Limbo Blah
Stuck in limbo blah
Never any zeal
Might as well wear the same old shirt
If I had new clothes I still couldn't flirt
So tired I could just lay down in the dirt
While others have energy and sing tra la la
They may be young but the time will come
To join old friends in the land of limbo blah
Lonely Is Bearing Down On Me
And tonight lonely is bearing down on me
Time passes by and now is all I know
And all I know is that lonely is bearing down on me
In my defense is there nothing I can say
Lonely only wants to blame me
That's exactly what happened yesterday
And tonight lonely is bearing down on me
It seems I should be missing someone
Is anyone missing me
Is there another chance another prayer for the dawn
For tonight lonely is bearing down on me

clinging from my lashes, only to fall
upon blue ink, the words become blurry,
did this once say how much you loved me.
where are you now, and where was i
i feel so sorry that i want to die
i wish i could just hold you again
mend the promise i broke back then
in this moment, my salty tears are warm
but soon i know, they will change to cold
The Search
I am yet to find that woman who brings out the best in me
I am all but satisfied even with all that I have
I am patiently waiting for that day when my soul would seize to starve
I am waiting to be fed with her affection unending
I am acting content with my life but I'm just pretending
I am saddened deep down within
I am searching for my QUEEN

Feeling very empty because I'm lonelyuntitled (hoplessness holds me closely)
Hopelessness holds me closely
Trapped forever in its grasp
Loneliness flows steadily through me
I've lost all faith and trust in love
Treading slowly through the days
Stress and heartache weigh me down
My bones are sticking through me
My smile, murdered, by my frown

Hopes and Dreams
in his dreams at night.
He wakes and wonders,
"Why can't that be my life?"
He wants to show someone
an accomplishment
to justify life,
but can't find an instance.
He thought he had a dream,
but now he's not sure.
Losing sight of hope,
his life becomes a blur.
Stood Up
Passing glance.
Sudden spark.
Nervous smile.
Stuttered speech.
First attempt.
Lucky break.
Later date.
Pouring rain.
Waited hours.
Still alone.
Giving up.
Walking home.
Broken heart.
The Island
in hopes that I find another person
to share this lonely existence with,
but all I end up with is the same endless solitude.
Sometimes I have visions in my sleep
of the one who will find me
and free me from my isolation,
and it's these visions that help me carry on.
Though I dream of the day I find the one,
this dream is but a castle in the sand
being slowly worn away by the rising tides,
yet I continue to build upon its feeble foundation.
Despair
her heart cry out to me,
not realizing that her eyes
reflect just what they see.
My churning mind is cast aside
by my lonely heart,
keeping me from love, of which
I long to be a part.
Ruined
Written on parchment
But the ink is blurred
From the countless tears
I've shed
Every friend
Standing by my side
But their faces are hidden
By the darkness within
My mind
