My Female Other Half - Past Lives

I think in some past lives, I was a girl,
Swept down that river - Sacred Feminine;-
And like the shell which once contained a pearl,
Was washed by Time, and freed of all my sin.

Some men say I am hard - and others strange,
They do not know the half of it I say;-
Great Cosmic Engine, where atoms re-arrange,
And Energies disperse and go their Way.

Many times re-born, and died, great wheel of Time;-
That spins the stars around - great light of day,
And when it's night, those stars begin their climb,
To shower Earth and Heaven with each ray.

I feel echo of past lives, which once were mine;-
Feel the sense of some great Eternity;-
I feel it as my pen construes this rhyme,
Made of stardust from some distant Galaxy.

I feel it when I meet a lady's eyes,
(I'm happy in the body I'm in now);-
Although it never comes as a surprise;-
To feel afresh, what I already know.

THE LITTLE VIOLET

Far-Far away in a dark forest so deep
A little violet awoke from its long winter’s sleep
Slowly lifting its head up towards the sky
To see all the migrating birds fly by

Thinking and wishing wistfully at times sighing
To be a bright yellow beautiful dandelion
Basking in the lovely warm sunshine
Instead of in the deep dark shade of the pine

To be bold and out in the open for all to see
Instead hiding in the forest under all the trees
Then suddenly it heard a great powerful noise
Peeking out it saw a machine pushed by a boy

Moving across a lawn cutting all in its path
And suddenly the little violet was feeling very glad
That it was in the forest hid away from all
As it watched the beautiful yellow dandelions fall

Haiku Duet.

