSOLUTION

Disentangled entanglement of temporal spirituality,
Spreading, all part, yet apart,
Contracting spontaneity,
Life is,
That was, of no consequence,
Here time is void,
meaningless.

Your strengths

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.

WORDS

Words we play...words we say...words would bring a gal my way...my words are here to stay ... ...Words are feelings display...words could make you cry today...

bird strike

Into the sky the metal eagle soars
The roar of the four turbines lifting its wings
Higher higher it lifts
Its wheels detract
Sliding into its belly

Flying up up to its destination it turns
To it final direction
inside its fragile passengers sit patient waiting to their destination to reach
A flock of birds

Collision strike into its engines they seek
Fragile this metal bird power lossed unable to sustain flight its engines now batterd broken it will go down
captain glides his fractured plane a runway to find

Time now ticking emergency to land
No runway in sight lots of burning fuel
Not enough power to the airport to land on the hudson it must

With the gentlest care the captain controls this metal bird with ease it lands smooth on the water it glides
Onto the hudson it lands a floating boat is not onto it metal wings its passengers pour
Waiting for rescue, they wait the fragile bird just about floats

Boats arrive to the rescue they are saved

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp - XVII - Bright sun

THE MUSE: EDELWEISS – Vol. I
*** Part III: Poetic Pillars – Monads: The Harp ***
[ XVII ]
*** Bright sun ***

“Bright sun!
- Said
The small child
Of the maid;
Chirp
Of birds,
Far
And mild,
Stirs this heart –

*** Root ***

Could you
Hear
The branch wild
Shake to twirp
Breath
Of spring?
Oh,
Bright sun!
Rays, thou sing; –

*** Root ***

Low clouds
In
The dew ring
New dawn,
- Cliup!!.. –
Bright sun!
In
A slurp
Of shy deer – ”

Something Undefined

The cat and I went for a walk
wanting something undefined.

Both of us,
we didn`t know what,
the walk was good that way.

We found:
Something pushing grass aside,
something leaving scent behind,
and something else whose better days were millennia ago.

But nothing undefined.

About this poem:
Another one written by my father. He often took walks with the cat. Well, he`d start walking, and the cat would follow. He just hated being alone when someone was around.
