cheese monster

I remember
dancing for joy
Sitting on an open shelf
This beautiful maiden
Strolls into the shop
As my eyes whistled
She picked me up

Holding me in her hands
Smiling down at me
Excited
Oh I love
Words had trembling effect
with this cheese

Taking me home
You took a little bite
tasting sweet lips
Nibbling
Out of me
Lips softly grin
bursting flavour
Almost cheesy
Licking delicious

Opening a door
You placed me
on top shelf
Felt like royalty
Lights out wow

The last face
I remembered
Ever so beautiful
Weeks pass
Feeling almost
out of date
Left in the dark

A smell started
in fungus hair
Taking over
almost septic
Crawling green
in mildew

Beautiful maiden
Awaiting you in dreams
You open the door
Squealing out
Monsters
in the fridge

All I done
was shout cheese
Smile darling
I am
all yours
Sweet love

Thrown in a bag
Broken hearted
with the rubbish
Shouting
That's me done
With cheese

It was so sad
The green hairy
old monster
Began crying
Now smile
for cheese

As you will not like
To see the ugly side
Of the green
hairy old
Cheese monster

Wondering

I have sat and often wondered why,
pondered over words left unsaid,
I tried to contact you, I really did try,
you never answered me, you let you friends do instead,

They told me that I was not the one for you,
that to be a man and let it go,
very hard to say or do, especially as my love was true,
I had so much love for you, it was always on show,

Now your buried and hidden away,
you even left the site we met,
I never did get the chance to have my say,
you found it so easy to say forget,

Now I have wondered all the why`s,
and it is now in plain sight,
I no longer think of you and sigh,
your love was transparent as the light,

You told me of your past hurts and how you was never loved,
I did my best to prove and right this wrong,
how you wanted all to be, soft and gentle like a dove,
while you were here I was what you wanted and my love was strong,

Now your gone and hiding away like some thief,
scared to talk or even show your face,
your own written words now beggar`s belief,
you broke my heart, that was a disgrace,

So you hide in your rose coloured world of pain,
telling people how your scared and hurt,
I was a poor choice, from me you had little to gain,
my words now, are not so nice but very curt,

I thank you from the bottom of my heart,
I have my freedom to choose again,
no longer will I wonder why were apart,
you are nothing, but memories stain.

About this poem:
Yes we all wonder why someone whom we thought loved us as much as we loved them decides to break off and run away, using excuses and not real reasons to end the relationship, your mind goes through all the patterns of whys, whatever's but eventually it sinks in to yourself, that you loved them more than they loved you, so they running from the relationship really showed how shallow their love was in the first place.

My Walk

Today I went for a drive and a walk,
I chose the place where I first took you,
to see if I could enjoy this and maybe meet someone to talk,
I remember so much, how you enjoyed the view,

Along that stretch of pier,
looking across those men of steel,
thinking of your love I held so dear,
wondering in my mind now, how you feel?,

I walked slowly on the sands,
where your picture I took by that statue you posed,
no longer was I there with you holding hands,
I assume now, that picture you have disposed,

You had your first taste of fish and chips,
all wrapped in paper and no forks too,
whilst here this became your favourite dish,
all this I remember as I stood their looking at the view,

Walking quietly and softly on the sands,
not wearing my hearing aids to deaden the sound,
I wonder if you think of me in your homelands,
memories linger on and all around,

Wind fresh and brisk in my face,
walking quite a distance so I tire out,
searching for you, but no longer a trace,
mind clear but heart still holding that doubt,

I watched the sun set over the waters,
slight drizzle a soft refrain,
I hope all is well with you and your daughters,
Moving away and walking back to my car, will I ever see you again.

Another Time Or Other Place

So often I still think of you
and I wonder if you sometimes do it too.
For the land you live in now
is way too far from here.
But it was you who drew the line;
that choice was never mine.

You’ve been gone for many years
and much too late now it is for tears.
Oh, if only I could know then
just half of what I know now,
I surely would have gone the other way
to crush this life’s wicked play.

Do you ever sit and wonder
about the times we spent back yonder?
Do you ever stare into empty space
to see how it might have been,
if you and I were born
in another time or other place.

Hi to ya all, this is my very first try at writing a poem, so if the structure and technique is not right, please don't shoot me.

It is dedicated to a girl I once loved. A young love so true, but forbidden by the circumstances of the time.

the trust game

Trust me you say? I trust you with my life. Do this for me you say, make your self vonerable to my way,yet why should I? You want my total vonerability?, yet you cant give me yours. Love is built on trust, what a joke! Trust is earned through deeds unbroken. You say trust me,yet you don't, why continue this silly game?, when played nothing is gained, only sarrow and broken hearts remain.

About this poem:
just thinking how internet dating seem to be built on blind trust, yet no one truly can trust any one thanks to all the scammers. If a man truly wants my trust then he must show himself in person to me first. I have yet to meet any of the so called romancers

YOU AVOID IT AIN'T EASY

YOU AVOID IT AIN'T EASY

You were so sweet when I
laid my eyes on you
something sparked up like
fire

now you avoid me and it ain't easy
you avoid me and it ain't easy

every now and then you want me is it a fleeting desire
I know your moves like the back of my hand I'm still on fire

and you know you avoid me and it ain't easy
you avoid me and it ain't easy

I know your'e in pain
pills talk a comfort zone stopping you going insane
I get what you telling me
you don't want to share you're misery there will be victory

you don't wanna bring me down
yet you don't want me to go away
should I stay dumbfounded see and wait
or is this a used by date

you hide from me 'til you want me there
yeah you avoid me 'til you want me again

I know your moves like the back of my hand I'm still on fire
still on fire still got desire

you were so sweet then
so sweet now
still thinking of you
don't know how
so sweet it makes me dreamy
dreamy dreamy
and this ain't easy

Untitled

no more sunshine to brighten my day
no more smiles along the way
lost now but memories
faded as a dream
as i am falling apart it seems
maybe life to you is better
as sit here wearing a scarlett letter
god is lost from me
far from my echoing plea
seem my life has lost its pose
seems my life is a wilted rose

Searching for a star

listening to the falling rain,
gently across my window pane,
wondering what this world may be,
will it make a man out of me.
i've heard all the stories been told ,
all the treasures a man can hold,
what to become thee,
will your love always hold me,
as i look to the skys ,i search for a star,
trying to figure out ,just how far,
and i look into your eyes and truly i see,
the reflextion of a man to be.
watching the sun slowly fall,
shadows cast across these wall,
learning what you already knew,
sonia,tonight were are you.
can't take back the things i said,
all the nights i slept alone in bed,
ohh sonia i wish you could see,
the new man inside me,
as i look to the sky ,i search for a star,
trying to figure out ,just how far,
trying to figure out what you see,
as the reflextion shows the image of me.

Footsteps

flicking slicing
I love to swipe

then rove my eye
who grabbed
the towel

but who are you again
a loud best howl

seep me through

laugh your way
haunts me
to try to stay

grab me
see me
of all that you see

I drink
for only free

running veins
of bad
a lock.
for a key

yet a quiet
pasture
of picnic

I taste

the sea
