Loneliness

Loneliness is silence in its loudest form; it lives in your head and your heart
Loneliness sits alone, it eats alone and sleeps alone
Loneliness is that thing that tears at your soul; it’s the heart beat of sadness
Loneliness is fueled by rejection just willing to be let in
Loneliness is the wonder if anyone cares
Loneliness is a hunger that needs to be fed
Loneliness is the pain that self pity keeps alive
Loneliness is telling yourself it’s alright when your eyes are swollen shout
Loneliness is drowning in your own tears
Loneliness is feeling worthless when no one knows
Loneliness is an itch that scratching can’t sure
Loneliness is knowing, you will face the same master tomorrow
Loneliness cannot wash away its own pain
It will be back tomorrow to taunt your lonely soul

This Year The Sun Is Shinning On Sixty Five

Life has snickered away at a lot of lost years
As though it wants me to wear a frown
Heartaches have come and gone and caused a lot of tears
And I am feeling down

This year the sun is shinning on sixty five
And I'm a little slower but I will survive
Autumn leave will fall and pile up in the yard
And before I begin to rake I'm already tired

Lightening flashes the same and thunder has the same boom
I know I won't be getting any letters or phone calls any time soon
This year the sun is shinning on sixty five
And how brightly I can see this lonely room

ALONE VS LONELY

You can be alone but not lonely
You can be lonely but not alone
Being both is not a fun place to be
I know because been there you see

There are days that the pain is deep
Wanting something that I can’t see
Wondering just what it would take
To rid this feeling when I’m awake

I can be in a crowd of people all day
But the feeling never goes away
Or I can be walking alone in the rain
My thoughts full of sorrow and pain

Either way at times life can be hard
The pain causing invisible scars
Others don’t see or able to understand
So I smile at them and pretend life is grand

The Man Who Didn't Know

There once was a man who didn't know
And what he didn't know others knew
They would laugh and sing through the day express zeal
And they didn't seem to feel bad
Cause the man didn't know he was sad

He'd been that way all his life
What could happiness be like
Would he ever find it he never even searched
Cause he didn't know he was sad

How many good memories does your heart hold
Here is a sad story to be told
And when the man wakes in the morning
He still won't know

a title by any other name

stands the chance of opposition
and uh being created of thin air
but when darkness shrieks down the hallway at ya
and calls you a living punk well
you better believe I noted the sideways mark on your face
before YOU ran away screaming
they say scents trigger memories like nothing else
oh the tiny rooms full of cat shit
and rotten food and rotted souls
and claiming desperate waterfalls
and banging holds and calls
let's wander the street alone shall we?
an approximate pun is to look at a gun in your face saying get h*rny
I had to think of someone else
I had to imagine waterfalls and grievances that forgot their own name and revived a pretty nature's lame to tying up.
reversed I was used and dried up and love is a curse and not real, what was right f*cking there was not real you say, but good enough to be wasted along with my mind

ALL I HAVE LEFT

all i have left from my in home theft are sweet memories. i lost everything from gutter rats known as the north miami bch police who knocked on my door with guns drawn while hiding behind ski masks. i tried in vain to bring these marauders to justice but no luck so far but i"ll never give up. what did i do wrong to make this happen? it destroyed me and took everything i cherished.i had been living at the residense for 2 years and i had a receipt for the rent i had paid the day before.i pray that someday things will go my way,and the lord will say it"s time,i can"t let this trajedy go unpunished. down with the north miami bch police dept and forever shall they burn in hell.

The Taxi Driver

The lady is very lonely
Doesn't she feel the tears on her cheek
Too bad he left her somewhere on this lonely street

One of her high heels has broken so she walks on her bare feet
The rain has started falling and soon blue memories will be calling
As she walks on the sidewalks of this lonely street

She waves at a taxi he pulls to her side
The raindrops help her tears to hide
Now she's safe and warm sitting in the backseat

The taxi driver is thinking she don't remember me
It seems like a puff of smoke but it was long ago when she said
A taxi driver is all I'll ever be

Lonely Is An Everyday Problem

I write to much cause there's no one to talk with
And when I'm not writing I think to much
Cause there's no one to talk with

And lonely is an everyday problem
With no solution in sight
The strangers that I meet have no reason to be polite

The sidewalks are filled with empty
I hear barking dogs that don't want me around
I don't go searching for lonely but I find it in every town

I daydream to much cause there's no on to talk with
And when I'm not daydreaming I sleep to much
Cause I don't sleep good at night

And lonely is an everyday problem
With no solution in sight
The street I'm on goes on and then I take another right

loveless

simplicity begins in the first degree
with love spread over the path
from the wind high above
wrapping your heart
in the presence of a crescent moon
broken down on your knees
in the grass of a seductive please
holding your head in disbelief
wondering if love will ever
blow your leaves.

A Man Known As Me

In the middle of nowhere
Seldom seen seldom heard
There lived a man known as me

He wrote a little poetry sang songs to himself
He had a lot of old memories but no one to share with
So in the library of his mind they stayed on a shelf

He never had a break through to overcome and stand proud
Jus a few introductions no need to be the man known as me
Was never even painted in a crowd

There's a two lane highway if there you should ever be
In which direction seldom seen seldom heard
There lived a man known as me
