Music In A Black Case

I got some music CD's today from a coworker at work
He had been promising me this music for about five years
I was very surprised when he gave it to me
I went through the music to find what to keep
All the while smelling cigarettes
The one case was made out of leather
Leather must really hold smoke smell well
Because this thing had not seen any smoke for over five years
Yet it smelled of cigarettes like it had been yesterday
I took what I wanted and donated that smelly case to Goodwill
Maybe a smoker will find it's smell dreamy

About this poem:
There was some good music in both cases, the other one didn't smell as much as it was made out of a non-leather material.

About this poem:
We have about 427 employees and around 50 temporary employees, so almost 500 people that work here. The temp pay when I started in 2007 was 10.50, then when I came back in 2013 it was 9.50. Now it is 13 for temps.

The Top Row

At work there is a wall with all the employees on it
The person who has been there the longest started in October 1974
He has worked there for 43 years 2 months and 15 days
He is beyond the age of retirement as he is 63 years old
He works for the health insurance and to pay for dental care
His wife does not take care of herself and needs constant care
Then there are the rest of the them, all men
1977 - 2
1978 - 5
1979 - 9
1984 - 2
1986 - 1
1987 - 4
1988 - 3
I worked with a guy who has three years left to work
Then he is going to save up his five weeks of vacation
And roll it over to the next year in 2021
Then he will have 10 weeks of vacation
Including whatever sick time he has left
So he should retire some time in March 2021
He will be celebrating his 40 years of working there in July
He has only voluteered to work on Saturday twice in the last five years
He is one of the smart ones
He only has to work at this place 235 days a year
While anyone with less than 30 years has to work all Saturdays
Some volunteer for every day they can get
So it's around 300 days a year if you just work the mandatory overtime
If you volunteer it may be months before you have any time off
But at least you'll have some extra cash
To pay all those medical bills from working too much

Come on let's play

Good bad day
Su'mm fe save
Su'mm av fe slay
Manifesting molding vibrations like clay
Flying higher goin deeper
Fe break make wake dem outa sleeper
Causing da earth to rebirth, rolling as da grim reaper
Maime n kill
Negative vibrations that do not conform to ma will
Ya can chill
But too much chilling ain't fulfilling The Most High promise of everyting
Sight without sound
Sky without ground
Flip da script
And turn this shit upside down
Envelopin through
World outside of this
On the inside of this
Bending perception n makin a hiss
Hiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssss
Hiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssss
Hiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssss
These fake snakes they bake cake to entice cos your energy they wanna take
I TOLD YOU A BILLION TIMES BEFORE you empower you, you are the key to unlock your own blowsback Divinity, still you a look pun me, we look yes, breathing peace Love n happiness as much more bliss I manifest, ya need some good milk inna ya breast, fe feed da poor n needy, hopeful or hopeless
Hiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssss
Hiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssss
God Goddess
Feel the heat burning
NRG twirling n churning
Turning you outa you
Creating a vibration which is true
To you
Somewhat old yet new
Beat ya til ya black n blue
Til your memory connects
Til your ego n pride respects
All that be
All that you see n don't see
All you can imagine or draw from your core
I'm gonna grind your
Grind ya face into the floor
Til you recognize
And real eyes
The obvious blatant open door
No need to reach or stretch
For a simple perception
Tweaked in another direction
To glow n flow without ego
To hell wid tomorrow
The time is NOW
1 o'clock NOW
2 o'clock NOW
3, 4 o'clock
It don't stop
And don't move
So how can it stop?
The infinite imaginary
Decoded in codes binary
This is not rocket science but primary
School
Is where we learnt these rules
But the ego did a great job turning most into fools
I said
I'm here to revive some dead
Bones
The moans n groans
Sucking em up lika leech
Every aspect I can reach
I'm not here to I teach
Nor preach
Simply spitting ma truth
Of what I do
How I do
By believing in me
You gotta believe inna you
Hiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssss
Reflections of me is all eye see
Your will my will
The will of The Most High
Will
Always & iN All ways will be
Evident
To represent n prezent iN our present
Aligned iN alignment
An appointed time for refinement
Awareness raising
Gazing not gazing
Praising not praising
Blossomed or caved iN
This journey for da brave
Unless ya comfortable with bein a slave
I don't mean system
I mean slave to your own way of thinkin
Do ya really listen
When conscience, Spirit speak
Are you humble n meek?
Or does the ego reach its peak?
Ok
Ok
All of you
And me we be
Relevant reflections
Ordained to proclaim The Most High n awesome perfection
The right the wrong
The short or long
All things n every1ne
Complimenting this All vibration
Win lose
Always choose
Smile
Bring joy n happiness
And manifest
That same vibration back to you ten times strong
Hiiiiiiiiissssssssssssssss

