Do You Remember

Do you remember...never forget

Do you remember when daddy used to braid your hair?
And do you remember how daddy...
Taught you how to ride your bike

Do you...remember how I taught you how to drive?
And son, do you remember how we used to
Write lyrics in the middle of...the living room
Do you remember?

And do you...remember you used to say pop's
I need to talk to you for a minute...yeah
Do you remember?

Do you remember how you were playing in the mud
And daddy came to clean you up...do you remember?
Never forget...
Baba loves you!

MUM FOR YOU

i never knew what words to choose today
to talk about my mother in my very own way
she always tried her best, maybe not always right
but if anyone tried to hurt her kids. she would put up
one hell of a fight.
and when i went through my heartbreaks, and boy
i have had some
she was there to pick up the pieces
thanks i love you mum
you were there to give your love from when
i was a kid
and you still are giving it now because you
always did
you were not only there to wash and feed me and
wash my dirty clothes
or run out to the playground and wipe
my snotty nose
these memories will always stay here in my heart
until the day i die
and now that you are ailing now its my turn
to try
to show the care you showed for me, before you
say goodbye
to wipe your brow and sit with you
i promise not to cry
and i promise mum i will be there to care
and do my part
thankyou so much for being mum,
i love you with all my heart

Umbilical cord.

Protected in an egg of water,
My life line,
You, and my umbilical cord.
The chord that must be seperated,
At birth.....

Are we realy seperated,
When we leave the womb ?.
What about the silver thread in life,
That's attached to us all.
The thread that ties our soul to our body,
The thread that ataches hearts to hearts,
The invisible thread with such strenght, power and emotion.
The unseen umbilical chord,
Of outside the womb....
The unseen pull of life....
The button hole in our belly,
Constantly reminding us that we are, attached.
To someone !,,,,

Death a seperation,
The cutting of the chord ?.
Maybe not,
For that chord is attached to those,
We create.
For those that don't and cannot create,
They still have, the unseen chord.
For it's illumanation attaches them to others,
Fostering, Adoption, Friends,
Humamity always attached....

Murderer's, Abusers, Innocence being taken from the innocent.
Now, They do not have an umbilical chord,
That links the heart to emotions,
Sad, for those that don't have the life line,
They are,
The freaks of nature....
A baby, once innocent,
Who, cut thier chord ?,
Or did they pull to hard for it to snap....

For others,
Life attached to hearts of hearts,
The beauty of the cord that binds,
The world one big ball of string,

Don't let the weak cords,
Shread us....

Children Our Future

Their smiles they brighten any room, no matter what has happened within that day these little face's have a way of softening of hearts and making our day.
Their laughter is pleasure to my ear's, hearing their words that are somewhat unclear to us but so funny to them is worth the wait any time of the day.
They do silly things and amuse their selves when we are busy on the phone, or working in the kitchen. We feel a tug on our leg letting us know they want to help, so we give them some pots and pans letting them know that they can help, with a gleam in their eye's they feel like they just recieved the biggest toy in the world.
As they grow they mimic and absorb all that we say and do, and with our help they will learn much for their future along with having fun in the games that we share with them, yet unaware of how much love and dedication we have in our hearts for their well-being and future.

Mama

Here I Sit Looking Back Into Time, And How I See
Mama Raising Three Little Kids.

I Can Still See Her Working Until Her Hands
Would Bleed.

But Mama Don't You See, How Time
Is Changing Each And Everyday!

Now You Have Raised Me To Be
A Fine Young Man, And Mama I Still See You
Lifting Me When I Have Fallen And Hurt My Knee's
And How Your Gentle Touch Of A Hand Would
Ease The Pain.

But Now Mama That All Lay's In The Past
Mama I Love You So, But With Each New Day It Becomes
Harder To Show, But Everywhere I Go You Are Always In
My Heart And Soul!

Mama You Have Brought Me Into This World
And You Always Gave Me A Wonderful Home Filled
With All The Love And Joy, You Are Always Near
When I Need You The Most, Even Now As A Men
You Still Know How To Dry The Tears That
Drown The Sparkle From My Eyes!

And Mama I Know Through The Years There
Has Been Many Times I Have Hurt You And Made You Cry,
But In Your Heart You Have Always Found A Way To Forgive.

Because Mama Now I Know That Your More Then Just A Person
For You Are An Angel Sent From Our Lord Above, For There
Will Never Be A Mama Better Then You!

About this poem:
I Wrote This Poem Way Back In 1992, Just For My Loving Mother
Who Was Always Near When She Was Needed Most, And Even Now When I Need Her Most, And I Am Feeling Sad Or Blue
I Just Need To Pick Up The Phone, And Give Her A Call
She Always Knows Just The Right Thing To Say To Bring A Smile Back And Help The Sadness Go Away!

One Good Family

Have you got, just what it takes,
To pass lifes test of faith ?
The stakes are high, the pot is full,
Now judgement day is apon us all.

Countless failures may cross our way,
To try and lead us all astray,
But only those who persevere,
Obtain the dreams that they desire.

Faith is the path we have to take,
Love is the key that'll open the gate,
Positive thoughts in a heart of gold,
Ensures the dream can truely be yours.

One good family, is all it takes,
To save the worthy human race,
From falling from our Lord God's grace,
Before He decides, just who He takes.

When the mind, body and soul,
The gift He gave us all,
Are correctly used, and not abused,
Will truely ensure, our ultimate reward,
Ever lasting life, the dream of us all.

About this poem:
I feel life on this planet is all about different tests that are sent to test us from God and how we deal with them as to whether or not God takes us under his wing after we pass on and of the people around us as to the help and guidence they supply to see if they are a genuine member of Gods family by the assistance they give us.
The human race can only enter Gods kingdom if we all pull together and treat one another as part of one family and so I believe that life here is just one big test for us all before we can enter the Kingdom Of God.
Sounds like I am a bible basher but truth is I am not, but do believe in treating others in the same way as I would like to be treated and that we are all one family who must interact and do Gods work to help each other pass the tests that God has set us in order fo the ultimate reward...ever lasting life.

my sister the sea

MY SISTER THE SEA

My sister is the sea.
whose waves change times stance.
My father is the sky.
Whose light lets you see inside.
My brother is the jaguar.
who is one bold cat.
My mother is the panda.
Whose arms are warm and furry.
My uncle is a bird.
Carrying the message of all the heard.
My grandfather is the captain.
Who finds the path and sticks by his sword.
My Grandmother is the cook.
Who warms all bellies and hearts with her hands.

Teeniebopper Oh No!!!!!!!

I hear your silence
it cuts me to the
bone it makes me
feel all alone.
I try to talk
to you each day
i wonder if it
will get back
to the other way.
It seems you are
so distant now
i just know i
have to reach
you some how.
The years your
in are so rough
they just don't
get better you
see until your
eighteen and free.
I will just have
to deal for now
maybe down the road
the years will make
it better somehow.

mom & daddy

Daddy, you are a figure for your chilldren
when i saw you i was up sad
i can not see you as a father
surely daddy, you're not ready for a father

mom, you teach us love
when you were spesking for us
its so hard to find love on your words
So tell me mom, how can i love them?

Daddy, mom...
I love you more than everything..
A love that you show me
will make it better
daddy, pray for us

Black Hole

Warning! warning! black hole approaching
A black hole as everyone knows
Sucks in matter as it approaches
Matters not if it's steak or chops
Food of any description it swallows
Warning! warning! black hole approaching
My teenage son is home
