A JUNE DAY

Beautiful blue sky and warm gentle breeze
Flowering roadside blooms covered with bees
Lush green hillsides reaching to the sky
Making the bride release a happy sigh

For today she and her love will be wed
In the beautifully set meadow up ahead
A lovely arch at the end of the footpath
Covered with flowers and only sun is forecast

Why is June the favorite month of all
Only followed second by the months in fall
It’s the colorful flowers of late spring
More beautiful than any bride’s engagement ring

Roses, Lily of the Valley, Peonies and many more
Make the most beautiful wedding décor
Making for the perfect setting to look at in awe
As all these things were furnished by God

About this poem:
The month of June is the most favorite month of the year for brides. Why? Well I think it is the beautiful flowers that bloom at that time of year. But who knows in spring thoughts turn to romance after a long cold winter.

We are one

The human race lived together happily
Until race, religion and colour broke us
Convincing us to believe we are different and superior than each other
Trully....
We are different in colour
But one people
We believe in different religions
But there is only one God with different names
Different race...
We all make up mankind
We are here for each other

A Single Pebble

That which is rarer than anything exposed on a beach
Gives me meaning and purpose that few of us reach
A pebble, a single pebble now kept in my pocket
I will keep safe inside this special keepsake locket
And will wear it around my neck for my protection
And hold on to your substance in my life once more
That which once was part of something much grander
Gives me the courage to ask where are you from
No more wait for incessant makes ups or breakups
Washed smooth by the rolling tides still breaking in
Worn out and perhaps weary from such long ago origins
Now all the drama of a past has gone by and been forgotten
Forever now I behold its value be held with sacred love
Glowing with each sunrise in such a warm surprise
Could it have taken me any longer to yet surmise
All that you have given back to me for that I will keep safe
All that you have given to me and now I will give back
I will always be, yes my love, I will always be here for you

Beginnings

Out of the earth
A slow steady burn
Burning with desire
Now take it's time
It won’t go out
Following your heart
Glowing on the horizon
A bright crimson star
O’er a sea of tranquil green
My heart’s belongs to you
That’s really easy to see
Right beside yours
It's perfect host
Our hands will hold
Be no longer cold
A love we share
Until we grow old
Nothing else matters
The laws of nature
Require we struggle
So let's make a nest
Where we can snuggle
We found each other
We’ll find our rest
Inside our breast
I become yours
You become mine
Two hearts will collide

Pascal's Gambit Thrashed out (Kind of )

So sorry I was to see your pain,
Now things can’t be the same again,
So sorry was I to hear the news,
Fate is chosen, you do not choose.
So sorry to hear, a betting man will lose,
Men are betting, by praying in his pews,
So sorry to hear, if proved right you gain it all,
If you were wrong there is nowhere from which to fall.

So sorry to know Pascal’s Wager,
Its logical to bet even if insincere,
But there is a voice which may say,
Your insincerity will not gain you a place here.
If you bet and are proved right,
Happiness is the net gain,
If you bet and lose, you are no worse off,
So believe, even if you have to feign.

So sorry to hear the news,
You can bet and not lose,
But there is a sting in the tail,
If you are insincere you will fail.
So sorry to tell you,
God know public face and private mind,
There is only one way to get to heaven,
And that is by being and doing kind things. 23/03/19

“The argument that it is in one's own best interest to behave as if God exists, since the possibility of eternal punishment in hell outweighs any advantage in believing otherwise”. Blaise Pascal,

My Dad

My Daddy took me dancing,my feet on top of his
I was so small, he stood real tall
My eyes looked up in awe,he blew me down a kiss

My Daddy took me walking and we stopped
by the blossom tree.
We heard the birds,we saw a Owl
He said that it winked at me !

My Dad
He took me waltzing amongst a happy crowd
He held my hand, his head held high we smiled
And as he led me round, both he and I felt proud.

My Dad
He was my hero, i loved to hear him sing
He passed away so suddenly and i
was sure my life would end
My Dad, my forever friend.......he was my King

Love Will Endure

Could it be so plainly obvious
That you'll know for sure
That you are deeply in love
Flowing in a heart so pure
With who left the most beautiful
Imprint on your heart for sure
With a confidence that spreads
Like ripples in a pond contour
Expect your dreams come true
Coming soon to your allure
You don’t have to do anything at all
Just keep that smile demure
When all you have to be is You
And trust this love will endure

Oblivious

The Kiss with the twist that curls you toes
The sweet aroma that tantalises your nose and awakens your senses like nobody knows!
The hope you see in your lovers eyes, the sound of their laughter is such a delight
And it appears that there is not a cloud in sight just pure blue skies from daybreak to night
Oblivious to the crowd that surrounds you, your love and affection becomes impossible to hide
As you are so smitten with the vision of beauty by your side
Coming back to earth once in a while, only to get lost once more in their welcoming smile

a cactus flower

a cactus flower was born into the winter -
even snow flakes could not destruct the beauty
of the white petals between thorns
