Okay going to probably need a bit of help here, listing those joys.

However I just ate a garlic and herb flatbread and that is definitely one of them!

The last time I wrote about this topic, I was chastised to such extend, that it led to yours truly (and a few others) being suspended for ten days. Now, in retrospect, I know that there was another motive behind the attack. So, while it is safe to go back into the water, exactly what is a One-Night Stand?

The best definition I found describes it as a sèxual encounter without any future expectations or emotional commitment, lasting only one night..

It would seem that if the act is repeated in future, or if there were future expectations or emotional commitment, it no longer qualifies as a one-night stand.

But what if they separate as planned and ten years later, they have sex again? Is it another One-Night Stand or does the second encounter cancel the first One-Night Stand? Can the same two people have more than one One-Night Stands? Or does that classify under no strings attached?

If I understand this right, we cannot call it a One-Night Stand if the relationship was terminated prematurely for some reason while the couple had future expectations or emotional commitment at the time, even though they had sex only once.

Enlighten me please?

If you're a woman, I mean, and (desperately) seeking men?

I've had photo ratings from women, not very good ones, but never noticed a female face on my WVM list. Surely they had to have looked at the profile to click on photos? So much to learn.

Just interested to know whether men can see men looking, or women can see women, since I had a look at the competition in Scotland and don't want to make the local lasses nervous.

I switched WVM off in the past so I could flit around unseen and keep a favourites list: apparently every time you look at your favourites, you appear on each of their WVM lists. Haven't done that so far with Elegsabiff and am fascinated to see in the short time the profile has been up I have had nearly 1000 views, not bad for an old baggage with unflattering pics.

I've been favourited 6 times, wow, I LIKE that. If women DON'T show up on a woman's WVM list, I can set up a few favourites myself without looking like a stalker about to change my orientation.

This always completely boggles my mind. Call me impulsive, call me foolish....but alas, I am a gemini and I do tend to act how I feel at any given moment, with how I feel. My emotions are often expressed freely....not sure if that is such a flaw, I guess it all depends on how ya look at it. Anyway....not to distract from the initial topic...

What are men and women afraid of? This seems to be the biggest issue in dating on my end. Why must a couple start off as friends first? What is this etiquette in dating to "wait" for this or it's "too soon" for that...funny thing is, divorce rate is higher these days than it ever has been and many years ago, romance and chivalry ruled relationships and things weren't always over-analyzed like they are today. People fell in love without worrying about which steps to take when in the relationship...they used their hearts rather than racking the brains....and then, in staying together, they actually resisted the impulse to jump ship when things got rocky.

What are you afraid of....commitment? Getting hurt? fear of the thoughts of another of you? What's the big deal.....if the connection is there, it's there...why over-analyze....if it's not broke, don't fix it. Men (not all) want to have sex within the first few days but then say it's too soon for feelings.....well...but it's not too soon to give you everything physically? And this is why I don't get involved physically unless I'm in a relationship ....some will say anything just to get the physical gratification but when it comes to any kind of feeling or commitment, they start shaking in their shoes. What's wrong with people? Or is is me? If it is, then so be it....This is me lol....

I want to cry - or shake her (gently - she is 87, after all) and say NO, damnit, remember the good times and forget that thing he said, he was old, he was senile, he didn't mean it, he can't have meant it.

Many of us men have been there. I recall as a much younger man, being in bed with a younger Indian girl, Sunita, daughter of a ranking military family, emigrees from the Subcontinent, who, at the time in central California, were wont to go into the cheap hotel business on retiring.
