IF IT WERE FOR ME

You’ll never be lonely, deep in heart, in your dreams,
If it were for me, if you only let me.
For dreams – they just vanish and time – it goes on,
And you - still alone and you think that it's all,
While heart keeps on beating in search for its joy!

You’ll never be lonely if you followed my words,
If it were for me, if you never let go.
It takes little magic to make dreams come true,
Maybe instant or two, maybe longer, but sure,
While heart keeps on beating in search for its cure!

You’ll never be lonely – this chance don’t you miss!
If you asked my advice, if you only let me,
If you followed your star, tracked its course up above,
Then in heavens you’ll see that it’s real, not lie,
While heart keeps on beating in search for true love!

About this poem:
Loneliness is not fatal and can be cured as any other disease, which is not terminal. Perhaps we should do something about it, make a move ... to fan that fire or it will never catch, let alone keep burning steadily. Wish you luck in your love!

The Day of Infamy

On that infamous day that we shan't forget
They slaughtered the innocent without regret
They planned and schemed to destroy and maim
As they packed the explosives aboard the plane

With rabid minds and thoughts to kill
To murder and mutilate the thought did thrill
To lay down their life and become a martyr
With terrorists ideals they thought were smarter

With innocuous lives they sacrificed in spite
As they proudly and fatally boarded their flight
The lives they'll shatter, the havoc they'll wreak
The innocent they’ll slaughter and kill the meek

The whole world watched transfixed again and again
As the towers they hit with commercial planes
Our hearts went out to the ones who were left
Devastated lives worlds shattered, bereft

Christian unity and spirits combined
To aid the bereaved who were left behind
A rallying cry that resounded and called
To the civilized world who watched appalled

Many heroes emerged from the destructed site
They sweated and toiled without respite
From this tragedy the human spirit soared
From all over the world the assistance poured

The brave and the frightened joined like steel
Emotions were high the determination real
They worked shoulder to shoulder until they dropped
Still more replaced them, they never stopped

A stark lesson was learnt that infamous day
That the instigators of death would not get away
We promised their lives would not be in vain
We’ll hunt them down until none remain

The unbridled hatred and vicious odium
From these killers that spout from their evil podium
So be forever watchful and take this lesson to heart
Make the message clear, never again you impart

Our time on this earth is as brief as a breath
So no more wasting the time we have left
For the ones we love can be blasted away
So cherish each from dawning of day.

Irreplaceable

The song recalls a time gone by
Warm summers, perpetual blue skies
Dips in the ocean, walks in the park
Playing around, children at heart
You knew you loved me, right from the start
A candle burning, warm in your heart
Your arms around me, secure and tight
Kept me warm throughout the night
Your smile was infectious, and eased all wounds
Your kiss, a lifetime to reminisce
You’re long gone
But I recall the song, sung to me
Beneath the canopy of the chestnut tree
Perpetual blue skies, just my mother and me

One for the Road

Standing over them,
I touched their backs but they didn't turn.
They walked right through me.
How could they do that to me!

I sew and heard their cries
But I didn't know why.

They had surrounded a coffin.
I took a look with-in.
It was me.
Dead as I could be.

But then I woke up
I had enough.
I'll take a drive,
But I won't wake my wife.
I'll drink some wine,
Then I go out in 5 minutes time.

Drank as hell.
What was that smell.
Driving to fast
And that was my last.

So the dream came through
Who really knew
That to drive this way
Would make it my final and last day.
I should have lesson to my dream,
Inside of think it was just a scream.

Now I'm so sorry,
Please don't worry.
I'm still here
My little dears.

Nothing Much

I haven’t asked for love, you know it’s truth,
And never have I done so much as soul to bare.
It was so obvious from start my love was doomed,
But it's so comforting - the selflessness of care.
For once again when I see you pass by
Engaged in talk with lady, smiling thus,
I wish I were that lady just for once
To hold that tender look and stare in kind.
There’s nothing to be done, I’ll stand aside,
I’ll never bother you by showing painful heart.
And then the memory of you will slowly die,
To be replaced, who knows, with better chance?!
Oh, unrequited love has got no real bite,
It’s heart that hurts, but then who cares for heart?!

PAIN

Knock knock... it's 'Pain'
undesired and devoid of humane
If you don't know me you will
I'm impossible not to feel

From me nothing can hide
in me all inevitably reside
Often suicides the only mend
like time I'm til the end

Like evil I perpetually lurk
eagerly awaiting next poor jerk
I'm especially significant with love
there I shine at the end of

That's right I'm PAIN
the epitome of VAIN
My relevance nothing can top
shattering lives I'll never Stop

Like life I'm completely unfair
we both conducive to despair
Like a dreaded terminal disease
I'll have you begging "Please"

Never think it's me you'll lack
when least expected "I'll be back"

ANOTHER DAY

Another day fades into the past
shorter and shorter they seem to last
Each tick of time becomes history
where it goes forever a mystery

Another day quickly becomes yesterday
from final destiny no getting away
Tomorrow's bound to turn into today
one day forever could go away

Another day always reaches tomorrow
time we can only borrow
Future brings about 'another day'
it's always been that way

Each day's Twenty-Four hours from it's end
like every human life they're only on lend

WHO ARE YOU??

When looking into a mirror
what exactly do you see?
A reflection of disappointment
or person you wanted to be

When words are uttered from your lips
do they come out truthfully spoken?
Or are they mostly less than true
because belief in honesty is broken

When you search your soul
has doubt and fear taken control
Or is it inundated with faith and hope
which is sorely needed just to cope

Mirrors only reveal one's exterior
in that you can't put all your trust
What truly matters is the interior
a righteous heart is a must

AMERICA

America preaches world should follow their lead
people worldwide beseech our 'freedom' indeed
Our forefathers Constitution was brilliantly done
"We The People" defines Nation of one

Fallacious was 'Equality' and 'Justice for All'
in no country could that ever befall
Dreams of a free society came true
every freedom gov't often denies you

Americas' forced poverty behind rife despair
leaders HATE having to pretend to care
"God Bless America"...last words politicians say
they covet only power and prestige everyday

Please tone down the America's so Great
political correctness a disease born from hate
America deemed the melting pot of Earth
this reality has diminished American citizens worth

Mass diversity bound to bring about unrest
imbecilic ideology behind massive failed test
Patriots will mend Lady Americas' heart
A 'United States' divided inevitable from start

A DAY AT THE BEACH

It's truly breathtaking watching the rising Sun give us daylight
just as awesome witnessing a setting Sun bring back night
Those picturesque moments are ones you're certain to recall
"A Day at the Beach" epitomizes casual entertainment for all

As the Sun gradually ascends...sunbathers inundate the shore
relief from the sweltering heat are the Emerald waters next door
The worlds whitest beaches in Pensacola are second to none
the most alluring sights are lying out under the scorching Sun

Squawking Seagulls are synonymous with a day at the beach
Crane stalk the waters edge hoping a tidbit wanders within reach
Sand Crab scurry in and out of their holes seeking what it craves
in Blue Angel formation...Pelicans glide inches above the waves

'A Day at the Beach' guarantees memories but you must never forget
the ocean demands respect or it will take your life with no regret
Beaches are invaluable places that offer fun and ways to unwind
when your day reaches done be sure to leave only footprints behind
