moonlighting love

looking upon
a misted moon face
her silver fingers
draw on loves energy
touching feelings
gently caress
softly whispering
to emotions

beaming on destiny
one shadow
romancing night
sweetly dancing
lighting up beautiful
a dream

in the touch
of lovers hands
they all but hold
this love within
to behold you
deep inside
this soul
my angel
i do love

peace

we never learn
always at war
fast to judge
slow to do good

what a state
I am not wise
no answer I have
the sun circles

moon waxing
then waning
life marches on
tides ebb and flow

yet we don't learn
negativity breds
very bad vibes
time for change

we need a seer
a prophet, a healer
maybe a magician
to wave his wand

peace, and serentity
please flow to us
let it heal and tend
our troubled world

A song, ....of love.

I'm in such bliss
From the first time,
We ever kissed.
Never new love,
Could feel like this.

There were others
That came & went.
They lack the patients,
To give love a chance.

Our love grows stronger,
Everyday.
As youthful features,
Slowly diminish away.

Our hearts soar like its,
Just the beginning.
There were time's when,
We second guessed.
That tested our emotional
Distress.

But we kept the faith,
& carried on.
acknowledged & requested
A feeling that couldn't go wrong..

Never had anyone who really cared,
To subside & breakdown my
Interior fears.

Magnified by unconditional love.
Supported & bound, by one another's
Trust.

Cant imagine being with,
Anyone else.
We are so truly blessed.

My heart breaks & disburse in
A million pieces,
I never thought I'd be
A witness,
thats grown into a love
Like this.

The mind at peace & content,
With our decision.
To take on this journey,
Of what we were given...

Lost,.....yet so complete.

Can your eyes see,
What's so deep.
Can your heart feel,
The murmur,
That reaps.

The gravitation towards,
Silence in your speech.
Pulls me in a direction,
so out of reach,
which awakens This feeling,
lost yet so complete...

The caress in your eyes,
Without being touched.
The kiss in your voice,
disguised, in such lust.
The magnetism in your aura,
Leaves me visibly, flushed.

Without uttering a word,
Your thoughts call my name,
Whispered in the dusk.
Catching each grain...

Your alluring smile,
Is a thief in destined defeat.
You have captured apart of me,

Lost,......yet so complete.

I Will Never Forget

Embedded image from another site

I started a canvas with only colors of gray
But then I realized I made an outline of your face
So I painted your lips something I really miss
The tenderness and warmth of your beautiful kiss
I colored your eyes they were as blue as the sky
They held all of my dreams and answered every question why
That I ever wondered about my short life
You gave me a reason to be and hopes to fly
And I didn't mind that we would fight sometimes
Because that gave our friendship a stronger reason to try
I began drawing your features as I remember whispering in your ears
Please don't ever to be afraid and that I love you my dear
So I painted some pink and red on the sides of your cheeks
Because when you showed emotions your colors would speak
As I rubbed on your body your scent would remain on my hands
If the world held hidden treasures then your body was the map
As I kissed you on your neck and I catch the smell of your hair
When my mind was congested you were a breath of fresh air
Then I kissed you on your lips and again on your head
You're just like a dream that I will never forget

Tell no man of you

He may come suddenly like
the wind
Your heart is captured by his
essence and you desire to open the
choice treasures of your soul before
his viewing
To soon you let his eyes savour the
subtle moves in the way you walk
In eagerness you suggest the heat of
the night before he has earned the
right to touch your cheek
Speak not to his imagination before
he has tasted the wine of your sorrow
Do not so soon throw the pearls of
your love at the feet of an ungrateful
soul to be trampled in the dust
Present to him in strains of eloquence
that his is a season of testing and he
must brave the storms of your whispering
winds, before he feels the thunder of
your passion
Tread softly on the coals of your heart's
destiny
Reveal yourself in small morsels of kindness
and test his empathy to communicate
Do not offer him the history book of your
life if he cannot read between the lines
And finally, test his faith
If he cannot be true to his God
why..would he be true to you?

Space is a Jungle

Embedded image from another site

A jungle can be massively big and so deep
And possibly full of creatures that we'll never see
Likewise trillions of ants claim the biomass throne
Over two hundred species on any one tree alone
A fascinating insect by engineer and design
If it had intellect its brain may be as brilliant as mine
The chances of ants in a jungle to see us are very slim
Unless we explore nature and go looking them
Although most of us in the real world don't really care
We have Discovery Channels and we know that they are there
But we just live our lives and let nature take its coarse
An insects life can be really boring when you compare it to yours
But turn the tables around and lets talk about earth
In the middle of this jungle we call a vast universe
How arrogant of a species to think we're all alone
When we have identified other planets that we could call home
So something light years away is a species far more advanced
And to them our world is just a tree of different kinds of ants
Nothing for them to bother with, we have nothing they want
But like National Geographic from a distance they watch
Or maybe they are just waiting for us to mature as a race
A primitive planet in the jungles of outer space

About this poem:
The alien jungle hypothesis basically says in a nut shell humans are like ants and 99.9% have never seen a human because the jungle is so big and likewise we humans are like ants and will never encounter an alien until it encounters us, but in the mean time why bother, let nature take its coarse . there are eight more theories and possibly eight more poems . Whats your theory? I'm a nerd what can I say. Cheers

my spirit soars

my vibrant soul soars
you tease my heart
as with wings it flutters
flying high my spirit
searching for you
my promised land
far of in the distance
hovering over you
looking down a beautiful sight
as i slowly descend
landing beside you
my soul rests
with you my soul mate
heaven has a new meaning
heavenly in you

A Leaf Unfurls

Embedded image from another site

See all of the buds upon the trees
watch closely as slowly one unfurls
each tiny weeny leaf stretching out
one by one peeling away from the buds

turning their faces up to the sun
some sticky buds much longer taking
all sorts of shapes and different sizes
as they grow and cast their dappled shade

on the tender plants hiding below
shade lovers of stunning colours
scarlet red Hostas amidst bluebells
the trumpets waving on their long stems

Embedded image from another site

all the sun lovers blooms open wide
drinking in the heat beaming down
tulips bright with merry stripes
all the colours of the rainbow

swaying gentle in noon heat
tall hollyhocks stately bend
the early promise of a rose
scents abound flooding senses

so easy to lay back and drift off
sun shining down heats the skin
bees droning gathering nectar
such an idyllic place to rest awhile

When it's Time

love now drifts heaven bound
somewhere up there in the ether
one day soon to be re-found
til then the stars shine brighter
their glow lit by your heart
showing me the way to you
I rejoice as when I depart
the path comes into view
back-lit all the way by stars
moonbeams guide me
music plays from sitars
drifting down in time
with my heartbeats
gently I float upwards
never again to be apart
sip wine in heaven's vineyards
