Maybe there are just some of us who are meant to be single. You can spend years thinking there's someone for everyone but really, I don't think this is logical. Personally, I work so much (literally on call 24/7) to survive that I don't have the luxury of time to go out and meet new people....besides, I don't go far enough from home to meet anyone new really. I have a very demanding job that takes up most of my time....but without it, I could very easily slip into the homeless nothing where I once was and I don't even want to go there. I have the capabilities of doing work that is high in demand with good earnings....is it worth the solitude that surrounds this lifestyle? Well, I consider the alternative and I'd have to say yes. Maybe some day, my match will be just as much of a busy bee as myself and understanding for that reason...and maybe it could work....or maybe this match will be someone with more time who's willing to teach me what it's like to live simply again....who really knows honestly....just a bit of ranting here, been a lot on my mind lately and a lot of thoughts racing. I think a little mini vacation is in order before I burn the candle at both ends.

That's quite an oldfashioned sentiment, these days. Never mind what our country can do for us, the WORLD owes us a living, and is being slack about delivering.

Same with love, especially bargaining for it, the way we do on a singles website. We think hmm, what will push the most buttons? Loving: honest: fun: yeah, close enough. I'll stick those in as my description. Now describe the other half - and oh boy, woe betide them if they fail to match up exactly.

I've noticed most of the whinging on here is actually direct clues. Ever noticed how a guy who complains how much emotional baggage women bring along, hauls around a few trunks himself? And don't get me started on a current popular trend in the blogs, how difficult women can be. Ready to bet good money some of you guys have been, and will be, happiest being treated like dirt by difficult women. It's the nice normal women who seem to get kicked in the teeth.

There ARE nice normal women. No, seriously. I've met at least two.

I am writing a story, I still don't know whether it will be a short story, novelet, novel. It's only the opening. I'd like to share with you all, as I'd like to know whether this opening is catchy enough to get your attention. Will it make you curios and keep on reading, or you think it's boring.

So here I am, with a man whom (I thought) I used to love. I never realize until now that I am still in love him, now that he’s in front of me.
