Water

In the pool upon my back....floating....
Looking upon the stars....shining...twinkling...
In tune with me.
Feeling the water envelope me..
Like a lover's embrace...
The warmth of the water...the cool breeze...
Just caressing me.
Calm comes over me...the stress drains away...
What was unknown...becomes known...
And my sould, again, is free.

Love me

Love me in the morning,at the break of each new day..
kiss me oh so softly, hold me close to you I pray.

Love me at the noontime hour, call, to say you care..
I'll whisper things I'll do to you, come home early if you dare.

Love me in the evening,at the setting of the sun..
we'll laugh, and kiss ,and carry on, as if we;dd just begun.

Late at night please love me,let your heart beat next to mine,
let me feel how much you need me dear, just one more precious time.

Look me so intently, in these eyes that long for you..
Read them, and you will know,my heart it is so true.

All these things you've done all day, they mean so very much..
as my loving hands seach for yours, you know I crave your touch.

Thank you for your love for me,that dreams are all made of..
Two hearts in one accord,a gift from God above...

THE WRECKERS LIGHT

Aye,
Thar was ghostly goin’s on,
That first anniversary night, just off the beach,
Twas wondrous to be-hold,
Yet, twas evil too, that rendered impossible, all my speech.
The ghostly lantern was blowin’ in the wind,
Thar on the great rock twas pinned,
Main light, half mile yonder had bin put out,
You could ‘ear the man on the bow shout,
Thinkin’, ….’E had depth,
Tho, the inky waters was hidin’ rocky death,
Hah….Wreckers Delight!
Fifty marines, soon to be in one ‘ell of a plight,
For twas a cargo lugger,
Not this poor bugger,
That was due this night,
That should have followed that wicked light,
Twas not seen,
This transport of fifty of the Kings Marine.
And, only heard on this ‘ere beach,
The splintrin of wood, the screams…..As they died,
As all that sailed, was armoured full,
Them fifty marines.
Couldn’t 'ave swum if they tried.
An so evry year on this damned night,
I look yonder, on the great rock shines the ghostly light,
I hear the splintrin of wood,
An the screams,
As again…..The water claims the great an’ good,
An’ I kneel an’ pray for the soul of my Da’
An’ them other forty nine marines..

MY only GUY..at night..:")

=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=

When I first met him, I loved him,
I couldn’t take my eyes off of him,
He got me by his entire look,
His superb body, I got hook,
He didn’t smile, maybe he was just shy,
But I know he is the one, my guy.

=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=

Time will tell, and days go by,
When I'm with him, I want him to be mine,
His soft skins I can't deny,
He warms me, he makes me smile,
If he left me, I could die,
If I lost him, I could never survive,
I’m so deeply in love, my guy.

=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=

I am who I am when I’m with him,
He stays with me when everything turns dim,
I can do load things, I please,
I can fart and I can sneeze,
I can belch, I can snore,
He never said, ‘No, not anymore’.

=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=

I swear no matter what come may,
I will think of him every day,
I will date him every night,
I will touch him, I will hug him tight,
He will be the one, my only knight,
‘Mr. Pillow’ you have my plight.

FACE OF THE WINTER'S MOON

January 17, 2011

I gaze up at the round bright winter’s moon,
watching and drifting in wonder of you.
Have you felt a tug at your heart or sleeve?
Has a voice called out you were sure you knew?

Have you thought on it, over and over,
how souls seek each other, then meet by fate?
I whisper my wish for our paths to cross.
I’m patient, though sometimes I curse the wait.

Your deep soothing voice echoes within me.
I imagine your eyes...a familiar light.
Let my thoughts be the beacon that guides you,
bridging the distance between us this night.

All-knowing face of the bright winter’s moon,
nestled in a sea of ten trillion stars...
guide him to me through a brief pause in time,
and grant us a life of love that is ours.

Have we not waited and searched long enough?
Have we not paid every debt that we owe?
I long for the feel of him in my arms...
my love, my heart, he, the soul of my soul.

This poem speaks for itself. I am sending my intentions for the one I seek, out to the Universe and I await it's positive reply. Blessed be. May this poem find its way to the eyes and heart of he who will know that my calling is for him alone.

~I tried~

it all as I looked
for a lady in my life
up a road
down a street
in a park near the lake

seemed the sun held my smile
for the one that I'd meet
after all deep inside......
you just know when it's right

There were days that were still
like the time on a clock
when your breath would not run
took it's time in it's walk

I'm thinking deep inside.....
two footprints in the sand
given heart clean and soft
virgin mind by surrendered pride~

Winter blues

Cold puffy fingers sometimes white or perhaps blue
Frozen slippery steps and thoughts of chipping ice thru
Snow covered autos all in a row distinguished
entirely by a smidgeon of colour sometimes relinquished
A grim freezing day and yet many more of winter
I long for a moment of time of warmth..if only a splinter
Frozen numb wipers and sealed frozen locks
Perhaps the car will start if the battery's not shocked
Defrost forever to blurry images outside
Seems forever before I can even try to drive
Did I mention how I hate this sh..........sleet
Did I tell you I don't like it only try to survive it
Images in my head now drive me insane
More days of cold, frozen, broken, stiff, mundane,
stuck, caked, blurry, miserable, cursed misery.
Did I mention I hate winter?
Slipping, sliding, falling and shambles
Wind blowing me sideways as I ramble
Am I cold and miserable or to the point of frostbite
Can I make it thru one more cursed winter night
Did I mention I hate winter?

Explain To Me Please

We have come so far
here we are one hundred years
buildings high as the sky so it seems
trains planes automobils
freeways and highways and country roads
robots that tell us what too do
rovers on mars men walking on the moon
cell phones i-pods what to do
internet i can talk to you
a second around the world
ever thought why were so great?
generations before us six thousand years
we did this in one hundred years
Is it me or am I missing something?

For a Friend

Do you think I haven’t been in that dark place,
Not looked in the mirror, seen my own tear streaked face?
Ahhhh…..Loneliness my friend,
You think you wear it well,
You think that those around you,
Just don’t know, just can’t tell,
That carefully pasted on smile,
May fool others for a little while,
But, I’m too wise,
I can see it clearly in your eyes,
Spare me a little time, come for a walk,
If you want, only if you want,
We can talk,
There’s no need for you to be on your own,
No need to cry alone,
Just come around, tap on my door,
It’s no trouble,
It’s what friends are really for.

Email my Horse!

Email my horse
no time to stall

Or Tex*us right now
no need to call

He's saddled up,
hot to trot, and
rearing to go

Off into the sunset
like an ol' western
show

Email my horse
he won't charge
a buck

He'll kick in
a horseshoe
just for good luck

Email my horse
though he sounds
a bit lame

White hats and
cowgirls, he'll
lasso to tame~
