Beauty Around

My mind is in the clouds
as i marvel at God's
handy work as i marvel
at all He can do and
who He is.
The simplest things
impress me as i hear
a bird sing.
As i listen to natures
sound and watch all
that is around me.
Now can you tell how
miraculous He is.
All that He has
accomplished and all
He will if we just
let him.
Ask Him to lead our
path for our life.
Ask Him to show us the
way for your life today.
Pray to Him to show you
the way each and every day.

Her

No one understood
what my heart
was searching for...

No one could tell
what my soul
really needed...

Only God knew
my seeking
my desires...

He created her
her soul
her flesh...

He created her
beautiful rose
just for me...

I will protect
her from
burning sun...

Keep her warm
in the cold
nights to come...

With her
I will dance
in the rain...

Weighing All

Sits in judgment, this life of chance
present to twelve chosen women, men
weighing all that lies in balance
what behavior could not amend

present to twelve chosen women, men
as around the table, with awareness show
what behavior could not amend
‘til the hour nears for the c*ck to crow

as around the table, with awareness show
all that is for them to know
‘til the hour nears for the c*ck to crow
when justice has nowhere else to go

all that is for them to know
guardian angels gates do tend
when justice has nowhere else to go
twelve, sharing, caring at the end

guardian angels gates do tend
where innocence freed, guilt pays for sin
twelve, sharing, caring at the end
step forward, to let time begin, again.

where innocence freed, guilt pays for sin
weighing all that lies in balance
step forward, to let time begin, again.
Sits in judgment, this life of chance.

Beautiful Things

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----Its a moment of grace when the sun gives His light
A new chance for redemption a new hope for a life
But as it rises it falls, when you stand will you break
Does it end or begin with the size of your faith.
Through My satelite observations I can see deeper than skin
I see a stranger walk by and says hello with a grin
Connecting one through another as another tries to adhere
You just take in a deep breath and wish it all disappears
I have seen your destruction, I have seen all your hate
I have looked in your hearts and I have seen all your pain
But I have painted the sky for your hopes and your dreams
Even though at times it may seem that this world can be cold
In your eyes I have seen beautiful things.

The Prince and the Angels

It seems there was not long ago
A prince and all his angels
They sallied forth to ride around
To investigate earth's problems

They rode north to ice cold lands
Amongst the snow, sleet and hail
On they searched, even under rocks
But find something they did not

They turned around and south they rode
To climates so much warmer
To places where the sun shone bright
But answers none forthcoming

They rode towards the rising sun
Through streams and up the mountains
There they stood on top of the world
But not finding what they were seeking

Once again off they set
With view of sun slowly setting
This was last chance's hope
And yet their hope was forsaken

So much pain and so much grief
The prince stood there dejected
All around his angels wailed
To see this earth's suffering

What must he do to make us see
To stop what we are doing
Bring joy back to the prince
And have his angels rejoicing

Morpheus

Morpheus my sweet lover
How I long for thee
Wrap your arms around me
Take me to new places to see

Each night I come to seek thee
I have a desperate need
Day time is for all to share
The night belongs to you and me

He Is There For You

For the Lord shall lift
you up in time of bad.
Giving you the strength
and courage to carry on.
He will be your rock in
all times good or bad.
God will send who you
need to be your support
to climb over the hurdles.
He will not leave you
out in the cold.
He will not forsake you.
He will always be your
guiding light to show
you the way.
There will never be a
time where he gives
you to much to handle
as he will be there
carrying you.

Hands of Easter

His hands touched the blind man
his hands touched the leper
his hands reached for people
caught up in a world of darkness.

Now Palm Sunday comes
hosannas fill the air,
but He knew the road
would lead Him elsewhere.

A cross of wood, a crown of thorns
Betrayal and those horrid spikes,
pierce the hands that wrought
love and kindness here on earth.

Easter is not about the eggs,
but about the love of God
giving up his only son
to pay a price that was not his.

To pay a debt for me,
to pay a debt for all
This is ever ever true
he died and rose for all.

""Self Esteem""

Self-esteem
is a point when one
feels low or under the gun
What must one do, but make it fun?

Self-Esteem starts, on page one
where Self-Respect, must be done
we must mature, before we come
to the place, of Proven Ones!

now you've earned, manys Respect
the word is out, but what the heck
now we must walk, by Deeds and Trust
As an Example, of His true Love!

next thing we learn
Is have "NO FEAR"
trust, Hope and Faith
but "NEVER" Doubt Love!

Pilate's sink

a study was done recently on
the act of washing hands
and reported in Science
by researchers from U of MI
the washing-away-your-sins metaphor
seems more than metaphor
the physical sense of clean,
oilless skin against skin
enhances the mental, spiritual
sense that we are cleansed
above the muck of pride
and envy and jealousy
and greed and anger.

i wonder if the tomes
written about when Pontius
washed his hands of it,
the whole Pareses and Christ
thing, the actual act
the dripping fingers,
water splashing to marble
or a clay bowl released
the stress of dominion
of one life over another,
that he did the right thing,
and Pilate was able to
lay down and sleep peacefully.

did the SS troops pour
water into helmets after
cleaning their pistols
to stand above their violence.
the more mundane cheating
of poor, taking hard earned coin,
can that be cleansed with
a mere handy wipe packet.
can atrocities wash away
from memory, as rivers of tears
flow from menace stained eyes.
