More Than I Am

Embedded image from another site

I pull my blinds down shut to end another day
An eerie silence fills the halls with lonesomeness and decay
I draw my sheets back and clear the thoughts inside my head
Because the quietness breaks my heart when im alone in bed
I turn the T.V. on to turn the emptiness down
I hear the voices speaking, but I can't make out the sounds
I look at my bible filled with guilt and shame inside
I havent picked it up to read for quite some time
And with hell I look up to my ceiling and cry
Have You abandoned me too for ever leaving Your side
Lord just light the way and I will come back home
Lead me back to that place I was once before
I know I havent prayed, because I have been afraid
I know I let You down and I was scared of what You might say
Forgive me for ever thinking I could do this on my own
Please give me strength so that I can carry on
And help me turn these pages once again
So that I may be all I'm meant to be in the end
A better friend, a better son, and a better brother
A better uncle, nephew, cousin, and a better lover
Teach me to be a father who leads his child with strong hands
Because I know that You made me to be more than I am

the banshee

she wails to your soul,
the comming of pain,
the black fairy appears,
voice of the undead in the darkness,
waiking through my mind,
pierceing my inner most shell,
bringing the death of you,
pure heart turns black,
i slowly open my eyes,
the nightmare begins,
let me see white,
my soul covers my heart in white,
to stop the rot,
saving it in times of darkness,
the shield of protection,
in black its bound to roam this earth.
forever more,
my soul passes the graveyard of life,
passing through fairyland,
colours a blur,
my heart begins to beat,
searching with the eyes of the undead,
my body numb with pain,
a dusting of light appears,
angel rays appear through the cracks,
darkhorse detects the vampires grave,
leaches sucking whats left,
crossing the undead hell a zombie,
i feel my pulse,
theres hope,
darkhorse rears his front legs,
slowly standing on his feet,
the mood changes,
the banshee heads straight to hell,
with the coachman of death on her tail,
rattling passed two ivory coloured headless,
horses,
leading the carriage straight to hell,
dumping the darkness into a bottomless pit,
locked away in the dungeons,
no more to see light,
i found you love,
dark becomes light,
colours everwhere,
my eyes wide open,
my hands outstretched,
raising them high to the heavens,
no more the fool,
the banshee buried deep,
in protection of my heart,
in the hope she wails no more,
far away a distant thought,
some say she lives in the pain ,
not heavens light ,
barred to the darkness,
were she never sleeps

moon

eye of the moon
looking down
into darkness
staring, watching
quarter draped dark

dancing clouds
upon the face
a wink,
silent breeze
whisper softly

talking night
haunting in sounds echo,
shadows crawl over
no light found
creeping darkness

empty no face
colourless beauty
light create shadows,
covers light the dark

into dark her glow,
power to light
our existence
in the night

UNTITLED

I have consulted all the angels
to show me the way
lost I have been for a long while
and still to my deep sorrow
there seems to be no sunny day
eloquence of words I plead
to have my fate
with love and trust be sealed
yet only and endlessly..
tears of strength
falling o'er my face
bleeding in hopelessness
feeling beaten and condemned
my mind confused and worn
the only thing I know
I can't bleed no more
Oh death of which I crave
lay me down to rest
and take my weary soul.

"Love so Fragile"

Oh! Love, a most soft and gentle thing,
Like silent falls of white Winter snows,
Or a dandelion stalk in a little girls hand,
As her wishes to the wind she blows.

Those who surrender their hearts to Love,
Will enter the warmest place,
Of cosy hugs and gentle caress,
And soft kisses upon their face.

Love is not possessive, or jealous, it's true,
Love's hurt to the bone can go,
It only thrives on caring compassion,
And needs plenty of space to grow.

Have you ever held a Robin in the cusp of your hands ?
A place so safe and warm,
Just strong enough not to let it fly away,
Yet gentle enough to cause no harm.

Did you feel it's little heart beating so strong,
Like a heart that has fallen in Love,
When a tiny spark is fanned to flame,
By the fluttering wings of a Dove.

Now to those in Love, the same rules apply,
Invite your partner for a close cuddly dance,
Hold them real easy as you waltz around Love's floor,
Steal a kiss as if per chance.

For it's the simplest things that make Love grow,
And keep it as strong as ever,
Show much respect and give it every chance,
This one might just last forever !

Reguiny ( 4 Phil )

What does one say to another not known?
Desires to express gratitude for all that's been shown...
England your home, in France you do roam...
A journey of words, your heart you have flown...

You've taken us places we never could see...
Describing the details in pure mystery...
From Egypt to Arabia...
To the English Lake District...
To the edge of the galaxy where black stars persisted...

Your stylized writing is beautiful to read...
Thoughts from your life put so eloquently...
You've taken on topics no other would dare...
And wrote your sweet words for us all to be shared....

a new morn

portals of mist
sprung unto my heart
a sign of venom
buried away in the past
glittering dew
on the petals
of a new dawn
ready to greet the
brilliance of a sunny morn

I have welcomed just as much
the portals of love
once again,
deep inside my heart
a sign of a new day
that takes me to the realms
of a new journey
full of trust and passion
and I, the new me
will love you as never before
mindful in gratefulness
that once again
love is around

the only truth
that will never change

pearl kissed

each one
sweetly stored
inside your
warm breath
as it flows
out hovering
lingering deeply

i will honey
golden treasure them
catching each and every
last one
throwing them
into the treasure chest
such rare jewels
flawless glimmers
staring out
with love

a soul speaks
beauty sparkles
in the deepest part
the rainbows end
priceless riches
pearl of
this deep ocean

you are gently
blowing the waves
beneath these feet
in a sea lifting
sweeping tides
of great joy
over and under
dancing with glee
swept away with you

Starfall

I was all alone again last night with nothing much to do...
Staring at old pictures with bright thoughts of me and you...
Inspired by lit stars at night, I looked up in the sky...
And what I saw, was two stars fall, two stars that were so true...

Trailing memories with cosmic dust just streaking through my heart...
Sparking off sensations that require all our part...
Trying to trick the hands of time, I tried to push rewind...
Only to find, these hands of time, only work when you push start....

I'm Aways Here Dear ! ( For Christina )

Should life e'er cause you stumble to a fall,
and you lie broken, tearful on the clay,
I then would pause my days to aid your call,
No lady owns my love, but you this day.
I'd gladly piece together one by one,
The shattered segments of your crystal heart,
Embrace you in my arms 'till hurt is gone,
Fond dreams of you, now tearing me apart.
Rise my beauteous princess, take my hand,
And you will feel my love is strong and true,
Important that you know and understand,
The heart within this chest, thumps but for you.
Should e'er you dab a teardrop o'er the miles,
I pray this ardent verse restores your smiles.
