Epitaph

I'm old enough to be your granddad, son,
Might even be your great-grandfather thus,
I'm in the night and
So a year will have swiftly passed;
… When both my flesh,
And bones have crumbled to dust,
When peaks of Caucasus
Like silver glisten and sparkle,
“Grandad, it’s dawning!” –
Don’t forget to call me down, son!

Oceanzest

Time

Time

wind my spirit
to weaving of the kelp in the ocean front
neither tossed nor torn
faultless

Time

define my days
as washed sand in tides ever passing
neither rage nor reckon
eternal

Angels at Sea

Angels at Sea

Born and bred on a briny breeze
Bouncing and bobbing on the stormy belligerent sea
Tramel thought hard about his wonderful wife
As he pondered even harder about saving this life
Coast Guard brazen and bold sailed, ready to save lives
“But back!” the bosun blew as he tried to cast out a line
“Over near the bow!” his breath did blow at Tramel,
The brackish black water did a drowning man trample
Without second thought Tramel dove deep down into the water's darkness
The blazing bright beard of the bosun twitched with unrest
“Lord in heaven, spare my life!” the drowning doomed denizen did shout
Sorrowed sailor Tramel swam the sea without doubt
“No life will be lost” the thought lingered in his mind
He continued to think. “Savior save your sorrow, his life is mine.”
As he pounced and plowed over powerful waves, plunging his hand
Heavily heaving and hoping to help this drowning man
“I've got him sir!” Tramel's tired and trembling voice did call
“Aye aye!” bellowed the bosun, his comrade would not fall
The piercing pins of the plowing sea did clinch,
Yet Tramel swam firm through falter and flinch
He held fast the frayed and failing rope
The grip of his heavy hand his only hope
Raising the ragged Tramel and man up the starboard side
The sea suddenly sullen as the storm did subside
The crew crowded and called out for a life had been saved
Lifting and loving the Coastie so brave
The seething sun scoured away the dark sky
This sailor selflessly smiled as he started to cry
The man was fortunate an angel was on duty this day
“Semper Paratus” Tramel pondered as they ship sailed away

Poet's Pen

Some men dig for gold
deep within the earth
Others explore the heavens
searching for their worth
But the poet will find all
these things with a single
stroke of the pen
When they find that gold in
a heavenly heart that glitters
deep within~

THE HEART OF THE MATTER

There is nothing in this world
That I much rather want
Then feeling you deep down in my heart
I waited a lifetime I waited for you
To share a gift thats deep in my heart

A light that is burning from deep down within
Only few know how to share whats in there heart
Share all you've got share all you know
Your mind is the keyhole to your heart

The pain that you know
Is the pain to let go
Be the light that others follow to your heart
A smile everyday keeps the anger at bay
The source comes from deep inside your heart

There is nothing in this world
That would change the way I feel
Just holding you close to my heart
Its this gift that I can share
When people just don't care
They lock the main entrance to there heart

Please accept the gift I share
Go make others more aware
To change the world-it starts from the heart
From deep down within
Hear the roar of the engine
It's the thunder from deep inside your heart

Lets go break all the rules
And change those blind folded fools
They lost there way right to there own hearts
There hearts have been broken lost and misspoken
Reignite the furnace that burns inside there hearts

There is nothing in this world
That I'd much rather see
To find a cure for all the brokenhearts
Mend all the sorrow
Ease all the grief
Ignite the pilot light in everyones heart

Dry every weary tear
Remove all your fears
To show you theres a fire deep in your heart
So come and take my hand
Lets draw a heart etched in sand
We'll stop this world from falling apart
This gift I possess please don't you contest
Its all about the matters of the heart.

Never give up on lady hope

Hope is like my girlfriend i will love her 2 the very end, even when i am broke i got hope even when i cry and wanna die she picks me up, when the times get rough she never leaves Ms. hope the reason i can breathe. In my life time i have fought a war with depression, but she was always by my side her touch warm like a hot fire in the winter,so relaxing so tender, and on cloudy days lady hope finds a way 2 shine the sun your way,she allows me 2 be me 2 live free and not 2 be what society wants me 2 be I thank god 4 lady hope the reason i write poetry, the reason that i can cope when life start 2 bring me down i will love her 4 life my first true wife.

What........Emotion

What guides us to write
Emotions from the heart
To express what we feel
What we see as a start

What nurtures the seed of thought
To grow into a reason
To flourish with splendour
As if the change of season

What inspires us to dig
Deep within our soul
To pen words of healing
An patch up a hole

What gains are recieved
From the write that you post
Does your ego lift
From your accepted votes

What ever is your will
To balance paper an pen
The joy that it brings
Is but healing hence then

For the stitches of your words
Bind humanity together
Allowing common goals
Releasing emotional tether

White

I am wearing white, cause it makes me look bright.
I am wearing white for the people to see
How happy I am having you by my side,
Cause I care too much for you, my dear.

I am wearing white, I look brighter in white.
I look brighter in white, white is color of love,
White is color of life, life is given us once
I am going to share it with you, my dear.

I am wearing white, you’re in white by my side,
Standing here by altar we are wearing whites,
We can dream, we can talk, we can make our plans,
Nothing’s wrong in the way we can while our time.

You’re in white by the altar, I’m in white by your side,
Nothing’s special in what other couples have done.
But this time it is different, slightly amiss,
These are dreams we indulge in – knowing not why, my dear.

This may be a bravado, taking time, playing life,
Making us to believe in a dream ephemeral.
Seems a childish game, played at age not so young,
These are dreams we indulge in – knowing not why, my dear.

Cause I'm wearing white, doesn’t mean I’m your bride,
Wearing white doesn’t make you a groom as if real.
Could it be otherwise – could it be in true life?
These are dreams we indulge in – knowing not why, my dear.

Friendship

The bond
between you and me,
our friendship,
is not based on
the ways of the world.

I believe in you;
do believe in me.
That's the only way
to make us faithful
to each other;
to stand by each other
at the time of need.

The false bond deceives us,
a hope against hope;
offers promises not kept
and poses problems for everyone.

True friendship stands
deep into the ground;
unfleeing in the face of danger.
