Winter Sky Poem

Embedded image from another site

I will write for her clouds of color
Ellipses, reddened
to temper this cold!

I will write for her words of purple cirrus
and pink, dawns
we will walk in golden sunsets.

Behold yellow morning star
the heavenly peach
caught between Magnolia branches..

I will write the rain, the flame
and this poem for her!

I RISE

You can write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
trying to stamp me to the dirt
Still,
like fire,
I rise.

Just like moon and sun,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes high springing
I Still,
like fire,
Arise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders fall like tea-er-drops,
Always,
like fire,
I'll rise.

You can stab me with your words
cut me with your eyes,
Try kill me with your hatefulness,
I shall,
like fire,
Still rise.

Does my truthfulness upset you?
should I be despised?
I'll dance like i'm a diamond
Forever
like fire
I rise

Love welcome world

Travelling across sea-discovered new worlds
of beauty I see in two hemispheres,
Beauty in all faces that dreams of thee in thine eye,
and sadly carry bagiges of dust
with shuddering fears and dispere;
diclining each other affers.

Love welcome world,to bind in one
while soul of different sights drew back,
like the melodie that's sweetly play's
in different tune's,and boundless deep,
warld wander and weep for there sins.

If world luck'd less in any thing
love will take hand to mixed us ecually,
each hearts beating each to each,
thro' its joys and fears,
instead - human to human
careffuly measuring safe distance,
as bird afraid to thrust coming nearer...

Oh sweet world I fear
if big tragedy of metheor strike will come
to wake us up,
for one world to clamb the hill thegither
where hand in hand we'll go,
reborn again as one the loth,
to pursue a better fate of human kind,
to find that thousand miles disapiers
in compassionate heart of human touch,
to light lantern of the everlasting strife
not only Self to please to its delight;
but riching me,riching you,
for the love that is purest
in new map of the world
that shell worthy be of happy Eternity.

With love that tells alone,
from whom the world begun,
with first love of Adam and Eve,
first innocent white rose filled with kiss,
first whispers of desire trembling,
breathes of love to one world...
to build Heaven's in Hell despite.

Christmas

Christmas Lights All A Glow
People Running To And Fro >
Got To Get That Perfect Gift
Wouldn?t Want To Cause A Rift

Three Magi's Came From A Far
Baring Gifts > Followed A Star
Shepards Did As They Were Told
Emmanuel Now Behold

For In That Manger Long A Go
A Sign Was Sent So You Would Know
For Unto You A Child Is Born
Who Came To Wear Your Crown Of Thorn

RESPOND TO CALL

Respond to call, oh my friend from afar,
Tell what is new, tell me please how you are?
I’ve been in no singing mood since long time.
My leisure’s unvarying, monotone one.

- It’s you, you alone, who’s to blame for this fact,
Look round and see that the spring's at its height! -
I hear the jackdaws so much like tradeswomen
Make hubbub so joyful outside in the yard.

What if I ran down, made straight for the yard
And scolded for din and for bothering us?!
But can I be bothered, should I make a fuss
Over things that in fact I don't care so much?!

Oh they, that's for sure, will shout me down,
With every good reason, and they will be right ...
See here and there the grass pushing up.
See streamlets so busily playing around.

The wind itself is acting crazy.
The ancient oak in sheer feeze
Has squared shoulders with a wheeze,
Bent on becoming green and glazed.

Let them the voices stay up nights,
Keep crying, ringing, blabbering much.
If I’m not ready, not in mood to write,
For me, I guess, springtime is still a long, long way to come.

Whole new life

Resolution sinks in,, let the future begin,
a new dawn,,,,a new day,,,,never the pawn,
a whole new way,,,,,

A whole new life thats open and clear,,,
nothing to hide,,,and nothing to fear,,,
the past dont exist,,,tomorrows not near
todays the beginning,,,, its,,,here,

I'll live for the now,,aint no other way,,
I've learned how,,,,,my dues I did pay,,
Its short and sweet,,, age and wisdom
did meet,,,, youth passed away,,, that
was yesterday!

My Honor, Dear Soldier

To you I give my thanks
for no words could truly say,
The love I feel inside for you
on this Memorial Day.

It matters not your age or gender,
battlefield, or war,
I honor you for whats inside-
the hero in your core.

You do what many others cant or
done in years gone by,
As simple as a helping hand or
star up in the sky.

For those who've not thanked
you and more
I thank you in their place
before
the world and everyone on earth-
how special you are worth.

I honor you in war and peace and
humbly ask to shake your hand
or hug you never caring if
you are a woman or a man.

Dear soldier, no one else
can know the trials that
you've been through.....

but know that someone cares
and life would not exist.....
without you.

Dreams

Dreams come from the eyes of the dreamer,
break free from your box and see a world you never known.
Wind blows through the tree, water drips from the leaves,
the fire lights up the night, and the stars carry our dreams.
A true wonder of the universe that lives in all,
open your eyes of the greatness of this world unknown
The grass is the color green, rivers flow into gentle streams,
the ocean vastly endless, and the waves carry our dreams.
There is a world unseen by the waking eyes,
you must open your mind embrace the dreams inside you.
Find the peace that is there, a light that we all can share,
darkness is not welcome, if you let the wings lift you in the air.
So break free from you box, your shallow thoughts. Embrace this world you never knew, sail on the clouds of illumination. Broaden your mind, fill your soul with the light the beams
and remember to never be afraid to dream

Age old.

There's a fortunate few who see the
way, who live their lives, who seize
the day, it comes with age, as
wisdom grows, a better way for he
who knows, no hectic struggle to
win the game, but gentle thoughts,
no lion to tame, impart such wisdom,
I've love to share, but youth denies,
you can but care.

This Paper Stage

I stand up on this paper stage
With only words to express
The deepest vowels, the highest consonants
Of what our hearts request

Dream on, sing on with me
In octaves of your own originality
Watch your words form linear lines
That move and bend in space and time

Imagination, Yes, Imagination
Give us old images of new shape and form
Imagination, Yes, Imagination
With each of our renewed perceptions, truly we are reborn

For all the poets and painters, writers and singers of song
Upon the written page
Let us write and recite our own thoughts and dreams
As we stand upon this paper stage

About this poem:
A poem dedicated to writers in voices of different forms/genres. Of the styles to chose from- chant seems the most close to my poem’s style but that doesn’t quiet nail it for me. Any thoughts on this?
