Falling soul

Life and soul
within jeopardy's reach
rolling water
runs down
The face changes
blood hounds kiss red
the beast ravishing inside hunger

Rising warm burning
within each and every beat
one star gazing beauty
invading desires burn
sizzling hot
with sweet raw
dazzling passion
every word sparkles
with a smile

Howling into
the dark space
in a clear night sky
wishing lonely
in this dream
staring upon
a full
pale white moon face
in distant thoughts smiling

I would darling
sweetheart lay
my life
down honey
for only
you my love
Leaving the soul
in your
capable hands
walking inside
the garden

Holding us together
forever young and free
blooming always to you
Petals softly glow
warming enchanting magic
Swept away I am
on a celestial breeze
in an after space
bliss is heaven
in your arms

Sweet baby you're an angel
leaving an army of kisses
safely under your pillow
Each one to kiss every last single dream
so perfectly true
shining such light
on only you love

Lovedrunk

Throbbing and pulsing
Coursing through the veins
Beats the rhythm of love and passion
Driving me insane
Wanting to hold you ever so much
My mysterious lover
I long for your touch
My soul dances in frenzy
A restless energy
Humming all around me
I swear, I am going crazy.
Like a fine wine from Italy
I have matured and blossomed...
And now I want to be loved exquisitely.
See, I have drunk deep
Of the well of love
And dallied by the spring of romance
Till now the senses aflame
I only want to hear you call my name
In my mind I can see
Us laughing loving
Endlessly
Walks in the park
And kisses after dark
Loving till the moon has gone
And given way to the sun
Shades of color
in disarray
Telling the story
Of passion's sway
So come quick
Make thyself known
My mysterious lover...
Just thinking of you makes me moan

In Their Shadow.....

My prayer today for parents true,
Decent people to their core,
Resting 'neath a shady yew,
Safe with God, their worries o'er.
Sad verses penned, with gulping tears,
A poignant anniversary,
How swiftly pass the ebbing years,
Since they became a memory.
Dad was strict, poor behaviour banned,
While Mam was kind, I reminisc,
Imprinted on my rear, the palm of his hand,
Embedded on my cheek, her gentle kiss.
They raised us right, all brothers three,
Tight rules and respect abounded there,
Each night we said.."The Rosary"
Kneeling beside a kitchen chair.
Times were hard, but they'd seen worse,
Poverty ne'er our lives impede,
. Love was abundant, while money scarce,
Though financially poor, we were wealthy indeed.
A mark of respect, a word of thanks,
They prepared us well for future life,
Those welcome hugs, and well deserved spanks,
A magical cure for sibling strife.
Fond thoughts today of good instilled,
Such dedication of parents strong,
A celebration of lives fulfilled,
Forever in their shadow, we journey on.
We feel them now, their presence still,
Behind the stars, quietly peeping,
Alive in memory, and always will,
They have not died, just softly sleeping.
The trials of life they fought and won,
We're grateful now eternally,
For all the blessings that first begun,
In our simple Irish family !

About this poem:
Our parents lived united into their eighties,
Both dying within a few months of each other.

Dad (Mick) would say.....
"Society has taken away "the slap"....
But replaced it with nothing !"

Mam ( Maggie ) would say.....
"Entice birds to your garden
they bring smiles.....
and smiling is a cheap way to
improve your looks."

God bless them both !

Tired

I'm tired of pretending to be happy
When inside I'm feeling crappy
I'm tired of pretending to be glad
When inside I'm feeling sad
I'm tired of feeling bad
When there's nothing to be had
I'm tired of crying
Without even trying
I'm tired of lying
When inside I'm dying
I'm tired of saying all is okay
When I can barely get through the day
I'm just so tired today!

The Language Of My Soul

The language of my soul
Unwritten, unspoken

It doesn't reverberate
In the halls of your fame

It wouldn't be displayed
In the walls with your name

Nor will it be heard
In your silence

It will lay dormant
Inside my heart

Content to be locked

My soul beyond your touch.

Sunday Morning Song

Embedded image from another site

Sunday morning shine
a bird sings I know not where
it should be your soul awake
open the curtains
I love her singing and reveals.

Listen sings tenderly
from which branch does she sing?
day and night always
I love night and Sunday!

We see the bluebird fly
with colors such as purple and blue
such a beautiful hue
of downy and indigo.

Bird that sings of love
this miraculous transformation
soul singing upon her branch
love is heaven and heaven is blue.

Sister Ave is love
my love is a beautiful woman
A rose is less beautiful
blue bird of love.

Blue bird as the heart
red chest below of cries
seed stars with her song
blue love of my heart.

World of hurt

The dew glistens moist and wet,
Watering fields of unhappiness,
With Hues of blues and purple regrets,
A rainbow shines sadly in the salty mist,
In a breeze from a sea of lonliness,
So much despair hanging heavy in the air,
Saturating the things living here,
Sands of sadness make the darkest dirt,
A black and twisted twin of earth,
Like I'm stranded in this world of hurt...

MYSTERIOUS MAN

This mysterious man
He's blowing my mind
I can barely walk a straight line
He sounds so fine
I wonder is he my kind
Could he be that rare find
Hes leaving me
Blind Blind
He doesn't show his face
This mysterious man
Hes good at playing tag
Touch Touch
You're It
Time to show what you got
Picture Picture
I'm trying to put a face to this man
I would rather trace his face with my hand
Please tell me you have nothing to hide
mysterious man

Cloud Castle

Embedded image from another site

In her final moments
her silent face lies before me
mother's eyes so serene
like a lake undisturbed
by turbulent winds
perhaps inside she was smiling
perhaps not
perhaps lost in a world
of dreamy thoughts..

Her eyes cast a final gaze
as she faded into the kingdom
of brilliant white light
time seemed to have slowed
as she drifted away
surrounded by sobbing...

I had always known
the final moments
would be painful for me
but to my great surprise
it was peaceful for mother
as my tears flow wide
it was where I was
by my mother's side
as she joined
God's cloud castle in the sky...

Caress Her (s/c)

Caress the silent soul
when in the depths it lies,
bitten by the wind
of harsh and hurtful fires.

The logs and twigs
of careless words
bruise the yellow rose,
the depth, who knows

Bring love, bring care
bring tenderness too
Hold her tight
as tight as glue

No words can reach
no speech so fair
But hold her close
and love her there

Words can fail
as people do,
yet arms of love
stay strong and true.

Hug her till
the tears cease
and wind and fires
give way to peace.

As in the comment above & in your poem, words can fail. I'm somewhat at a loss for words to describe this beautiful, loving poem.
It's just... exquisite rose rose rose

This is such a tenderest ever tribute to love, such a strong advice from a poet who knows the surest recipe for making love enduring and time-, and fail-proof. I am happy this poem popped up on the bar so we could enjoy it again. Many thanks to you, dear poet! bouquet
