nightcrow

australian country gold

upon a paddle steamer in the sun on the murry river we begun,
banks that show the wild life of the bush of last night,
mud from were the fisherman stand left in shallows end,
oh how the sun keeps warmth upon ones head with light before thy eyes,
sound of water rushing beneath thy feet are made from paddles fully complete,
turn to the right turn to the left off home we head as the old crow once said,
days long days short all is now dead but our story`s continue,
about the campfire our siblings will sit as we tell of past events,
events of days on paddle steamers to clancy coming down from flat,
days even longing before my time shall the true oz country be foltold,
from fathers sons mothers and even the old oh how we long to follow our own,
and heroes names as ned once was remain in history and stand tall,
with the old kept for us all now is new and will one day be told,
told of old and of new it will be forged in future gold ,
then saved as australian country gold.

Kisses

I'm posting out this Valentine
to everyone today

To tell you that
I love you
for coming here
to play

By coming here
and sharing
and expressing heartfelt tunes

It is with understanding
as we travel lifes mixed hues

So today you may not
have in heart
the magic of a lover

But please dont grieve
We truly have the magic of each other.

THE LAST UNICORN

When Mother nature slams the door,
The draught will roar,
The clouds will race,
At a breath taking pace,
The solid ground will shake,
Rock, will grind with rock, to make,
The hardest stone turn to sand,
With nowhere exempt, from land to land,
As lightning split’s the sky,
Creatures of the night, in daytime will fly,
The worldly wealth of gold will turn to lead,
The great oak will tremble and humbly bow it’s head
As the bluebells ring,
And…..The last Unicorn ……..Starts to sing!

Light

As a seed of light,
Created by thought,
A dream is born,
That cannot be bought.

The way of the dream,
Though not always clear,
Is to live your life,
Knowing no fear.

So stand up and shine,
Stand up for right,
Remember the dream,
Where you are the light?

Stress at School (for SG)

Each weekday I must go to school
To face class assignments and tests
My parents tell me remain cool
But I am worn out from the stress

Teacher says I can top the class
If I work just a bit harder
To me that's a very tough task
I'm not sure I can deliver

Still, I too wish to do better
And honestly feel that I could
So I shall strive to try harder
And must do whatever I should

I shall heed my folks and teacher
And seek to do my very best
Perhaps I can find an answer
By learning to cope with the stress

Where there's a will, there is a way
I must stand up and face the stress
And I look forward that some day
I'll finally achieve success

A little indiffrence saves you...

A little indiffrence saves you
Not be fooled by those who
CConsiders themselves your
Best friends or by that who
Consider himself your lover.
Don't give so easy your heart and feelings
Be a little indiffrent showing him/her
You are not dependent and u are independent.
Show u are the master of your soul
And you can control yourself in any
Situation,no matter worse is it.

Seat of kings

A stone round standing fortress crowns forever beauty
The land bows down inspirational the view
seat of the high kings
Overlooking Lough Swilly and Lough Foyle
Eogháin, after whom Inishowen is named
was baptised at Grianán by St. Patrick
our crowned jewel rings in the heart of Donegal
High up on a massive hilltop
it was a place of sun worship
or the place of hibernation of Gráine
a Celtic sun-goddess
With one breathtaking scene
overlooking spanning miles awestruck
sweeping below beautiful country side our forty shades
of emerald green jewel of Ireland
From inside outwards the pen flows golden precious
Here stands a kingdom
dating back to 1000AD
time of tuatha de danann
one dynasty sings over centuries
Legend states that the giants of Inishowen are lying sleeping
but when the sacred sword is removed
they will spring to life reclaiming their ancient lands.
Our ancient ring stone clad in Irish folklore
One such tale relates that Niall Frasach (High King of Ireland 743-770AD
to me it stands out one fort in a test of time
On a clear day one can see five of the nine counties of Ulster
from Grianán's parapets.
A truly magical wonder to behold
still standing in our midst
sings enchanting sweet beautiful
magical music to this heart

about time......

in the solstice of the winter sun
the old fella seeks what's known
refuge from the morning glum
a place to warm his bones
his verandah lay open there
for all who do pass by
i'm sure if you'd stopped to share
his words would never run dry
a steaming mug of brew
resides by his side
as he settles in his pew
with a smile he cannot hide
no more does he worry
no more does he care
no more does he hurry
his time is now his share
a lifetime of early morns
working hard every day
a lifetime of beautiful dawns
to help him on his way
he's earned his place in the sun
amidst the tar and cane
and wallows in his daily fun
for time is now his gain........
