Angel

You were a stranger, a lady of the street who came to church one day
You opened the door and before you entered the smell of urine filled the room
and It took my breath away

I was singing in the corner as I watched you take a chair
Then many others entered and it was visible to see that they smelt you, moved across the room as to sit beside you they obviously could not bear

I felt the nudge to sit with you, to greet you offer care .
I quietly made my way over as we entered into prayer and
God completely took away the stench as soon I sat there !

You never spoke a word to me and I didn't ask your name but as I sat quietly beside you I really felt your pain

When the service ended you waited patiently to eat, then when others left I fetched a bowl of water to soak your bleeding feet

The time then came when I had to say goodbye and as I gently touched your hand you looked straight into my eyes.... then much to my great surprise
You drew in close, kissed me on my cheek ..and right there, right then, I came to realise
That you were a Angel in disguise

On the green green gras of home

Let's to see your shadows,
On the table still your empty glas
It's made me more sad
I want you come back
And to sniff your smell

Dream the African night

Her dream laid bare the African night
forest, fear and musk
beloved and woven
in this verdant meridian

The ghostly fires of the river spirits
plumes, fragrant and ancient
they are calling from the shores
shrill and elect
ride with us
rites with us
in robes majestic

That which is whispered

I caught your lines
softly spoken
echoes in the old forest

I caught your words
last birds to fly
in these the seasons
the seasons we have known

About this poem:
I wish I could always be with you.
Wrapping my arms around you
I constantly think about you.
I miss you and I love you!
Good Morning my Sweetheart
You are my life,
You are my everything
A day without you
Is like a day without sunshine
I love you! Good Morning
You are one special girl
You can take my breath away
With you, I can look forward to tomorrow
I forget all the sadness and sorrow.
I love you, dear. Good Morning
A morning text does not simply mean,
“Good morning.”
Rather, it comes with the silent loving
message,
“I think of you when I wake up.”
Good Morning my dear.

WHAT COULD MAKE YOU REGRET YOUR RELATIONSHIP

Have you ever been asked that golden question
by your partner? And I am sure most often
than not, the question doesn’t go very well
with you and you always wonder why in the
world does your partner keep asking you that
question, when they obviously know you do.

About this poem:
I've seen Pastors, seeing their fruits, whose
divine calling were doubted by people.
In same way have I seen couples that boldly
said God showed them their spouses but whose
marriages ended in divorce.
Then I ask, "Could it really be true, that God
actually called them or actually chose spouses
for them?"
Since you know it was true that Jesus asked
Peter to come on the water, yet he almost
sank, then the answer to those is "Yes, It could
be true!"
That God has shown you a line of business,
given you a talent, a spouse or has called you
into ministry is not enough to 'ground' their
respective successes.
Sometimes we relay a portion of the scripture
and asked "Could it really be true, that God
meant this for me? It is indeed true.
Just that for every sweet rice there is an
attached price.
Choice, Price and Core Values are three wise
men one would have to follow and take heed
to, if one decides to hit success in the end.
And you see: you can't get anything worthwhile
done without them.
Negligence, carelessness, pride, unforgiving
spirit, indecision, laziness, indiscipline, living a
"goalless" life, will only lead you to the palace
of REGRET!
Moreover, when you read that this is the day
that the Lord has made, and yet you launch
out and end up being sorrowful in the evening,
what would you think is missing? It is the
phrase: "I will rejoice and be glad in it!" And
this is born out of choice.
It is indeed true that He's created us as heads
to dominate, and to be above only. So choose
to live in the realisation of it. Else you'll be
beneath only!
Finally, decide to choose joy unspeakable
today: my million dollar piece of advice!
Smile still does it :) :) :)

As a matter of fact

Yes, I am something of a scoundrel
Though I have been forced
To be one
Through nature
And circumstance.

Through early grinding poverty
And a childhood
That would rip out your heart.

I am Virgo -
My ruler Mercury
Number 14 my birth date
(That's 5 in Numerology)

I am a gambler
Because of my nature
And of necessity

I am a gambler
For money.

I am a gambler
For love.

Money comes and goes
In a flash
And goes
And comes again

Women
They've been many.
(They seem to come and go also).

This is Mercury operating again
(Through conjunction with Venus I suspect).

I have only loved twice
The first time wrung
The last drop of blood out of my heart
When we broke up.

The second time much later
(More like domesticity)
Genuine affection nonetheless
For eight years of contentment
Which ended for reasons
Which I will not describe here.

I've never cheated
In these relationships

Now I am much older
Women still fascinate me.

Will I ever find "the one"?
Maybe it's third time lucky?
Who knows?

I have my faults
We all have our faults.

I make no apology
For what I am.
My poetry anthology

Describes my life
For what it is*

Chronos

For every Swing of the pendulum a
Clicking of the pawl and ring, a tiny
Turning of the outer band Offset
Gears enclosed within
Ticking one sixtieth less in arc
Encroaching the next hour

Restless heart disquieting tone a
Clapping of the cymbal pans, the
Crisscross motion sticks to drums Four
Chambers charged for rapid bursts
With the last quake held in suspension
Distinct tho' distant Thunder Roll
