Wife

‘Wife!,' cried the impatient husband. ‘Fetch me my boots, I have friends I need to meet.’

Fetch them yourself, thought the wife, as she delivered them to his feet.

‘Wife!,' cried the greedy husband. ‘Get me food, for my hunger must be satisfied.’

You big fat oaf, thought the wife, as she hastily complied.

‘Wife!,' cried the lazy husband. ‘There’s cold beer in the fridge, I want it now, without delay.’

I should ram this bottle down your throat, thought the wife, as she set it down upon a tray.

‘Wife!,' cried the lustful husband. ‘Bring me your body, I need it underneath me until my urge subsides.’

You disgusting pig, thought the wife, as she lay down by his side.

‘Wife,' mumbled the half sleeping husband. ‘Move over, you’re taking up too much bed.’

Sleep tight, screamed the wife, as she brought the hammer hard down upon his head.

Across The Miles

Reaching beyond the miles
In search of something more than smiles
To find a connection
More than words can express
Something unwritten
Far from a feeling, a knowing

Taking an online spark into reality
Is what we all seek
But geography builds a barrier
We each choose not to break
So left in our corner we weep
For a love we desperately desire

Too weak in fear of pain
Our hearts are left in the mire
Of our own creation

THE THREE WISHES

Embedded image from another site

One night I dreamed of walking green hills
Seeing little people that gave me chills
Following a rainbow to the end
Seeing a pot of gold and a little green man

"Top of the day to you", he said
With a little green hat on his head
"Come closer my dear to me
Come over and rest under the tree"

He said he was a cobbler by trade
As we sat under the tree in the shade
I noticed a black kettle off to the side
With gold coins he guarded with pride

He asked didn’t I want to steal them away
I told him – no – I wasn’t there to prey
He said I had earned 3 wishes for this
So think careful and tell him my list.

The first I asked for a long and healthy life
Second that in the world there no longer be strife
For the last that I wanted 3 wishes more
He laughed and slapped his knee and roared

For I'd found the secret to eternal wishes it seems
To keep using your third wish to fulfill all your dreams

at the dark shore

i feel the distance
and it says "farewell"

at the sinister shore
i just can see shadows

but the long valley
and the torturous road

nobody around me

just some trees can listen my cry

so i walk and i walk
and suddenly i cross the long and evil road

Love

A day with you brings hope of love, we both wear rings on our fingers too seal our love.
Comfort and happiness these are but a few, I stare into your eyes to study the view.
My hand holds your hand and will hold fast; my heart and my body tell me this will last.
Now I have you close, very close and holding you tight. Wow I’m a lucky guy as my mind screams out in delight.
So, rivers and streams may hit the seashore, but my hands over your body caresses my heart and soul forever more.

Sir ...

Can you not walk?
Can you not talk?

Why did this happen to you?
So, so very sad - but true.

Can you not eat?
Can you not stand on your feet?

No. You cannot. I'm sorry to say ...
Horrible things turn out this way.

That Day ...

Once upon a time ...
You were living life just fine.

But, the sky, that day
Was a dark, dreary gray.

Then, in the blink of an eye ...
You became a very different guy.

No fault of your own
You were simply headed home.

A victim of circumstance ...
You really had no chance.

If I had the power to change ...
That day, I would surely rearrange.

Once upon a time, you had it made, everyday.
Then, in the blink of an eye, it was taken away.

Release Me ...

Ah, the skin ...
Kiss my chin.

Fingers on my spine ...
Love, so divine.

See, my eyes ...
There will be no disguise.

Linger on my breast ...
Surely, you jest.

Ah, you know ...
Fire is below.

Yet you tempt, you tease ...
Release me, won't you please.

Hallway ...

I was walking down a hall

There was carpet wall to wall ...

It was rather dark and dim

I was feeling uneasy and grim ...

The hall was long like a maze

It became darker; air like haze ...

Round the corner came a shadow of a trace

A figure of a man who shot me in the face ...

The Path ...

Come with me to the field ...

Whisper to me secrets revealed.

Let's take the old dirt trail ...

It will lead us without fail.

The path to our special place ...

Where you'll spread kisses upon my face.

You say you'd like to fool around ...

Toss the blanket on the ground.

My dear, do you think we have been seen?

If so, our voyeur is now surely keen.

Oh, the things we said and did ...

We wonder maybe we should have hid.

So what if we had been caught ...

Who dares disrupt the love we sought.
