Stage Left

If all the worlds are
"the" stage

When one can put out the truth

drop the cloth

away
from "the" stage

Sincerely

"then" or "thus"

"I am home"

Sometimes in life I feel,,,,

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like Iam wearing my shoes to big
and in my life I feeling
a little fatigued

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like Iam wearing my socks
to high and again about
my life Iam asking why

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like Iam wearing my pants
to long and there draging
the floor in my life I cant take
it any more

Sometime in life I feel,,,
like when Iam wearing
my shirt and the sleeves
are to tight
and everything in life
is just not right

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
like my hair is combed the wrong way
I question about my life and
is it happy or just other
sad day

Sometimes in life I feel,,,
my glasses dont fit right
and please Go help me in
directing my life

Sometime I feel like,,,
my heart beating to fast
when will all this sadness past

Sometimes in life I feel like,,,
the room is to small
but I know God
is able to help us all,
even if

Sometimes in life I feel,,,

Daddy's Girl

You remind me of Daddy's
Your beautiful smile
Your bubbling personality
Your cheerful exterior
You are the light of my world
You are the sunshine in my life
When i am sad you make me smile
You make everything worth while
I love you my beautiful girl
I want you to talk to me
You can talk to me about anything
You can come to me about anything
You are a great asset to this family
You are a bright teenager who is
looking forward to her future
and all that she can be as a
Veterinarian.

Momma Where Are You ?....

You left without a word Momma,
Oh!, Momma where are you ?....
I'm reeking,,,,
In my soul Momma,
I just don't know what to do....

On the out side,
I'm a child no more,
But someone, to my soul, closed doors.
The child inside me's crying,,,,
Momma,
Momma, where are you ?.....

Please let me know you care, Momma,
Momma, Where are you ?.
I'm searching everywhere,,,,
Momma,
Is there nothing (You), can do ?,
To let me know your there,
That your soul's,
Still on the earth,
Oh!, Momma, Momma, Momma, where are you,?...

They say they've seen you,
Here and there,
Momma....
When I ask questions,
No-one cares.
Momma,,,,
Oh!, Momma,,,,
Whats the child,,,,
Inside of me surposed to do....

I'm waiting every day,
Hoping you'll come back this way, Momma.
Do you think that you could say,
That you're alright.
I'll leave the front door open wide,
The window candle's burning bright...
It's lights the way back to your child,,,,
On darkest night....
Momma.....

Little Ones

We forged a bond when we were kids to always stick together
As a sister I'd stand by you, and try to make things better
You were so little and lost, and grown-ups can be so cruel
I made it my life's mission to take good care of you

We clung to one another as those years went by
A lonely, loveless childhood, we helped each other cry
We wondered if our mother was really like they said
We hurt for her and missed her, and cried for her in bed

The awful things they told us of how she went away
And that she didn't want us, and wouldn't even stay
So you and I, we bonded, each one had a part
We nurtured one another, to sooth our broken hearts

I wonder about the fate of those two little kids
If God in His sweet wisdom had not chosen as He did
You see, dear one, it's no mistake He gave us to each other
He did it 50 years ago, He'd do it still another

The bond we swore those years ago, will always live within me
We're every age we've ever been, our childhood is our history
And if I could have had it perfect, but had it without you
Then I wouldn't change one minute, because this I know is true

In a world that only contradicts whatever you believe
Where everyone double-talks, and you're always being deceived
Where you're too young to have a voice, and left without a mother
Two little kids found a way, when they bonded with each other

My Boy

watching you get ready nervousness
has come over you as it is your
last game.
You are the quarterback for the team.
You are anxious to see just how good
you can or would be.
The team has become your friends
acting almost as close as a family.
You will miss them as the game ends
even the coaches who were friends.
Now my little boy how you have grow
to soon be a man on your own.
I am proud of you each and every
day for my boy is growing up in a
good smart way.

Dearest friend

Dearest friend

The dearest friend I will ever know gave me life and
helped me grow.
Held me close and kept me warm. I felt safe from every storm.
Patched me up when I fell down. Made me smile to chase the frown.
Soothed my hurting broken heart, carefully mending every part.
Thank you mom for all your care. Thank you most
for just being there.

A Grandpa Morning

Mute morning of fall
even the birds are quite
He just doesn't hear anything at all...

It is morning but it feels like night
Dark blue black clouds overhead
Blocking the morning sun from sight...

Where's the morning paper?
No light, just dead man's winter
Cold morning like an arctic night...

Grandma says to put your coat on
You can catch pneumonia or the flu
Maybe the sun will be out before long...

Come in by the fire and have a sit
The hospital is not really a nice place
But it is there if you need it...

' Grandma Bertie"

“Grandma Bertie”

I see her in the sunlight
On a bright, clear, day
I see her milking cows on
A farm in her younger days,

I see her in the sunlight
In her kitchen making bread,
Chasing 17 children who’s
All wanting to be fed.

I see her in the sunlight
With the church doors open wide
I can hear her singing hymns
Like the sweet by and by

I see her in the sunlight with
Grandpa Alston by her side.
Their hair is turning grey now
With lots of Grandchildren
About 105

I see her in the sunlight at
Her home on Butterbean Ridge
She took in a dog named Racheal,
And was really glad she did

I see her in the sunlight sitting
Alone in her rocking chair
Grandpa Alston passed away now,
It’s been about 6 years.

I see her in the sunlight feeling
Tired and all worn out. She say’s
My children, I feel soon I’ll no
Longer be about.

I see her in the sunlight. Again
The church doors open wide. Her
Sons are carrying their mother
Through the church doors one
Last time.

I see her in the sunlight with a
Heavenly Glo on her face.
She says if anyone to join me,
God’s Path they must take

I’ll always see her in the sunlight,
On a bright or cloudy, in the
Wind,snow or rain. She’ll
Always be in my Heart to stay.

Daddy's sky

Dane, Harrison, Wade and Devin
Daddy miss's you every day, all seven
I wish so much I could see you play
Take you to the park, just for a day
If you ever miss me and you start to cry
Just look up, up at the sky
And remember daddy's here too
Looking up at that same sky, just like you
