RAINY DAY

On my front porch swing contemplating a rhyme
close by Sparrows chirp aloud killing time
Sparkling White sand covers Pensacola beaches
a Woodpecker's tapping for tidbits he beseeches

Rolling Thunder from afar shakes the sky
ominous lightning strikes violently near by
Wind brings about a whistle from the trees
leaves begin flapping in the gusting breeze

At rain approaching I can only stare
so close the smell permeates the air
A chorus of frogs' disperse piercing sound
rain fades leaving behind saturated ground

Birds scurry for morsels they most like to eat
surfacing insects always an appetizing treat
Sprinkling lingers as Sun returns from away
a Rainbow sums up this rainy afternoon day

Nature is indubitably the home for Zen
all things breathtaking she takes part in

RENDERED SPEECHLESS

Lying out on Pensacola Beach under scorching rays
while engrossed in TK101 Rock my mind strays
As I lie sweating profusely burning sand covers me
some found my eyes negating opening them to see

Startled I quickly raise up to rid sticky body of the grit
I wipe my stinging eyes managing to open them a bit
After focusing I see this Goddess starring down at me
her resplendence far greater than any desired fantasy

I then heard "I'm so sorry" in the sexiest possible voice
"Can you ever forgive me" like that was even a choice
I'm struggling to process this Venus of genuine mystique
brain's screaming respond but I'm too stupefied to speak

Again saying I'm so sorry as she's turns to walk away
she glanced back and winked saying "see you someday"
If we cross paths again words won't be so hard to find
I'm certain visions of she will never escape my mind

When I lay back down thoughts run rampant in my head
F.Y.I... I did get to see her later that evening while in bed

LAST FOR LIFE

Today it's unlikely but relationships can "Last for Life"
must adhere to vows for lifetime as husband and wife
Some essential ingredients from which you can't deviate
honor recipe or both will slowly but surely lose their mate

I'd argue the most significant are honesty and trust
lack of either assures partnership will be a bust
Another is both must equally embrace compromise
if one does and other doesn't guess who will agonize

Respect a component indispensable in making it last
without it 'together forever' becomes part of the past
"Til Death Do Us Part" feasible if boths true desire
50/50 because one-sided relationships ultimately expire

ACTIONS speak louder than words so SHOW you care
idle communication says life partners is no longer there
Relentless temptation is reason love's been buried
people shall never give up on concept of married

REALITY/FACTS

"People can't handle the truth" FACT ONE
the following and more weigh on me a ton

These words won't set well with many of you
because you disagree doesn't make them less true
Many laws of this land are at best a cruel joke
most always only relevant to the less fortunate folk

"The Great Satan" many proclaim America to be
theirs valid evidence making it impossible to disagree
The wealthy make their own rules to assure they go free
fact is Government doesn't give a damn about you or me

Americas' guilty of as much evil as any other government
fallacious leaders who dismiss real Americans sentiment
Govt' decided our country should be the melting pot of Earth
no regard for "We The People" further proving our true worth

Govt' fantasized unity was possible in an overly diverse population
that ignorance is reason ONE behind the demise of this nation
Govt' turned a once great land into everything but a United State
a tragedy conducive to perpetual resentment and inextricable hate

They won't tolerate anyone uttering truths that aren't theirs
free speech if your not inquisitive of their illicit affairs
They inform us about what they want no more no less
covering up their iniquities with lies rather than confess

Learn to accept that these words are indubitably reality
believing politicians care reflects a clueless mentality

true feelings of love....

When I hear your voice, my heart sings. When I see you, I get butterflies. When we touch, I feel the pure connection we share. You are so very special to me... Love works in mysterious ways, I've totally fallen for somebody I never thought I'd fall for, And I'm totally loving it You are a warm hug, a soft kiss, the perfect human pillow, super fun to be around, full of cute corny moments, and the feeling of complete security. I Love You. 8 billion people in the world and I only want you, you never know your life is incomplete until u meet that person that fits just perfectly...Loving someone means wanting the best for them.. loving a man you never wants to be without... Sometimes those things that scare us the most are also the ones that have the potential to make us the happiest. when times get hard do you follow your heart and fight for what you want or do you fight your heart and try to let go? Take time to get to know the beauty of someones heart instead of lusting after their outer beauty. Outer beauty fades in time but inner beauty is everlasting!

Sometimes all it takes is for that one certain person to realize how special you are and treat you the way you deserve to be treated.

knock knock..

knock knock..
It's time to
listen to your
heart!
This scene is
gettin' old
It's time to
be bold!
It's time for
a brand new
start!
Are you willing
to do whatever
it takes
Have you courage
enough no matter
the stakes
To break through
the wall that
blocks your way
If this speaks
to you then
start today
Mabey one big
move might do
the trick
If that won't
work then you'll
have to pick
Between tiny steps,
but at least make
one
It's better than
rotting..better
than none
Step out-break
through-break free
today
Forget about your
fear or what others
say
Cause when tomorrow
comes and you're
still stuck
You can lie to
yourself and blame
it on luck
" Hero's die once,
cowards die daily"
Prepare for battle!
No evil fights
fairly!

You're Smile

YOU’RE SMILE

How can this be a smile so captivates me
So wide and bright, I feel my heard shutter, take flight
A smile that travels so tenderly and fans a flame where none would be
It will never be wasted, totally appreciated, to know that smile is for me
It’s been that way from the start a smile so binding it held my heart
So my darling forgive when I stare, your smile is your breath, my air

A Throwing Stone

I sat for a millennium trapped
Under the shallow depths
Only the last 10 thousand years
Exposed to light and wind and rain
One by one my tiny grains flecked
Away like husks blown about
Making many tiny sand on a beach
Washing up shifting moving
Slightly with each passing tide
Little by little I wear away
Only once was hidden and whole
Wet and dark and shiny
Then as if the turbulence
Of living was not enough
I am picked up by random
And tossed back out to sea
And must wait once again
For a new millennium to begin
To be born again.

"Desire"

Your desires
engraved in the look
your face,
eye flame.
I do not run away
against the pupil heat
burning skin.
I serve raspberry breasts
swollen with longing
you rock the depth of your hand
mouth by touch
asking for more.
You intertwine the bindweed legs
dewy bodies
you're drowning in relief of blue eyes

THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD

Embedded image from another site

To walk into the outdoors with eyes of wonder
Seeing nothing but adventure around the corner
Something different to explore and see each day
To look at everything as fresh and new to play

Everything looks bigger – more beautiful and new
Never bored – always something exciting to do
Looking wide eyed at all the fun and beauty around
Pretending to be a Prince or Princess with a crown

Boys with swords and a new Dragon to slay
Girls with long jeweled skirts – different every day
Boys fishing with their hands and squealing with glee
While girls kissing frogs hoping for a Prince to see

If only as adults we could be as carefree
Always seeing something new – happy and free
To look at the world through the eyes of a child
And be able to enter each day with a happy smile
