A Christmas Thought

Coffee's in the air, housecoats are on
top of the tree silver star greets the dawn
blanket for needles that fall off the tree
silver dollar snowflakes in the sky falling free

House is electric with the thought under tree
young ones with vision in their days and their dreams
boxes and stockings and cards filled with love
the who it came from......it was given to me

Christmas morning's greeted with the same record played
a memory that stays as your years pass you by
streets fall in silence as love stays at home
ribbons and bows wrapped up paper and tape

A time to remember what this day is about~

FG3.....Rise Of The Groth...(dreamweaver,prelude)

At the bottom of the deepest sea, or, higher than high,
On a mountain top……Near the roof of the world, where only dragons fly,
In our dreams, he is there….. He wanders through them,
chooses, one or two…… Here and there,
a couple at a time, as, and when, it pleases him to,
he takes them, as is his will to do.
though with a touch, like a feather, so light,
sweetness of mind, in thought, of a kind,
intangible colours, softly flowing, of honest hue.
A magical aura, around him, gently glowing,
a genuine affection, true hope growing.
Cosseted, fondly nurtured, supported,
coaxed and persuaded,
like a beautiful flower, with wisdom watered,
all gathered, subtly altered,
cared for, sorted.
Then woven…… With threads so mysterious, included of all life’s essence,
soft incandescence,
finally, making sure, everything is golden and of benevolence.

He summons the beast with an urgent thought,
The thought hovers for an instant, before on a mountain breeze being caught,
arriving almost at once, proudly, always ready in an hour of need,
Vision of majesty……Dreamweaver’s steed!

In a single bound, leaping, then…..With legs, neck gripped,
his master, on huge back did sit,
Urgently… The harness was pulled……..
"Upward....Speedily onward……." The sky beckoned,
lightning flickered……
The route to be taken, through darkened, stormy weather,
by instinct reckoned.
Then an awesome demonstration of power, as flapping and beating.…. Caused……Draft for flight,
For the long journey into night, thoughts of two destinies meeting.
With enormous wings of bone and leather,
he, masters beast, loyal as ever,
Of a sudden, is borne aloft!
Look up….
See underbelly, green, yellow, soft!
Huge talons, twin crystals clutched,
never before by mortals, seen nor touched,
flaring nostrils, Fiery breath,
lighting the way, by glowing coal red eye,
that does intelligent strength imply.
Course charted now...... From this dimension to the next!

The good things of life...

A regal sunset or a surreal moonrise,
The cry of an exotic bird from the Amazon,
The thrilling energy of a carnivore disembowelling its prey,
The smell of ozone in the air after a thunderstorm,
A cup of strong organic coffee shared with a close friend,
Johnny Walker, Black Label,
The touch of a baby, reaching out to its brand new world,
The soft look your beloved gives you just for the hell of it,
The explosive combo of flavors of a coconut-sprinkled, sizzling-hot curry,
Mail in your CS inbox[provided its not from a damn scammer...],
A funny episode of ‘King of Queens’,
A sleek young horse in its prime,
The dew on a new-born flower,
The proud breast of a fair young maiden,
A five-point lobster in a five-star hotel,
We could endlessly go on, couldn’t we?
Why don’t you post some of your own ‘good things of life’?
Vaya con Dios...

Monkey Gong

Breathing in than breathing faster,
A perfect disaster this life of mine.
I need a drink while I'm still here waiting,
For this to all to be over and I'll be home.
To sit by myself and think for a second
Turning into minutes and now hours long.
I turn on the T.V. just clear the silence,
But just like always there is nothing on.
Except for the news, but thats so depressing,
And the weather man is always wrong.
I lift my voice to clear out the ghost,
With a voodoo doll and my imported monkey gong.
It's pretty and gold, red trimming and swirls,
My own ancient chinese secret hex reverse curse.
It says ring it once then bow to the east,
Then read the inscription its in cantonese.
If I follow these simple directions my demons will be driven,
But unfortunately my ghost only seem to speak english
They continue to haunt me they rearranged my kitchen and stacked my dishes
Then kept changing the channels on my television
But they complimented me on my efforts with a nice try,
Gave me a pat on my back and even said good night.

Only words

Minds seek, match, collide
Tender feelings reach inside
Words thrill, slip and slide
Align within, without, beside

Very innards of the soul they find
Gently they prepare the mind
For receipt of only dear and kind

Longing like a faded song
Wanting trailing soft along
Ribbons of hope bright and strong

The sweet song of words is such
Seducing heart and mind so much
What effect then would have touch?

What Am I? (a riddle)

I am everywhere
Wherever you go
I know no nationality
I have no real foes

I speak in many tongues
And yet speak none
You hear me quite often
Tho you think silence has won

I have bought nations together
Not set them apart
You was born with me
I'm naturally in your heart

In different ways I speak to you
In different ways you hear me too

You think you can escape me but you can't
Forever in your mind
One way or another
In your mind
I always chant

What am I?

If I Fell Apart

Sitting alone again
In this house filled with tears
Sitting alone again
Enveloped in my fears
Staring at your blank face
Wondering what to say
Are there any words in me
That could make this go away

Sitting alone again
You across the room
If I were to speak right now
Would it be too soon?
With every glance I toss at you
This moment lingers on
Everytime I think of what to say
I turn and you are gone

If I fell apart
Would you put me back together?
If I lost my way
Would you find me?

So, here I sit alone again
I finally know what I should say
But here I sit alone again
With you a thousand miles away
Will I ever find my way back to you,
Has this path come to it's end?
Do we even have the strength in us
To find a way to mend?

If I fell apart
Would you put me back together?
If I lost my way
Would you find me?

~As You Sleep~

your face is in peace, lamps set on low, i see you lit in dark of night glow, smile to my face i touch your cheek an think how very specials this time, slight move in peaceful sleep a small memory i vow to keep, you found my hand with yours an hugged it in, you'd no idea as I lay watchin you sleep awhile, a little thing to some, to me . . . . brings a smile, it's a thought of what once was an it'll once again be. . . .~