the falling moonlight
shattered in golden fragments
on the dazzling sea

~~~~~
the blazing sunset
danced on the ocean like flames
and scorched the skyline
When Shall my Sun Sets
Too many poems written in the past
Wondering just in case I wouldn’t last
Childhood visions of a short-lived life
Reminding me as it keeps coming back
Was it the turmoil of my yesteryears
Or the challenges I had to grin and bear
Stoically trained this heart, this mind to sway
Outside my box; champion those who cannot play?
I welcomed change and challenges with hands wide-open
No fear in loving and trusting someone I barely knew
Leaving my loved ones, my comfort zone behind
To cross the ditch more than half a score ago!
There was no other dream but see the world around.
Instead, I found me rather in this small rural town.
Stripped off everything my heart has grown to love
But my soul was nourished; He took away my frown!
The unknown messing-up my mind with doubts, with fear
Not knowing how many curve balls awaits me each year
Yet my journey's laid down; I know I must press on
Until my soul goes back to Him, finally my soul to heal!
I’ve seen ugly; I've seen beautiful; not much in between
I tried to lend a hand; the ripple's too small for change
Every tear from every eye I’ve seen, every broken-hearted ones
It comes from something else; from God would be strange!
And as each day pans out; my fears and pain go out of mind
An urge to keep another soul safe; respecting her tears
Encouraging, empowering; day and night until she knows
She’s not alone, her faith restored; she's without fears!
While all the times the weight I carry gets more heavy
Turning my soul weary as the day sucks away my energy
I plod along, as I retire each day another soul I know,
Understands, soothes my soul even on days dreary!
Instead of anger or bitterness, I will be grateful instead
When it’s my turn, though bittersweet; I’ll drink my cup and won’t forget
The beautiful sunrises and sunsets admired and seen across the globe
May mine be as warm, as beautiful when to the West my sun shall set!!!
About this poem:
Life's journey; fear does cripple us in many ways! Death is scary so is sickness and strife yet sometimes when we've done our very best...sometimes...the fear goes away...gratitude and acceptance take its place! Life can be likened to a beautiful day that starts with a glorious sunrise and an awe-inspiring sunset!
I haven't written for a long time; years I think. I have not been well many a few times this year and I believe that when one writes a poem for someone it really comes from their heart. I just wanted to express my gratitude to my husband who without fail has gone beyond my expectations each day I am not well. I feel blessed that I can come home at the end of a challenging day knowing that I have someone who understands what I am going through!
ACCEPT ME AS I AM
Embedded image from another site
I may not be the same as you
Seeing things with a different view
Feeling things and reacting to them
Doesn’t make me an abnormal friend
Trying to make fun of me
And trying to change me to please
Making my confidence completely fold
Not everyone fits the same mold
I accept you the way you are
Not everyone is an outgoing shining star
Some of us are quiet and serious
Sometimes acting quite mysterious
That doesn’t make us an object to ridicule
Or to be made felt like a complete fool
Please be kind and gentle with us
Don’t push and make such a fuss
ANGEL RUBY
/kf/HTB1S7_LPVXXXXX9XVXXq6xXFXXXT/Diy-Angel-Girl-Flowers-oil-painting-by-numbers-wall-decor-picture-on-canvas-oil-paint-coloring.jpg_640x640.jpg
You were born such a beautiful jewel
How could anyone be so cruel
Your life was spread before you
What wonderful things you would do
No one knows what you could have been
We can only wonder and pretend
You should have lived a long and beautiful life
Doing all kinds of things like riding a bike
You will never be able to do all these things
As your life was cut short by death’s sting
One you trusted to love and protect you - betrayed
And your last moments were spent afraid
We will light a candle to remember and send our love
You are a red star shining far up above
Glowing brightly with your Heavenly Father safe and sound
The most beautiful – prettiest – little Angel Ruby to be found
About this poem:
June 6, 2020 is the 1st Anniversary of the death of Baby Ruby. Still trying to find out what happened to her father - not sure if he is in jail or not. Drug rehab is not the full punishment for something as horrendous as this.https://ae01.alicdn.comUpdate 6/17/2019: They held a Candle Vigil at the St. Patrick's Cemetery where Baby Ruby was killed by her father. At the beginning they read my poem: Angel Ruby. I was not able to attend by listened to the video and sitting here crying. ......6/12/2019: I'm terribly upset. There was a 8 month baby girl about 1/2 mile away from where I live whose father raped, sexually assaulted her and killed her and she was found 25 feet away from shore in a pond. It blows my mind how a father can do this. So close to Father's Day but my guess is he won't win the reward for Father of the year. He is sitting in jail hopefully for life. And with his jail mates that life may not be so long. Her name was Ruby. Such a beautiful little baby.
STAR CHILD
Embedded image from another site
Masses of star dust floating around
Gathering slowly becoming a form
Rotating faster and faster they go
Getting bigger making an impressive show
Crashing into each other with fiery fury
Sending more dust out in a flurry
To float away until settling down again
In a place where they cause life to begin
A system brilliantly started by the Creator
Beginning His plan that would end much later
Out of this stardust Man was formed
Gradually becoming perfectly transformed
Today I look up and wish on the stars
That someday I will return way up far
Thinking of my Creator with a big smile
I will someday be with Him as I am a Starchild
PROMISED LIGHT
Darkness gradually creeping into all souls
Making us feel no longer whole
Day after day living in the darkness of despair
No hope for light seen – bowing heads in prayer
In the middle of our darkest of days
A promised tiny light came to say
“I am” the one who has come to save
The World and today is my Birthday
About this poem:
The darkness of winter days seems endless. Then around the shortest day of the year we celebrate the birth of the light of the world - the tiny baby - Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
WHEN THE WORLD STOOD STILL
Embedded image from another site
Suddenly the world stood still
Silence spread across the land
Not even the song of a bird trill
Every peep and movement banned
A feared darkness spread over all
Inhabitants tucked in their abodes
Not wanting company coming to call
Afraid that the darkness would implode
At first desiring for all to be normal
To get back to the way things were
But were things really abnormal
And a permanent change about to occur
For out of the darkness good things came
Bravery – kindness – caring – new friends
Supporting others – not knowing their name
For no doubt the World had transcend
TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE
She may seem timid, innocent and naïve
Trying to let on she will do nothing but please
But other women can tell what is going on
She’s trolling for her next victim not dating fun
Sweetly passive she may seem to be
A switch from women who don’t give free
From other countries exotic beauties call to thee
Beware for things may not be what they seem to be
I know someone who married one of these
Dark exotic beauties as innocent as can be
After a year she emptied the bank account and left
Went home to her boyfriend after her theft
They had a baby together and lived on the money
Of her loving gullible American honey
The moral of this story is as plain as can be
If she seems too good to be true – this I can believe
About this poem:
This happened to a cousin of mine who married a dark haired beauty from South America - she wanted to come to America and live like a Queen. Took all his money and went back to South America and now living like a Queen with her boyfriend and their baby. True story. Beware! American women may not be all honey and pie - but at least some of us are honest.
