Tears From a Red Rose

The red rose is touched by dew :-

Tears from a red rose
Blood from her womb
So few will know.

Known by so few
Tears from a red rose
So few will know.

Blood from her womb
Tears from a red rose
So few will know.

REBORN

I fear death yet I turn not away,
For if the time comes to put me to lay;
Then I will see no evil nor fight
the burning of the bright light.
God's answer will also be mine,
And so I alone shall not pine;
For long lost dreams and torments,
Soon they shall lie dormant;
Til like the phoenix from the ashes of flame
I will rise once more without blame.

About this poem:
Many years ago, in a reflective mood thinking randomly about the subject of people and animals being reborn in another time, it came to me to write this poem.

MY FOREVER VALENTINE

its been almost three years since I touched your beautiful face; and life has gone by at such a very slow pace! I long for the day when our eyes will once again meet; and from that moment on; every day spent together; shall be a wonderful treat! have no fear; for I shall always sing your praise; and our lives will never cease; but for right now; dream of me; while you rest in peace! you shall always be; my forever valentine!

Obese

They say fat a**, They call me round
They say I block the sun
They say I eat more than my share
I'm far too big to run

They say that I could kill a man
By sitting on his lap
That I look like an elephant
My body fills a map

They say the scales I use will break
And chairs will all go crash.
I jump into a swimming pool
And get the biggest splash

They say they won't make clothes my size
Unless a tent they use
A full cow worth of leather
Just to make a pair of shoes

They do not say how good I am
They don't see how I care
They don't see what they do can cause
I don't think they're aware

They don't see the depression
The anxiety or pain
The tears we have to try hold back
Some people go insane.

They don't see that we stay inside
Afraid to leave the room
They don't see what the future holds
The misery and gloom.

They don't see dying all alone
In coffins that are big
And buried in the massive holes
machines were hired to dig.

since u left

since you left my hearts grew weak ,since you left its hard to speak, above this earth you now fly why you left I know not why, Summers day is a lesser glow, I'm even sadder amoung the snow, An angel you where here on earth, but taken way I find no worth. Free my soul and mind I pray from remembering your lovingness every day. since you left I feel less glad to heaven I am a little mad. since you left my days are unfilled as each memory I'm my mind I find a chill. Forever lost to my touch I anger long and suffer much. since you left a world darkens more as angry tears flow ever more. since you left.

Sea Fever

I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by;
And the wheel’s kick and the wind’s song and the white sail’s shaking,
And a grey mist on the sea’s face, and a grey dawn breaking.

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.

I must go down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life,
To the gull’s way and the whale’s way where the wind’s like a whetted knife;
And all I ask is a merry yarn from a laughing fellow-rover,
And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick’s over.

RESTLESS & LOST

The feeling ..hard to explain
I recognise myself only in name
the sense of self merely a shell
the only feeling - living in hell

The light - end of tunnel is barely in sight
as sleeplessness reigns yet another night
So much to live for but lacking foresight
straying towards wrong - rarely the right

Desire to push the self destruct button
knowing full well result equals nothing
hoping like hell this night won't be long
hoping to find the will to be strong

Relentless struggle tomorrow will bring
and maybe the bell of hope will ring
may it chime really loud penetrating my mind
and reach the place it's destined to find

scotland revenged

here upon this day you take our scotland away,
you take our loved ones and destroyed our souls,
but beyond our old lies our toll with graves so worn they become old,
with modern times scottsman long forgotten,
afar lands as australia-america-canada and even africa,
our dead soldiers remains still lie in mass graves which the world denies,
but upon this day scottsman arrive not by body but by heart n soul,
death is no option as they stand as one we be weiry of those of faulse,
one day the strongest scotts will servive standing tall,
one day they will show the world their strengh,
alone they stand together they fall like a dragons bond they will stand as one,
they will take a blow but pass there spirit on so no matter what,
a true scottsman will live on long pass their time,
be warned my world bring it on we stand strong like our home scotland,
we stand stronger than those whom are week and those whom stronger,
stronger so believed when war brakes out you can b garaunteed,
a true scottsman will stand his ground till his body has no breath,
even then watch your face cause he may surprise you and not hit from the back,
his a bloody scottsman and even through death will raise his sword to your damn face,
only one man beats a scottsman and hes passing already began,
lord jesus us scottsman bow only two one man above usthat is god himself,
and he needs no sword as we need none in our back, the reason we quiet once strike back ,
only when we true scotts hit we hit front on with almighty power,
even the celtic- irish and vikins fear us scotts,
they fear us for even a broken bone can not stop us,
we work - we move forward weather we can fight or not ,
because deeep down scotland calls us and we must say yes,
say to nessy say yes to ozzie but never say yes,
never say yest to death himslf as a true scotts man bows down to no man not even with his last breath,
a scottsman remains strongest as his honor truth and justice will always remain the same,
may our true scottman, ozscott, canadian scottsman all hold their heads high ,
a stags head they unite under may scotland survive its past and its future ,
with distances aside may it stand alone and by its decendents side,
scotland , my heart, my brothers, my past may we all,
may we all survive despise the forgoten past we hide.

D.I.V.O.R.C.E.

Because of you emptiness inside me has reached the depths of abyss
I'm crushed by our end and moments of every day It's us' I'll sorely miss
My inexplicable love for you will lengthen the time it takes to shake my daze
accepting this failed marriage will challenge me for the remainder of my days

Caring just half as much as I would have held our commitment together
due to your NPD and absent reality...I've lost the love of my life forever
Maybe I shall live long enough to find love we once had for each other
" Who am I kidding "...the way I loved you I couldn't possibly love another

This divorce makes three...and you too gave me NO other choice but to file
this Old-Fashioned Gentleman knows if you give an inch woman take a mile
Lingering pain is obviously synonymous with divorce but this latest hurt most
despite all mistreatment...going beyond to please will remain first and foremost

For years your actions proved you really loved ONLY yourself and your 'perfect' son
if honest...you'd admit you never intended our relationship to be a permanent one
My desire Evilla is to keep giving even if it's not deserving...that's simply who I am
instead of choosing mentally abusive and vile...you could've tried giving a damn

These words had true meaning when exchanged years ago
"I Love You"... THAT'S ALL WHAT I KNOW!
