Tales from the Ocean of Humanity

I've spent my life upon the ocean
Through storms and troughs
And tsunamis of dread

And sometimes I have sighted Islands
Upon this trackless ocean of life
But have been unable to reach them
So rough has been the tide

I came upon an archipelago
Many islands beneath the sun
Of various size and appearance

As I tried to land on some
I found them unwelcoming
Some were frozen and aloof
Some gave me a hostile reception
And made me go away
Others already had two inhabitants
And three would be a crowd

Still others did I come upon
Where the islands had been damaged
Perhaps by war or bad season
yet others are only seen at night
Their inhabitants afraid of the glare of day
Sounding out their siren's calls
To lure the unwary
And to rob them of their goods

My quest goes on amid the islands
Till I find one where I can live
And at last my journey will be over
My anchor dropped in a friendly harbour

Till then my voyage continues
Upon the sea of loneliness...

the sun is shining bright today
i can feel it,s warming glow
i thought it may be responsible

but i quickly realised, it,s there

tilts the chalice

Loveliness tilts the chalice
raise to lips cranberry magenta
recurves drawn an archer’s bow

Sovereign Blanc to savor and swirl
ongoing story begin to unravel
swirl in reverse toward retrospect tilts
unraveling first things first

Running and skipping thru neighborhood meadow
Snapping them up by fistful and clusters
There’s more for the taking while racing about
Feet a-flying
Eyes a-wide
Shrieks delight
((Make Daisy Chains!!

Yellow buttons squeeze amid white fan arrays
Interweaving stems until the fingers green
Longer weaving longer one wish away farther
twist wish twist
wish twist wish

That first crush dispense with far too many
some daisies get bruised got pik’t too hard
ranking second third and so on
yet far n away Squish the best kiss’s of All
Perhaps so avoided these crush-coincides
a fifth a sixth and so-on kids!

Subject to karma its outcome seeming
half an eternity in the living
sapphire dreams will come will go
daisy chain wishes sip the Cognac of __
Beautiful within \ Beautiful without
Petals held from youth
beam an elder woman’s smile
Tilting the chalice most beautifully

Winter Blues

On this cloudy wet cold miserable day
Take time to see past the scene before you
And try not to feel oppressed
Become too depressed, or to wallow
Hold on with hope and faith and assurance
that brighter times are soon to follow

Be the light breaking though the darkness
Have hope, wear a smile and aim to pass it on
wrapped up with love and care to share with everyone

Walk tall, feel proud to stand out in a crowd
Dance as only you can dance, sing your own song
as silly as it may be or sound

Lookout for a beautiful rainbow
created on high for our eyes to see
Choose to spread hope peace, love and joy
For as the air that we breathe, they are gift's that are free :)

"It's alright for you to laugh "

