300th poem "Mine to Blame"

Those careless days as selfishness reveals
Where once all love was missing from my heart
Least solace for my fellow mans' ideals
Whose wealth only serves to set us apart

Be gentle still while my compassion swirls
Wonderful thoughts fancied soon fleeting gone
My Master would make strings of perfect pearls
As I would have no luck to happen on

Ah me, I stumble on paths well trodden
Discarded shells glitter in my wet hands
In my pockets full of weeds well sodden
Piled up on an oceans' broken sands

Like searching into a soul I would tame
If for only my life was mine to blame

About this poem:
I am deeply reflective with self awareness on this most festive day of Thanksgiving...like my Puritan fathers before me....is my fate upon the shores of new and wild land.

Time

Time covers all the
issues in your life.
Time will heal all
things if you just
let it be.
Time is the issue that
GOD will take care of.
HE will show you what
is the way for you.
HE is the answer to
every question.
Just let HIM be the
answer and the key.
HE is always there
for you and me.
Lord i give you my
life if you give me
time to do your will.
Just give me peace so
i can be still and listen.

Here I Am

Face the day, face the moment
Could not see these tears
Here I am, solemnly seeking
A comfort from my fears
In these days I cry out in anger
My voice not recognized
Is it me or have I fallen
From your sight

I need to know if it's gonna be
Forever like this between you and me
It's a constant struggle for my faith
And I want to believe
So here I am, please take my hand
Lead me into your arms
Cause right now I need a shoulder
I need a shoulder

People say that time is wasting
Just living for today
Cause we're not promised tomorrow
Tomorrow is too far away
In these days I cry out in anger
My voice not recognized
Oh God look down upon me
For I am blind

I need to know if it's gonna be
Forever like this between you and me
It's a constant struggle for my faith
And I want to believe
So here I am, please take my hand
Lead me into your arms
Cause right now I need a shoulder
I need a shoulder

A Grain of Sand

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----If I carried a grain of sand
And I placed it on some distant land
I did this over a billion times
Im still no closer to eternal life

About this poem:
“Just remember: If one bird carried every grain of sand, grain by grain, across the ocean, by the time he got them all on the other side, that would only be the beginning of eternity." - Truman Capote

the rose

master oshiba was in the garden ,
meditating in front of a beautiful
rose bed.

a young disciple came and asked a question:

-venerable master,what's love ?

-contemplate the roses.
replied master oshima.

after a moment of contemplation,
the youngster said :

-master,love is just a foolish illusion !

go now on your path and come back only in possession of a rose
who never wither ! concluded master oshima.

Never Alone

There is hope
for the weary,
joy for the sad,
love for the loveless.

There is life
for the burdened,
peace for the soul
a road to wholeness

Jesus our hope
for the traveller
for all on life's
turbulent sea.

A cross is there
a soul to meet,
salvation awaits
all who believe.

"Come unto me"
and he did say
I will not ever
cast you away.

God versus Free Will

If a God exists as is perceived,
there's no free will, as is believed,

I travel on my pre-destined ways,
organised by he who says,

For he would know well in advance,
my plans, my thoughts, its not by chance,

If I'm in this world by his design,
tis he who knows, he draws the line,

When I was born he would know the date,
of my demise, my final fate,

He would know my plans, what I would do,
my good deeds, my bad ones too,

I'd have no choice, I can't change lanes,
or throw a dice,,or take the reins,

If I am a product of his creation,
should I dance with joy, with elation?

For he would have made me what I am,

and knew.............

exactly............

what I'd do,

So, if I'm good, it's by his hand,
and I get to see the promised land,

If I'm bad, and I should fall,
twas he also made that call,

He cant complain or punish me
for things I've done that he could see,

And if I'm flawed, it's not down to me,
Look to God,
if thats how I came to be,

I didn'nt make myself you see,.

my life I dont need to justify,
if I do,,,,,,,

It's all a lie,,

Jesus' middle name

I've heard tell a tale
that's halfway in my mind
that Jesus had a middle name
both saintly and refined

theologians deliberate on what it was
dispute and turn over and debate
and argue endlessly religious ways
but surmise it may have begun with H

It may have been Hachaliah,
- who waits for the Lord
or maybe Hanameel,
- the grace that comes from God

perhaps Mary gave him Hasadiah,
- the mercy of the Lord
or perchance Joe said call him
Hiddai - a praise; a cry

or another idea of
Heresh - a carpenter
or maybe they decided on
Hosanna - save I pray thee

It may have been lost to
unknown tomes and scriptures
but sometimes it's revealed
and whispered Jesus H. Christ
