DANGERS ABOUND
Tense signals pop sound peeks
a dreary dull mind ignores
as a dreary dull mind pops angst
this dreary dull mind applauds
Hence a spill over time kill
incoming waves not allowed
inauthentic inner voice revolts
a smile relief devours
Is this wicked animal an eye sees?
has this side always been a dark dweeb?
oh the loathing the thought to surcumb
the danger in being half numb
One strand of strength drags half empty
another superseding half full
the source binds it all as one
sit down load a perception on a stool
Must be a good war within
speaking one too many to many
defeat of ignorance is plenty
a fool at best can't sieze
At worst a muddy thought
shrinks the cusp of rising cells
gone is cellular blossoming
those shattering dangerous bells
Hence ...
Dangerous signals woo tense
peek the pops of sound
thank God this dull mind at hand
transforms these
Dangers abound

Hope is my belief,
a bridge into unknown,
world of light?
Yet the path
is pain and joy.
God, don't leave me behind, your world is mine,
our universe:
Home!

It does'nt have to rhyme, or be in line
Just see what it feels like, in your head at the time
So please don't be shy, just take a look

The sight of white velvet stretched across the land,
A breath frozen in midstream.
A calming quiet is at hand,
The day is such a wondrous dream.
People pass by, steady and slow
With a greeting, a smile, or a look.
And children excited with faces aglow!
A night's snowfall was all that it took.
The world seems purified from all of its sins,
A magic that only Nature provides.
It seems to promise anew, to begin,
Through the cold, a warmth born inside.
No man could hope to create an event,
With such an awesome affect.
Though some would try hard to their fullest extent,
Nature's ability commands a respect.
Not only just in its most powerful state,
But in its most gentle, too.
It has strength in its gentle, that all can relate,
Changing conscience which no human can do.

About this poem:
This poem is under my © Copyright 1999-2010 by HMc . . I Wrote this piece after a Blizzard, While I watched how the attitudes of people became kinder, calmer, and more caring after a snow storm . . Your grumpy neighbor comes out, smiles, and he/she gladly helps you clear the snow from your driveway . . . yet on a sunny day he would be his/her grumpy neighbor self . . . An Amazing thing, Snow!. . I wonder if in a place where it snows quite frequently, if it has the same affect, as in places where it doesn't snow as often. ? . . . Be Blessed Always Everybody and thank you again for your reading my work.

I am a Rose
A beautiful fragrant rose
Kiss my tender petals
Inhale my fragrance
Suck my nectar
But don’t trample my heart
Because,
Then…
My tears will be a flood
That will flow drowning you
My sigh will be a storm
That will blow crushing you
My thorns will pierce your heart
Till you beg my sympathy
Kneeling down in front of me

I sit amidst the rubble of damaged, broken things
future gasps aloud with harsh words, arrows, slings
I wear shredded rags of suffering pinned across my chest
Pain clutches my soul possessively like an old familiar vest
mists of doubts and loss have settled in front of me
fogs of dense confusion blanketing all that we should be
in a winding, meandering, long and silent night
a dream emerges with its edges clear and bright
hood of bewilderment lifts beyond my tear filled eyes
and happy filled sparklers dance about the skies
as the lightness beam intensifies it irradiates the sea
the darkness fails and dissipates revealing love for all to be.

Life, it is a real true test;
a test of multiple choice;
there is no rest, you simple must;
do your best, for it is;
the choices you pick that;
will forever weave, your eternal life nest.

The sunlight silhouetting an amazing canopy
Grass more green than any time all the year
Shadows now larger than summer's smallness
Makes you wonder as you watch when it appears
Like fingers crossed symbols of luck they bring
The autumn season will take longer to pass
How the weathered leaves rattle in the breeze
The ever shifting clouds curving across the sky
The emblem that I love snapping to attention
Then resting at ease in the calm afternoon
Trained to all the mornings glowing valleys
Glory to the life I own in my west meadows
Tied to all our country's strong moorings
A fabric of love and devotion to family will I sing
A fierce determination towards freedom
Life hanging desperately at times by a thread
I shall seek no further and ask no more
I shall not cower in the shadows that hide me
I shall not attempt to overcome all the tears
Because if I do I have to commit to it
So, I can’t stand back any longer in fear
Because fear is not something I contrive
I don’t recognize fear so what keeps me alive
What possible example does fear represent
How it belongs to anything I ever thought about
Possibilities created against guarantees
I seriously and most substantially disagree
But getting back to that sunset in my meadow
The grass is really, really getting green