Ghoul Bus

I had this dream the other night
I was on this road and this bus pulled up
Come on board the decomposing bus driver said
So on I went with all the other ghoulish people
Some were mere skeletons
While others looked just like me
Still without rotting flesh
So the bus quickly became overcrowded
As more and more decomposing and not so much decomposing ghouls
Got on board
The bus would let you get off if you were still alive
As I was
So I got off this bus of death and rotting flesh
So i thought where did this dream come from?
Then the next day I saw the bus carrying the ghouls from Janesville
The ones who had threatened murder at my work place
Then it made sense to me

What I heard

So you f@#$ed it up again!
Did you hear? A guy turned blue from an overdose!
A guy the color of your shirt threatened to kill the third shift manager
I got it fixed, now it's making me look like a liar
I haven't seen you go to the bathroom or get a drink today
How is your day going? I got the belts broke
Any body have any questions?

Milk

It is on it's way
Way cheaper milk coming from Canada
We won't have to pay those sky high prices Wisconsin dairy farmers want
Anything to save a buck or two
Or even three
So what price we will pay for our cheap milk?
The dairy industry is the backbone of many communities in Wisconsin
If they can't sell their milk anymore then all that money will stop flowing
Flowing into restaurants, Catholic schools, businesses of all sorts
It's just another story from our friends who brought us NAFTA
Bush wrote it up and Clinton passed it
Perot tried to stop it
He said you will hear a giant sucking sound going south
Well, it looks like there is going to be another giant sucking sound
This one will be going north!
To Canada!

About this poem:
I am really dreading all this crap with hard working people getting the shaft again and again and again. I've done some farm work in my past. These people really work their butts off to keep us all well fed.

950 bucks

I was told at work by a temp worker
I'm gonna make 950 bucks this week
I get eight hours a day for working here
I also get four hours for riding on a bus from Janesville
So six days of work gets me 72 hours of pay
I told him I only made 400 dollars as a temp
40 hours at 10 dollars an hour
8 hours at 15 dollars an hour
Minus 120 dollars in taxes paid
Minus all the gas money and wear and tear on my car
But at least I don't have to ride on a bus
The word is out on the street that this is a really bad place to work
So they have to bus in 60 workers from 100 miles away
To make the parts
Because most people in my area won't work here
And I don't blame them one bit!

About this poem:
Imagine working at a job for years and finding out that a temp is making 400 dollars a week more than you are. That is just one of the many things that works me up and drives me crazy. This Trump health care plan would be great if everyone would be covered as good as people who are disabled or are in prison. Our health care system is a cruel joke!

9 Days Left To Go

Come one
Come all
To the cheap crap give away!
Come to Kmart
You only have 9 days left to go
After that we won't be here any more
Neither will our many employees
Where will they go to find work to replace their jobs here?
Maybe they'll go to a factory job
Where they'll work long hours in dangerous conditions
With dangerous mean people
Backstabbers, bullies, and gossipers
Oh my!
So come real soon
Our three temps are holding signs to remind you
That you only have nine days left to get 70% off stuff!
Kmart is closing on March 20, 2017

About this poem:
It is so darn cruel out there. All these jobs that come and go. It just seems to get crueler every year. The wages go down and prices go up and these money lending places are making a killing off of this dying consumer. I've seen more humanity with a bunch of crows picking at a dead squirrel on the road!
