MISSING LINK!

It's a scientific revolution!
A superstitious quick solution

It's an intellectual inovation
A genetic remake of God's creation

It's Origin Mania in
perpetual transition

An Evolutionary Smackdown
of our Primal Condition

It's a host of theories
struggling for Survival

Anything they'll believe
But God and The Bible

Even the Stars are
dragged from their
lofty Height

And thoroughly Ravagged
of their Spectral Light

NOW..

Astrologically Persuaded
That from Stardust
Are we Dated

Stardust sprinkling
Earths Atmosphere..
Behold! The Pop-Up
People suddenly Appear!

But is the mathematics
of Human Logic
squarely the root
of Stellar Magic!

Or the Spontaneous Act
of a Living God..
Breathing the
Breath of Life
in a Lifeless Clod

An Idolatrous Imagination
Bows to Sophistical
Disinformation

And in spite of all
we Do and Think..

ALMIGHTY GOD
IS THE
MISSING LINK!

Sunset

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----Not for the life of me
Will I ever know if this where I should be
Over there the grass is green
But I will stay here and plant a new tree
They have never taken root before
Reminds me there is a lesson down every road
Maybe I will think my choices over again
But maybe this time a new road will begin
One that leads me to my destiny
How strange it took my demons to set me free
From a life of restitution
And save myself from my own self destruction
So my skies are no longer just night and day
Somewhere in the middle is a different shade
But thats where I found my peace of mind
I think I will paint my fence and rest in the new shade on my side

About this poem:
I could not think of a title but one that took me to that place as I planted a dying crape myrtle in my back yard.

The Return

After The Fall
both
could no longer
deny their desires
even as they
faced life without
God in the garden -
hiding their sexuality
instead of
just being.
Knowledge made them more responsible for
life
making
nothing
out of something
proved their challenge.
Quietly
resigned to their
sin,
they
uttered names with
voices pure
while
‘xtreme isolation and
yearnings
zoomed in on them.

Anew

As earthquakes rumble
expand to split the surface
lives engulfed by loss

Tsunami washes
the earth’s crust while salty tears
seep into the core

Hearts shaken, broken
lovely lives drowned, buried, as
seasons’ sun radiates.

Still underneath skin
hope courses veins, awaiting.
Spring, where is thy bloom?

This Rock

Embedded image from another site

Breathe it in than beathe it out
What took me a life time just to figure out
That what I've been is not what I should be
And who I am takes me away from me

The current is moving fast and I'm moving slow
Holding onto the anchors that I should let go
But You cast a net and it draws me near
It seems the closer that I get I drift away in fear

The breaking water reflects what I've become
As you put the pieces back where I have come undone
But I will pull off my pride and swim to shore
Bring me back to the place that I was once before

Is this where I am for Your sake
Drowning from the ripples of my own wake
But Im coming in so please cover me
And On This Rock Lord please comfort me

If Only

If only God would clearly tell us
exactly what to say and do
I’d wake up smiling each morning
reading instructions, following through.

Life, however, is more complex.
God’s words translated though the ages
leave one to thoughtfully ponder,
Read words from which book of pages?

A student of the Bible
from Methodist heritage days
King James Version was preferred choice
shaped my mind and set my ways.

Thus, I take the commandments
the ten from which I was taught
and try to fit them into my life
by lessons life has wrought.

One professes belief in God
yet from self love does not ensue
while another filled with doubt
lives according to the Golden Rule.

Which life would make it into heaven?
Which life would be condemned to hell?
With what existence does each leave us?
Seek answers or wait for God to tell?

A love letter...

Mi Amor Jocelyn,

The other night, I dreamed of you,
the heavens thundered
and your face appeared
from within birthing clouds...

I cannot wait to marry you,
it will be the start
of a lifelong passionate dream,
that I never awake from...

I slept last night
wishing sunbeams find you,
with all your fears behind you
dream a little dream of me...

I miss you so much,
that I may drag you out,
of my slumber dream
and hold you for real...

I will dream of you tonight,
tomorrow and the rest of my life,
there is no other place I'd rather be
than in my room dreaming of you...

You see Mi Amor, eternity is forever...Forever with you is a dream come true...You are my midday sun, my light that overcomes the darkness...In my dreams you are mine....The future is ours because we believe in our dreams...I will marry you mi vida..Te amo mucho...

Amor and I

Mi amor and I
sometimes argue
over little things
still we say, "I love you."

My love and I
always fight fair
cos still we
breathe the same air...

Mi amor and I
never shake fists or shout
or raise voices
each other we cannot live without

My love and I
our love is natural
we are forever soul mates
we are eternal...

Mi amor and I
are two very old trees
on top of lush green hill
amidst a warm summer breeze...

Perception

Embedded image from another site

The difference between something and nothing could be a matter of perception
Once and if I control that depth would I see a better mans reflection
If my faith is truly believing in something that I cannot see
Than am I bound by my heart as my hands surf upon a gentle breeze
In order to determine whether we know anything with certainty
We first have to doubt everything we know and let our minds roam free
The fear of death follows only from the fear of life
A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time
So as my hands collapse upon bent knees then will my Father take me back
Then I believe that life is worth living and my belief will help create the fact

Sweet Babe of Bethlehem

Oh sweet babe of Bethlehem,
How sweet Your name sounds...
Jesus, Saviour sent by God
The Jehovah come to save, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem,
What cruelty Thou didst have to face...
From birth to death the same
So let us learn to bear with grace, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem,
When a situation defies us
Let us not just give up, but have courage
To face life with a mild boldness, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem
Give us the humility we need
To understand others and be helpful
When ever we can, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem,
Fill us with Your love always
Let us not seek to do evil in all our life
Even pardoning enemies, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem,
Give us the joy and peace we need
Through hardships, torture or abuse
But let us vision glory after death, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem,
Fill us with the gifts of knowledge
That we may be wise, and never let anyone
Make us forget the reason of Thy birth, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem,
What hipocrasy fills the world, here and there
Malls filled with people, merry and bright
But let us just give the good news, as Thou didst!

Oh sweet Babe of Bethlehem,
Make us lend a hand, a warm heart
To show the love that you were bestowed to show
And make all believe God, as Thou didst!
