Birth of the Moon

Borrowing time for the moment to be real
Intensity to the extreme, just to feel.
Retro only in idea of the modern mind
Thrilling to the ethereal spirit divine.
Hither to the tides grow quite high

Of brilliance and bright white-blue light
Forth coming is the beginning of a dawn,

Tracked by the universe in a special bond
Her face quite heavenly in the night sky
Eternal and clear as the cocoon died.

Mother Moon, born anew in the rise of man
Oblivious to the linear time humans demand.
Omnipotence in every aspect of the trilogy
Nocturnal as the reflection of eternity.

LIFE...

As a steady fine mist, rain falls
Refreshing life, is nature's call
Coating the earth, dull-grey
Wait sunrays, to again play

Giver of crystals, shards of life
Dazzling-uplifting, as roll of dice
Bringing changes, day as we know
Varied weather, lifts spirits from low

As a beautiful day, a smile brings
When birdlife, can be heard to sing
Life takes on, special joy and hope
Free from its struggle, easy to cope

Though weather variation, gives life
Accept and welcome, without strife
Good and bad days, show us the way
Appreciate life, cherish each and every day.

Kinderling

We are Travellin

We are travlin
this road
together
and there's love here
to discover
WHO WE ARE

And together
we possess
all the knowledge
to recover,
what we were missing
when we were growing
TO WHO WE ARE

Let's go back now
to where
was
lost
that little
child
in each of
us
So we can
nurture
one another
to the greatness
OF WHO WE ARE

And we can heal those
who come
behind us
with all the love
that
we possess
cause our gentle
ness together
is teaching us.

Then some day
we'll look around us
and see the joy
that
God intended
when He placed us
on this earth

Cause that image
of Christ
within us,

IS....
WHO WE ARE

" Daybreak "

Oh sunrise,
life’s beginning
after the long night’s passing.
Rainbow,
after rain’s falling,
morning wakes you smiling.

It’s when it feels exciting
never knew where you’re heading
whatever your life may bring
it’s you who’s free to imagine.

Flowers,
butterflies, paintings
colours, clouds and birds singing
sky, sunlight,
hymn of the wind
soar, fly with your angel wings!

It’s really where hope begins
daybreak awaited ever since
a fresh start for your being
brand new love is what it brings.

Little Black Cloud

Embedded image from another site

Little black cloud
Dreary dark and pallid
Gazing down transfixed
Never seeing light
Back against the sun
Ever shining though obscured
Vainly expecting to be
Admired for persistence
In denying it's existence
Demanding to be seen
Attention sought by casting shadows
Everywhere.

Little Black Cloud
Grim and so insipid
Glaring and staring
Only looking down
Ever seeing only dirt
Projecting large and mighty
Really transient and flighty
Dreary pallor belied
The weary valor implied
Transparent in your darkness
A lofty void of substance
Only Air

Little black cloud
You darken the world
Your nature is such
You will be gone as you came
Leaving the world the unchanged
Giving no rain
Leaving no trace
Neither nourishing
Nor encouraging
Neither supporting
Nor thwarting
Merely vapor.

About this poem:
Black clouds are part of life. They can appear out of nowhere, but they will go just as quickly and when they're gone, they leave not so much as a trace. The holidays are a time of year with a high incidence of depression, but if a black cloud darkens your day remember that this, too, shall soon pass.

Moving On

It is time to move on now.
Onwards and upwards, one step at a time
Ready willing and able to leave the past behind
in the past
Drawing a clear line in the sand

Forward focussed, and happy
Never again shall I ever become trapped
For, now, and at last, I am once again feeling
open minded, with open arms,a open heart
Able to trust destiny’s hand

No longer enslaved, crippled by fear.
No need to look back over my shoulder, unless
to assess just how far I have come, how well I’ve done
With the great support from true friends and family
Who knew how much I persevered, endured,
pushed through, had to overcome and
encouragingly cheered me on !

Sowing Seeds (steve1223 & Pn1 remix)

The farmer sows seeds of corn
While his wife is watching porn
Under harsh weather storm
While the bees come and swarm
He sows the bread of worthlessness
Round and round with aimlessness
Shall he not reap many hopelessness
As he crawls and begs in abjectness
Sow the seeds of goodness
Harvest the watercress
Touched with grace and might
Be kind don't fight
Breathe the air of kindness
Look for the right address
Thread within his light
Wrong or finally right
Can't one sow golden corn seeds
You can also plant swedes
And reap the harvest of beans
Mix it with lots of greens
No no,an impossibility
yes, yes tis simplicity
An inbalance,the seeds of imperfection
Get them together for collection
That haunts the air in every direction
And pleads for resurrection
Sin=imperfection
Virtue=perfection
Temptation=endurance or sin
Resistance=virtue
Takes you a familiar place you've been
Or places you wish you'd been
For what we sow we shall reap
With faith you need to take a leap
That is the clear fact of life's song
Learn what is written you won't go wrong

Metaphors at Sea

Amidst darkness I see it
Like a weathered captain at sea
Having lost many a great ships mate
and nearly lost his life in the ravages of the dangerous hurricanes
Hung heavy in the fog it`s there
Beckoning
From years away it seems
The lighthouse beams
Reaching through the choking mist with it`s lighted hand
Saying
Come captain,
Come sailor,
Tie up your ship
Eat a warm hearty meal
Sleep locked in joyous dreams
Awaken to see daylight in a different way
And weather the calm seas home

About this poem:
took a walk last week to Wal-Mart and looked out over Lake Superior and saw the lights of distant cities, and thought of days past of ships looking for lighthouses to guide their way...and this is what came out of my mind.
