You may have seen me at your work,
YOu may have seen me at the store,
Y ou might have even passed me out somewhere,
You know the girl behind the sad eyes?
On the outside i light up the room,
On the inside all kinds of fear and doubt.
You sometimes see some anxiety,
If they only knew how bad it really gets.
The yelling,the screaming,things getting thrown,
Nowhere to hide except inside of myself.
JUst hoping it passes quickly this time.
THen you get hit repeatedly,
But they dont hurt nearly as bad as the words,
THen youre left to pick up the pieces and act like nothing happened once again.
THis is the story of the girl behind the sad eyes.

How can you look at me and lie as you do?
How can you sleep while i have to start over like new?
The words you spoke and the things you have done have wounded me to my core,
ANd people wonder why i want more.
I have cried many tears and have had to pull myself together,
To be strong on the outside while falling apart on the inside if people only knew,
The Effort It Takes To Do As I Do.
Pain Is Nothing New Just A Reminder I Still Survive,
The smile across my face thanking GOd I Am Still Alive.
THrough dark days and dark nights i pour my heart out and i know someone has got to hear,
How i long for the one to come my way and hold me so near,
HOw i miss companionship and the things that come along,
BUt more than anything i miss feeling like i belong.

Is life like the waves rushing in
full of velocity and so beautiful
sometime's violent crashing against the shores
flowing gently back out to sea
crashing against each other
as if struggling to survive, one
could watch for hours just feeling
the breeze against your face
and the smell of the sea air
The soft warm sand between your toes
As we walk along the coastline
The salt waters always returning to the air
from where it came, raining again
and gentle snows
to the mountain tops flowing
on to the rivers and streams
starting the cycle all over again
From dust to dust and ashes to ashes
and born again in another form
The cycle of life reliable phenomena
Tide In Tide Out
Missed
You were there but now gone
Your thoughts are now ours
as we remember your words
that are now our memories
so you live on in our minds
You rest in peace and become
part of the universe all around us
in the air, sun, wind and light
We will join you when our time comes
but now we are in pain with your loss
and sadness that we are apart except
for those memories we share

AN OUNCE OF SADNESS
IS WORTH
A POUND OF KINDNESS
FOR SOMEONE,
TRUELY LOVED.

I fear my time is closing in, too scared to be ashamed,
when a whisper calls the night, I will come running from a dream,
Call it obsession that denies,
I'll cry when heaven dies,
I sell my soul just to breath,
innocence is lost in me
when the angels start to cry
I feel as if heaven has died...

if I die tonight
would you remember me tomorrow
if the sun went out
the stars went dark
would you remember me tomorrow
if I died tonight
if a tornado landed
tore up a town
sun went out
stars went dark
would you remember me
Tomorrow
if I died tonight
if the rivers rose
flooded the ground
if a tornado landed
tore up the town
sun went out
the stars went dark
if I died tonight
would you remember me
Tomorrow
if the stars went dark
the moon went out
rivers flooded the ground
a tornado tore up the town
would you remember me tomorrow
If I died tonight
then stop your madness
for I am all ready dying
for I am the earth
river's are my vain
bursting out at the seem
you think that is just a tornado
No, it is a sneeze
you see
now I got a cold
I just had to blow my nose
I am dying can you not see
I am the earth
would you remember me
if I die tonight

Author: Emily Dickinson
A WOUNDED deer leaps highest,
I 've heard the hunter tell;
'T is but the ecstasy of death,
And then the brake is still.
The smitten rock that gushes,
The trampled steel that springs:
A cheek is always redder
Just where the hectic stings!
Mirth is the mail of anguish,
In which it caution arm,
Lest anybody spy the blood
And "You 're hurt" exclaim!
Defence mechanisms

Oh! Those political schemes of tyrannical things,
by sleight of voice most magical powers,
whence by guile, turn weeds into scented flowers,
to charm the ear of unsuspecting Spring;
How in comparison, the Poet his notion lays
to embrace humanity with equality of praise,
tell, in metre's joyous rhyme, like as a dream
to common man, who in humble cottage dwell
and know other, than life's simple spell;
So,you with smooth oration's vast rhetoric's store,
relate in simple terms, the virtue that is war,
your articulated art, promote war mongering schemes,
tell me, what brightness from tunnels end e'er gleams,
and after the mightiest bombardment, what remains
of your valiant victory, save shaclkes, death and chains;
Oh! ye heroic trespassers, pray what, an empty reign
o'er war contaminated lands, sightless, see not waste
by man's political crimes, save foul power, to taste
and re-write the ethics of genocide by convenient pen
that mocks the code of peaceful law abiding men;
How populous enclaves burnt blackened in the sun,
by new found technology in secret shadows spun,
rifled Palaces torn down to rubbled pens,
reduce the warrior, to wicked obsolescent men,
unaware of wrong, fueled by conceited pride,
such arrogance abound with war strutting stride,
empty and vacant hearts hear not the young maidens cry
who mourn their dear brothers and Fathers slain,
tight clasped their hands ask the reason why,
the rivers of blood from our loved family ta'en,
Alas! Savage rites of war, its unabashed ear,
leaves, but widows, awash with endless tears.

About this poem:
As a lone voice in the wilderness and deemed as unpatriotic to criticize the political war Lords, whose driving force is the weaponry of war supported by propaganda of mis-information, our hands are awash with blood.

IT'S DRIVING ME, INSANE; FOR IT DOESN'T EASE THE PAIN I FEEL; WHENEVER, I WHISPER YOUR NAME! THERE WAS A TIME, WHEN WE WERE LOVERS; AND WE'D LOOK DOWN, ON ALL THE OTHERS; FOR WE KNEW OUR LOVE WOULD LAST; BUT THAT WAS IN THE PAST! SO NOW; I'M BEHIND THE PLOW; FOR ALL OF MY HOPES AND DREAMS, HAVE FADED; AND ALL EXPECTATIONS, ARE JADED! I WISH YOU WELL, AND ONLY TIME WILL TELL, IF WE MISS EACH OTHERS KISS!
AS FOR RIGHT NOW; I CAN ONLY REMINISCE!

I tried to be honest but my words got in the way must of been something I was trying to say not that it would matter any way up all night is the price I pay feeling lonely in my own way shadows chasing the light away no charming words in my vocabulary today not feeling sorry for my self I wish i was right but like a kite in the wind with out a tail between my legs it's time to bail an bound to fail these tides of times well never unveil what ya say say we call it a day