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two old ladies tired and weary trudging down the street
Two old ladies lowered themselves down upon a seat
Two old ladies said "It's alright for you to laugh"
Two old ladies were about to be shown God's path
I'm not laughing; I'm smiling with love for you.
You wouldn't be smiling if you were Old and in Pain!
I'm not smiling because you're feeling blue
I'm smiling ‘cuz in my 30's I was afflicted too!
Arthritis consumed my body; I was crying out in pain
the agony all consuming; my body becoming lame.
I cried unto the Lord whilst sitting on my bed
I'll do anything you ask of me just take away this dread!
A friend arrived the following day, clasping a book all about
Meat
Of why we really do not need it & how the vegetable kingdom
is complete!
I eagerly tried it & within six weeks totally free from pain
Derived everything from that kingdom for my heath to sustain!
Instead of being in pain and lame
I had no reason to complain
I ventured out
Without a doubt
Teaching, caring & helping
In Jesus Name!
About this poem:
I met these two old ladies in Bundoran who were quite miserable in their pain and mistakenly thought I was laughing at them...
Yet God used that opportunity to relay good news about how I had overcome the painful condition of arthritis.
CHRISTMAS NIGHT
Sparkling crystal flakes floating
Down from Heaven above
Covering all things with a coating
Of white showing God’s love
Peaceful quiet prevails around
The moon shining on the blanket of white
As God’s love has muffled all sound
Reflecting sparkling diamonds in the light
Listening to the sounds of the night
You can hear Angels singing in the sky
Celebrating the Glory of God’s might
Gossamer wings softly beating up high
This is the night that God was born on earth
They are celebrating His triumphant arrival
That night long ago when Mary gave birth
As the Old Testament foretold in the Bible
Glory – Glory on High Heaven and Earth
Our King and Prince of Peace has arrived
He has come to give us the miracle of rebirth
For Immanuel “God with Us” is alive!
Make me Love you
Don't walk in front of me
I may not follow
Don't Walk behind me
I may not lead
Just walk beside me and be my Friend
Floating the Estuary
Entering the therapists’ room I experienced
brief and glimpse encounters
through an aquatic of grappling hands
and minds.
Yet all who proclaimed to be healers were stealers.
Among them was the highly acclaimed clairvoyant
trying to penetrate my mind.
She became overwhelmed and frustrated
finding no gateway,
abandoning me, as hopeless, mindless and useless
thrusting me towards you
the new boy
in training
untried, untested
and little thought of
too insignificant for their grandeur.
You knew that I was being cast off
furthermore thrown into your direction
as unwanted, un-repairable
too broken to restore
opinions of the soothsayer
oracles of false prediction.
The teeming room of therapist
glanced on with pity
as they exchanged fistfuls of their clients wealth
“She is covered in blood!
who can go near her” they feared
“You have her” the mystics insisted.
You held me in your arms
Then gently seating me down upon the rug
You handed me a colourless bolster bean-filled pillow.
I pressed the pillow close to my chest
hugging it like my own teddy.
You drew in close to me,
asking me to choose a colour for the pillow.
“Vivid light green, a turquoise sea” I responded
“I knew you would choose that shade” you joyfully affirmed.
Simultaneously I was on board your boat
Buoyantly floating the aquamarine estuary
You held my shoulders, gently rocking me
The boat swayed back and forth
as your healing love journeyed
exploring my complexity
through your sweet unguent scented palms.
Embracing one of your hands
descending it down my torso,
nestling it precariously on the inner part of my thigh
I enticed you into the boat with me.
While the elements gently rocked us
Your hand soothingly and sensually
fondled me into a sleepy lull.
With my back inclined into your chest
along with your arms around me I melted
into your caresses.
Nuzzling your head
into the curve of my neck and shoulder
we drifted on the calm swaying waters.
We no longer were two separate entities
however had become as one,
encircling the cool flame
of infinite love and peace
flickering through our quintessence
as the healing flame entwined each receptor
infusing the subtle energies
gracefully flowing like liquid gold
exploring our veins and vessels
entwining us like a woven blanket,
a tapestry of bliss.
Subsequently
we were curtly interrupted
from our dreamy boat
of tranquillity,
by prodding therapist
with scornful expressions
 “Totally unethical” we heard them murmur with many “tuts”
Yet nothing bothered us...
 Nonetheless we remained serene
plus undisturbed within,
there were no disturbances
within the waters of our existence.
You encircled me intimately
wrapping your arms around me firmly.
Your sensual sexuality surged
as you pressed in closely
upwelling through my spine.
Whilst both inhaling
in perfect synchronisation
the presence of the living God
filled our hearts.
When we exhaled together
all the brokenness
plus all the pain dispensed.
With each breath we shared
deeper healing occurred.
Trust and bonding grew between us
like two innocent children.
Peace and understanding was ours
to be claimed.
Fear dissipated into the sea
as Christine held us safely in her bowels.
About this poem:
A vivid dream I awoke to... then taking down notes, I compiled it into this poem
I felt the dream to be very significant and was amazed at how much I recalled.
Alone
From childhood's hour I have not been
As others were; I have not seen
As others saw; I could not bring
My passions from a common spring.
From the same source I have not taken
My sorrow; I could not awaken
My heart to joy at the same tone;
And all I loved, I loved alone.
Then- in my childhood, in the dawn
Of a most stormy life- was drawn
From every depth of good and ill
The mystery which binds me still:
From the torrent, or the fountain,
From the red cliff of the mountain,
From the sun that round me rolled
In its autumn tint of gold,
From the lightning in the sky
As it passed me flying by,
From the thunder and the storm,
And the cloud that took the form
(When the rest of Heaven was blue)
Of a demon in my view.
POSITIVITY #C
There's reason some writes touch on things dark
life doesn't equate to 'walk in the park'
Feeling our existence resembles a 'gift' insanity
exclusion of fairness a spiteful injustice to humanity
I feel pain enveloping those who suffer undeserving
societies indigents being treated as irrelevant unnerving
This despicable world mentally beats us down
some hover just above water rather than drown
Most disheartening knowing futures destined for worse
mans insatiable appetite for destruction they can't reverse
Majority believe in their gods others some devil
evils alive "god" quiet on every level
Arduous writing about 'positivity' when so little of it
that could reverse if laws had true grit
Again not a pessimist slowly turned into one
grateful if 'one' benefitted from write I done
