May God bless Us all!

This is the time of year,
That most people love!
May it be so, every day of the year
Cos its when we wish everyone!

Let's all be like children!
Children of one mighty God!
Greeting and smiling away
Sorrow or hatred, strife and pain!

Let's have all this positivity
Right throughout the year!
When we will hold all close
To our hearts, in truthness!

Help us God to perfection.
To be Your perfect children!
Make You happy as Jesus did!
So let's Pray ''God bless us ALL"

Don’t drop me in it

Don’t drop me in it if you see my wife,
don’t tell her where you saw me yesterday.
I know you wouldn’t want to cause me strife,
and if you told her, there’d be hell to pay,

I wasn’t doing anything improper,
but even so, she wouldn’t understand.
Once she starts there is no way to stop her.
When she loses it things soon get out of hand.

I am aware of how it looked and what you’re thinking,
but what you thought it was, well it was not
No doubt you just assumed that I’d been drinking
when you thought you saw me doing you know what.

I’m glad we’ve had this chance to sort this out,
and that my side of the story has been put.
So now you know there’s nothing to make a fuss about,
I’m relying on you to keep your big mouth shut.

So thanks a lot for this, you won’t regret it.
Oh, and that twenty quid you owe me, let’s just forget it.

hidden conscious

Have you ever been careless?
Have you ever acted reckless?
Has your eternal love ended?
Have you ever been offended?

Does your mind still answers?
Does your soul seek forgiveness?
Does your life seek adventures?
Does a sinner seek their god?

I can only post this questions,
I can't give you their answers,
I am neither a preacher or apostle,
I am nobody of remembrance but your conscious.

The Portrait (Shadow’s Challenge)

Hung in an odoriferous old attic
Unobtrusive eyes painted with mystique
Her portrait still hung like an odd megalith
Wearing a brilliant hat festooned with feathers
That hung like tassels from ancient cloth
A smile that irrigated love through time
Sitting next to a most foliaceous urn
Playing an ancient harmonium
A forgotten song effectively silenced
By the passage of time

About this poem:
This was quite entertaining as I was inspired to create an illusion of an old portrait that I imagined being stored in an attic of a Victorian age subject.

Our snow white rose

she lays in the coffin on a pillow of silk,
The rich, deep brown wood like a frame, the cream silk stitched inside adds a softness, a soft pillow completes the bed.

Dark brown long hair flows over the pillow and frames the face of this angel, her skin looks like porclin and white as snow,
Her lips and cheeks rosy and the long lashes lay forever now on her cheek, eyes closed and ready for her long sleep.

Hands closed over her chest as if in prayer, the smell of vanilla, the scent she always used floating around her in a soft cloud.

Beautiful and at rest, a picture of perfection never to grow older, like a rose cut when it is in full bloom and displayed for the finest art works, then captured for all time for the world to see and remember.

Our rose, our snow white, our sister, our angel.

as i lay my weary head

as i close my eyes
the melody carries me
far away
to a place where
happiness is in the air
where pain and sorrow
are but forgotten
laid to rest by the notes
that dance eloquently
within my joy
where i can be free
and find peace
so my soul can be nurtured
by voices in key
and allow lovely tones
to drift
through the hallways
of my mind
echoing forever echoing.......

About this poem:
A poem I wrote on Mothers Day this year...I had this idea on that day about organising a project (obviously it will have to be for next year hopefully) where we can adopt a mom for a day .. I know for sure there are moms or wives who don't get fussed about let alone remembered on Mother's Day ... hence the poem ;-)

Reflections

I am reflecting back on my life.
Yet what reflection do i see?
Who is looking back at me?
Child careful not to upset anyone.
Adult who is used to being abused.
Content wife walking God's path.
The widow walking in faith.
I never know which one.
Will make an appearance into the day.
Which one wants an appearance.
Can i just always see the real me
looking back at me.
